Podcast Update

Alright I bought a mic this afternoon and then got a call to be on Mary Lynn Rajskub of 24 (Chloe) fame’s podcast. She has done a ridiculous amount of work including playing Adam Sandler’s sister in “Punch Drunk Love” and being on the seminal alternative comedy TV show, “Mr. Show,” (among many millions of other brilliant things she has done including stand-up comedy.) She’s not only an actress/comedian, but also a fellow visual artist and seeker. We’ve been friends since both playing the club Largo (me as a musician – she as a comedian) since the mid 1990s.

I thought it was odd that within hours of buying that mic she called about being on her podcast, which will air on Nerdist here’s the link: http://www.nerdist.com/. I will let everyone know about the interview when it happens.

I am also gearing up for my own podcast and am going to soon set up a special e-mail address that will be specifically for people who want a free reading in exchange for using your voice and reading on the podcast. I will of course honor people’s privacy as best I can. If someone is concerned we can use just the person’s first letter or something for those who want to remain very anonymous. So keep check for that upcoming information. I am going to start testing the technology this week and once my kid is back into a schedule I will start things up.
