Here are some past posts that analyse the election for those new to the site. I had looked at all four of the candidates charts (VP and Presidential) back in September, and it looked nearly impossible for McCain/Palin to win, but interestingly every time I asked the cards they were not as clear cut as the stars.
My intuition told me it would be a landslide for Obama until Palin entered and it seemed for a while that she would energize the Republican base and this choice showed McCain wanted to win at all costs. Of course, there is always free will which is why the cards (I believe) are often more wishy-washy. They show what will be according to the energy of the moment. Astrology is more definitive (in my opinion) as a forecasting tool.
But I didn’t want to, and still don’t want to, emphasis the fact that I very clearly see Obama as president because I feel that many Democrats and young people can be complacent. And if there is any complacency here Obama’s win could be rocky. There are so many posts that I couldn’t even find all the references to my prediction of Obama’s landslide win, but I did find a lot of nasty, angry Republican comments reacting to my predictions. So here is a sample of some of the past posts and the dates they were published:

Looking at the chart of the 1929 stock market crash there are some striking similarities between it and this past black Monday. First a stellium in the same degree of Libra with the some of the same planets, mercury and Venus. During the 29 crash the moon was involved giving it much more emotion and fluctuation, this past Monday it was Mars playing an active role.
My intuition has been telling me that if McCain were to win by some act of hell freezing over and pigs flying, we would go into a serious world wide Depression, at least most certainly in the US. The charts confirm this. Notice how J.McCain’s rising activates that 19 degree Libra stellium in both the 29 crash and 08’s Black Monday. Uranus played a major role in the 29 crash by opposing that stellium; this time around Uranus played a major role inconjuncting that stellium. Notice also that the 29 crash had Saturn in Sag and Pluto has just hit that point. There are a lot of returns that seemed to happen this past Monday. I’m not going to go into all the astrological stuff here other than to give you all a chance to look at the interactions between the crashes and the two presidential candidates.
Answering Reader’s Questions with the Tarot…
October 6, 2008 ·
I asked the tarot if McCain would win the vote in Florida. The answer:
No.
It looks like due to the economy and the trickery of the last Republican administration Floridians don’t trust Republicans. It looks like it won’t matter much as Obama is really going to win by a big margin all over the country, and while it will be good that Florida goes to Obama, it will be a bit of an empty victory as he will win anyway. I wouldn’t be surprised (because of some of the cards in the spread) if we don’t find attempts to game the system down there like the Republicans did in 2000. But it doesn’t look like it will work this time.
Here’s what was originally published on this page:
I noticed a comment from a reader stating that another psychic saw John McCain winning the election so I decided to ask the cards. It was not as clear cut, putting the odds at 50/50, so VOTE!!!
After I saw Palin speak the first time at the Republican convention I was very worried and had a feeling of dread that indeed McCain would win. But after looking at all the candidates charts I saw that more damaging info coming out about Palin and ultimately the tide shifting back toward Obama.
I hope I’m right. We literally can’t afford 4 more years of a Republican administration that makes claims of small government and wants to end welfare for the poor, but seems more than happy to let us pay for their policies of deregulation, bailing out corporations and allowing CEOs to walk away with multi-millions of our money (since we’re the ones bailing those dudes out.)
That being said the bail outs are necessary right now or the economy would fall fast and hard and create a world wide domino effect. The answer of course is not bail outs (ultimately) but regulation which BTW were put in place after the last Depression and widdled away by special interests, lobbyists and Republican administrations.
This was very interesting. The cards keep giving me a totally undecided answer, as well. This has been going on for months.
If you’re interested here is my last Tarot reading on the election (about three weeks ago), and I interpreted it to mean that McCain will win by a very narrow margin, and that Sarah Palin will become President at some future time.

Psychic Victoria Weston predict Mccain will win. I hope she wrong.
Will McCain/Palin latest character assassination ads against Obama backfire on them? If so, how?
I did a little reading the other night where I just drew cards after shuffling and then saying the name of each person 3 times and here’s what I got–
Obama – The Star
McCain – 7 of Disks (“Failure is keyword for this card for Crowley)
Palin – The Chariot (ill-dignified)
This was with the Crowley Thoth deck.
I thought it was particularly interesting noting that the key word for the Star is “Hope”.
Interesting posts!
I have few questions re: the election day turnout and voting whcih analysts say will affect the results of the race:
(1) Will the Democrats get their young or newly registered voters to turn out in large numbers to vote for Obama in the Presidential election?
