My husband went to vote today and found out he was sent an absentee ballot in the mail. We are registered Democrats. And of course I’m a political liberal who is also a psychic who runs this blog, as you all know.
Turns out we were both put down as absentee voters without our doing. I went through a pile of mail and found my ballot. I plan on taking it to the polling place and talking to them about this. I actually will take it up with the State government and the media who will do nothing about it. So I plan on taking video of poll workers and posting it on Youtube later if need be.
My husband was told that this had been happening all day – he wasn’t alone. Here in California it seems many of us Democrats were turned into absentee voters so our votes won’t be counted for another 8-10 days.
I saw some voter fraud in 2000 here in CA but nothing like this. I can’t believe the dirty tricks the Republicans have stooped, too. Why don’t they just have an open coup so we have a chance to fight them face to face? I know because they’re a bunch of old feeble Plutocrats.
This two faced sneaky slimy behavior is reprehensible. We are SUPPOSED TO BE A DEMOCRACY unless of course you’re a Democrat then you don’t count. In essence what the Republican party here in America has become is not just a facimile of Facism.
It is Fascism.
It is absolutely the merger of CORPORATE INTERESTS with the GOVERNMENT – google quotes about what Fascism means by way of the main dude Mussolini.
Are we on the verge of a revolution? Our forefathers gave us 2nd amendment rights in case a faction inside the government went rogue. Is that what our country is coming, too?
Perhaps all the psychics who saw Obama being murdered if he were elected last time around were seeing a metaphor. Perhaps he will be the last American president elected by the people. He is ruling over a divided nation just as Abraham Lincoln did, the division is the same with different details – it is a war of the wealthy on the poor and middle-class. The plutocrats are getting down and dirty to rape our country.
If I’m this outraged one can only imagine how bad it will get.
VOTE!!!!!!!!
Let’s start with that. It is imperative now! And those of you who don’t take part in the process – start! Because if this gets any further out of control we will see some real violence here at home.

I am so glad I voted almost immediately after early voting started. I was afraid this would happen. I encouraged every democrat I know to get to the polls early just in case sometihng came up. I am so sorry this happened to you, Denise. That is just so wrong in millions of ways.

I didn’t think anything of it when I was talking to my cousin in LA a couple of days ago, but she said her absentee ballot was mailed to her as well. I thought it was a little odd she requested an absentee ballot when she is retired and there is no reason why she wouldn’t make it to the polls. She is also a liberal democrat. Fortunately, she found her ballot a few days ago and mailed it in on time. I wondered why they would just up and mail her ballot when it didn’t seem like she requested it. Very weird, Denise.

Yeah, I am not surprised. Still, the U.S. is not a dictatorship yet (if you want that, try China, a country where I lived for a few years). Something else that concerns me on top of the political craziness are the “weather events”. This month we have an eclipse in Scorpio on Nov 13th at 19 degrees, plus another eclipse at the of the month. The last time we had these exact alignments was in Nov 1993, and we had the Northridge quake 2 months later. The tipping point to the anger you sense could be a few more natural disasters in the U.S.
I hope you are wrong, Juno, but I have a deep feeling you are not. Having lived through Hurricane Andrew myself, I wouldn’t wish that kind of suffering on anyone – even Rush Limbaugh. I wish we could get the powers that be to listen about global warming.

Apparently that machine is back out there being used again! This is only one instance and he happened to film it. How many more out there go unreported and the poll workers don’t seem to give a hoot about it either!
I really feel like we are at a tipping point that I hope and pray goes in our favor! It’s been really helpful though to read updates from Denise and to see the replies from everyone.

Denise, I’ve been following your blog for several years now without many comments on my part but, I need to tell you and all who follow your blog that I told my wife the same as you have brought up here. It would be a shame if all the shenanigans going on over the course of this election should lead to an open revolt. It may not be out of the question to see our own version of Arab spring! I’m one of your neighbours north of you in Canada who not only went to college in Michigan but lived in Florida for a number of winters. My wife loged in San Jose for nearly 20 years working as a para-legal and what she sees happening is beyond reason a strict interpretation of her understanding of democracy. So, we both fell somewhat more than just bystanders and we’re watching to see how far and how deep a hole sensible people can be pushed before all hell breaks loose!
