OK, the Metal Tiger Year starts on Valentine’s day this year. If one doesn’t know much about Chinese astrology it would seem that Tiger would be a good year, strong, valiant, etc. However in reality the Chinese feel this to be a year when conflict is at a peak and there will more than likely be more war, conflict and in my opinion there could be the second in what I called the “book end” market crash and what Obama recently called the double bump or something like that.
Tiger will cause over confidence, aggression and being in metal makes it even more harsh. The Chinese is not into too much of one kind of energy, it’s considered bad, balance is the goal (unlike western astrology which often favors the excess of an energy in a sign as a sign of genius or special talent). It is said to be a bad year for people born in the year of the Tiger, so if you were born in 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998 (the cycle is every 12 years) then take care of your health and stay out of arguments. Do your best to avoid conflicts, try meditation, yoga and focusing on keeping calm and out of lawsuits as you will likely not due well in legal disputes this year. Of course if you keep calm and stay focused you can do fine (I’m not a fatalist) however your instinct will be to leap before looking so keep yourself in check.
If you are born in the year of the Rabbit or Pig I think this is supposed to be a lucky year for you. For everyone else it’s mixed.