(2) Will a substantial number of voters vote against Obama due to race, enough to cause McCain to win?
(3) Will Obama and his family be safe in spite some of the unsavory and scary audience reactions that Palin’s remarks about him and Bill Ayres have elicited yesterday?
I’ve tried to word the questions as specifically as possible for the Tarot, but you are welcome to change them as you feel fit. Thanks in advance for your answers!
In the trial Berg Vs Obama they are saying Obama is not a natural born citizen and that the birth certificat he provided on his website is a fraud. Is it true ? Is it the October suprise ? Will Obama be discualified ? Or will he win the trial ?
mmmmm
I will do a reading on this. It’s the first time I have heard of it and will look into it. Thanks for the tip.
Best wishes,
Denise
Will Obama win Ohio? Or, by then, will he even need Ohio to win?
I get the strong sense that Obama will win, and he will have to have more security than usual. I do think that Mc Cain camp will dispute the win. I think Palin is like Bush, a meglomaniac. I fear her temperment and core values more than her inexperience. My daughter is intuitive, since early childhood. She initially had grave reservations about Obama, but now is a supporter. Her first impression of Obama, was that he is a prophet, able top change minds of many.
OBAMA will win. Please focus on this & vote. It is in the cards, trust me……
Hi Sinead,
Yes, in the first reading I did about this where I looked at all of the candidates charts, it was clear that Obama/Biden would win by a landslide. That was an earlier post, this was a follow up post right after the Republican convention in answer to a bunch of people, and myself, who saw Palin appealing to the base.
Best wishes,
Denise
But don’t take my word for it, as you said, VOTE!!!
Everyone does need to get out and vote. Vote early if possible–I did. Volunteer and get involved. I volunteered with the local Democratic Party to go next week to a University to speak to college students.
VERY interesting post and predictions. It certainly seems that you are right about a landslide Obama victory. But I have seen other tarot readings that seem to indicate a McCain victory, so I don’t know what to believe!

This is a very interesting prediction. I sure hope that you are correct, as the media is reporting, that Obama will win by a landslide. But I have seen other readings showing a strong outcome for McCain:

Weird, huh?
OBAMA WILL BE PRESIDENT HE IS A GOOD DECIENT MAN FROM HAWAII UNLIKE THE REST. Psychic Dayle Schear
YES WE CAN… I see so many psychics say thgat McCain will win , and I honestly cannot see this happening. I believe in my heart that Obama will win, and win big. I think people want to vote for him, and he will win on a landslide… I pray and hope my feelings are right.. McCain’s temperament scares me…
Will anymore Palin scandals or skeletons be revealed before the election?
What is being hidden in Palin Medical records that is causing her to delay releasing them
my adivce is vote vote vote early and vote here in fl we need to vote ealry dems are out numbering rep. please vote obama will be the next prez………………. MCNASTY IS ANGERY AND WOULD HAVE THE HAND TO DRIVE US DEEPER IN DIVIDE THIS COUNTRY PALIN IS A IDIOT AND I’M A MOM………..
Wow, “Palin is an idiot and I’m a mom”?
The misogyny in this election is disgusting. That “idiot” has the highest approval rating of any Governor in the US. Disagree with her positions – fine. Disparaging her intellect (and her “motherhood”) is… wow.
The attacks on Senator Clinton then on Gov. Palin have focused on their wardrobe, cleavage, vocal pitch, parenting skills, and on and on. This election has revealed and encouraged sexism in this country and regardless of who wins, women lose.
I guess this is the “change” we have been waiting for.
Well LA Musing,
Your facts are wrong. She did have the highest approval rating until about a month ago when it dropped to about 60 something percent. Her own hometown paper endorsed Obama and she’s been accused of abuse of power. Sorry to say that anyone who can’t even name one newspaper when asked is an idiot. And by the way I am a woman. And there are women who are idiots, like Ann Coulter, and Sarah Palin, both whom don’t understand the history of their gender. That women struggled to get them the vote, and women marched and spent their time trying to expand the nation and the world’s empathy for other women only for those two morons to come along and try to take away all the strides that have been made in giving women equality. If it wasn’t for the women’s movement, Palin wouldn’t be governer of any state. And if Ann Coulter had her way women wouldn’t be able to vote, which makes no sense since she herself voted twice. So I’m sorry you don’t agree that working against your own interest and being ignorant of history, newspapers, facts and reality makes you an idiot. But in my book it does.
Oh and by the way traumatizing a pre-verbal baby who has Down’s Syndrome by showing him off like a doll, clearly makes her a crappy mother. Also the fact that her son went into the military because he was a drug addict and her teenaged daughter is knocked up, doesn’t bode well for her mothering skills. She’s clearly too self interested to bother paying attention to her children and in my book that means she’s not a great mom. I can understand one kid being a problem but when both your adolescent kids have serious trouble, and your taking your Down Syndrome baby and parading him around at night rally’s, your not a good mom. I am a mom of a daughter and I would never take my baby to something so overwhelming, its plain selfish. This is clearly her pattern. It makes me sick that the right wing has co-opted this false concern for sexism when they not only never cared about this issue, but want to reverse women’s rights, don’t favor equal work for equal pay and in Palin’s case she wanted rape victims to pay for their own rape kits. She’s disgusting, not because she’s a woman, but because she’s a vile human being. So don’t pretend to play the sexism card. If this woman comes into power her main mission is to take not just my rights away as a woman, but my daughter’s rights and that’s REAL MISOGYNY.
And by the way no one on this blog has ever made a disparaging remark about Senator Hillary Clinton. She is a stellar example of what being a woman is. She is compassionate and passionate. I just wish she would have shown this in her election bid. But I have no doubt she will be president. And when the time comes I will do everything in my power to help get her elected.
Well said Zoma777!!!
Maybe you were trying to make the point that bringing up her mothering skills is misogynistic, but remember back in the 90s when Bill Clinton was impeached for lying about an extra-marital affair? The right wing seized on that, about how he had no morals. So their argument was he was a crappy dad and a crappy husband.
He was a crappy husband, but he was a good president. However, he wasn’t trying to pass laws making everyone have orgies. Palin wants to pass laws that control other people’s private lives and whether they become mothers or not. So I think its fair to criticize someone on this issue when they’ve made it the centerpiece of their political life and she uses her motherhood as some sort of badge of what a great person she is.
If she protected her kids and kept them out of the lime light, didn’t assert her personal beliefs in other people’s bedrooms or wombs then fine, the issue would be off limits. But you can’t go around telling other people they have no right to decide whether they want to be a parent or not, even if they are forced against their will (in the case of rape) into that position and then play it as if your own role as a mother shouldn’t come into question. She opened the door to this and she has to reap what she has sown. Know the old saying, “People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,” well, this is the point. She made it an issue by broadcasting her belief that she should be able to control other people’s decision to become a parent. So she put the issue on the table and if she can’t take the heat, she should have kept it to herself.
I am the definition of a true “soccer mom”. I’m exactly the demographic that Palin is trying to reach. Oddly, I agree with everything Zoma has said. Palin certainly doesn’t speak for me. Her parenting skills show a lack of good judgement and an inability to put the needs of others ahead of her own ego. I would feel the same way about a father in her position. That sweet baby boy should be his parent’s first priority. He will need all the love and attention BOTH his parents can possibly give. How can a VP do that?
Her political positions are downright scary. She has a str0ng need to tell people what they can and can’t do. Troopergate proves that its her way or the highway. We really don’t need this sort of person, male or female, in the White House!!!
Seems like Obama’s creating much more of a mess and throwing billions to earmarks…he lied and McCain was absolutely right about this guy..not only is he creating more debt in the first months of his presidency that any other president has in their entire term in our history, he has now put this country in danger due to the release of top secret interrogation methods which actually thwarted off further attacks. Both parties are at fault due to greed. We need a smaller government to help those truly in need as well as helping those who are able to stand on their own. People need to stop living beyond their means. Creating huge government that will ultimately tax people 50 percent of their income will not only kill the American Dream but kill the spirit of the law abiding citizens of this country.
Obama is going to do a fine job of leading us into a major depression. Watch for inflation, outrageous spending (money that doesn’t exist) already happening. Humongoua TAXES all over the place…in the name of “fairness”, “socialism”…Obama wanted to win at all costs, not McCain. It’s important he won because of the race wound (in this country-and the world) but beyond that, he’s a disaster. And it’s only going to get worse!!!
Hello:
Thanks for all your posting. Educational.
I am wondering what you make of Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron conjunction for sun signs and the world as general.
Thanks.
Kam
Great. Obama won and he’s now the President. What do you see for 2012? Will this President be re-elected?
