Hi Denise,  I just saw in the news that there was an earthquake in S Carolina, early this morning. I had a thought about the orange garage light experience you had last night. Sometimes when I get signs they are literal. Do you think its somewhere called Orange? Orange county Florida, California, or Orange the city in different areas??? And, Do you think there is anything to worry about with the Soviets doing naval excercises in the waters off of Venezuela? Thanks for keeping up the blog! Hi Hope and A Plan, I had wondered about this, it was definitely something one would see in a ghost movie. I remembered as I was falling to sleep having had a dream the night before about an attempted terrorist type of attack, the weapons were mostly machine guns and I think there was an armored car involved. In the dream I was a spy uncovering the scheme. it was a foreign european country. it was night time and I didn’t think that much about it. That was all I remembered of it. It was so odd, that I kind of forgot about it. It’s not often I’m a spy exchanging gun fire in a dream. But I wondered as I was falling asleep the night of the crazy garage light, if perhaps I had blown off a warning dream the night before, and the light was trying to draw my attention to my unconscious. I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older (and because of all the migraine and seizure medicine I take now) that I often forget my dreams, and most of my psychic stuff happens while I’m awake, often physical/poltergeist type of manifestations mixed with intense emotional feelings attached to words that circle around in my head for days until I can’t ignore them anymore. Maybe the spirits really have to hit me over the head because I’m either jaded or the medicine I take makes remembering my dreams difficult. Anyway, I thought it was interesting to read the post by you which I have coming up after Better Days Ahead’s comment, about the terrorist attack in France. I’m not surprised by the attempt because as i said there are a bunch of European countries that have Pluto hitting something important in their national chart right now. But France actually doesn’t have anything all that nasty compared to most, so its not surprising the attempt was stopped. In my dream there was gun fire exchanged. And I’m not sure if it was France or Germany or England, it was just a very typical European city. There are parts of all European cities that look the way the dream did. Hopefully this will be it for attempted terrorist attacks for the time being, but I don’t know. I am a little worried that there maybe a bigger broader wider international type of plan coming, something that will involve multiple attacks in many European cities at the same time, and here as well because of this critical degree in cardinal signs seen in so many important and national charts. I really need to study the charts again, but I’ve been so busy as we all have with the holiday and trying to keep away one of my intense migraine’s under control for the past week. betterdaysahead   If there’s gonna be a big sell off, it might be lead by a failure to make a loan to the auto industry. Clearly Bush and his folks are against this.   Hi Better Days Ahead, It looked like the American auto industry would survive for the next couple of years and then go under. But there is so much anger about the last bail out which as I said in the posts back before it happened, wasn’t going to go through the first time around when it actually would have helped, but rather a watered down crappy version would pass and do really no good. People have a right to be angry. In my opinion the only reason the bail out happened was to show good faith to the rest of the world — basically to make it look like we were doing something, ANYTHING. But alas, the bail out was so flawed by the time it passed it really was an empty, extremely expensive gesture. Of course though the banking industry is the life blood of the global economy and if we poisoned it, then we were obliged to fix it or risk losing our place in the world economy. We would have been thrown out of the game for being cheaters, which of course, we were, so our government had to make a show of good faith to save face. But they really didn’t get much else accomplished for the money. The auto industry is a very different beast and it will fold our economy into a full swing Depression if it collapses, but we won’t be contaminating the world water supply like we did with the banking scheme. The Republicans don’t really care about saving Joe Normal’s job at GM, and as its turning out they didn’t really care about saving the world economy either, just fattening deals for their peeps. But that’s another story. I can’t say I have a lot of pity for the CEO’s of the American car makers, they’ve been morons. But I do feel for the people who have done their best, and worked hard at their jobs, and now face the potential loss of the life they’ve known.   hopeandaplan Hi Denise, I woke up with the feeling that everything was shaking and a lot of energy was swirling. I have been sensitive to geo activity. It doesnt need to be local. Of course, all of this might be personal to me… I wonder if this is particularly heightened since I have my Moon at 0 degrees of Capricorn at the nadir, or collective unconscious of my chart?? I just saw that a terrorist attack and asassination attempt were thwarted in France. There was a thwarted terrorist attempt of an Air France flight to LA a couple of years ago. Seems like this time of year is a vulnerable time for France… Take care of yourself… Hi Hope And A Plan, There have also been some earth quakes out this way the past few months. There was a pretty big one (5. something) about 4 months ago that we really felt, another out in the desert that was over 6 something, but in a very un-populated area, but it was felt here as well as in Arizona and Nevada. I felt it as a gentle rocking. Then of course some in the mid-west not too long ago. It has made me wonder, seems like there are an awful lot of them all over the place but then again, it seems earthquakes come in swarms and then calm for a while before the next swarm hits. I would think you’d be very sensitive to both geo activity and the collective unconscious with your moon at 0 degrees Cap and Pluto going over it right now. As for the comment I made last night about Eris, after reading it today I am not so sure about how well I conveyed my thoughts. It didn’t come out the way I thought I was conveying it at the time. Hence, I am not a writer! I am also not sure if I was right about her. I had some very weird, and actually not very dreamy, dreams last night about a lot of people being homeless. Not sure if it was Eris visiting me in my sleep or if it the fact that writing that comment was the last thing I did before I went to bed last night. I thought I was being enlightening but, I am not so sure about it today. But, anyway, FEEL BETTER!! : ) Many Angels to YOU!!  Hi Sparker, I’ve been doing more research on Eris. It seems that my hunch about the patriarchal version of her as slanted toward the negative is right. She is much like a trickster, Goddess of chaos and discord. She likes to confuse or as my friend would say she’s a sh*t stir, meaning she likes to get people to think, laugh and is seen (among those who see her as positive) to be a Goddess of creativity through chaos. She also likes to reveal the superficial and make people think. I found a site that extolls Her virtues and have posted some of it here for reference and a link to the site for anyone who wishes to find out more about this Goddess who will ultimately be absorbed into astrology once we figure her out. I’m working on it right now. I have been having strange dreams ever since the economic bailout took place last week. most recently, I had a dream that I was in a large city–such as New York and entered an area where families were huddled in small rooms, much like a motel but smaller. The rooms could only hold one bunk bed. There were many families. My question is will the homeless situation get better? How can we help?

Not knowing you personally I can only tell you what I read about the dream which has both personal and global implications. I believe your dream is a premonition about families having to cut back in terms of their budgets, lower their expectations and work together in ways our generation and even our parents generation haven’t done. The room represents the psyche, ambition, how we see our life in terms of expectations. The one bunk bed represents that whole families are going to find themselves “in bed” together, meaning we are going to have to help one another out.

The families were in a city like New York. I would interpret the city metaphor to be a microcosm of the world at large. Cities are melting pots, New York in particular. I think you’re subconscious is picking up on the global nature of this crisis and how it will trickle down to families. The fact that there was one bunk bed is interesting. A bunk bed is elevated, so again I think the metaphor is that we are going to have to be our better selves in order to get through this. I wondered if the beds you saw were white. I kept envisioning them this way. Were they? If so this has the added meaning of success being reached through working together.

In your own life, you are probably feeling small, unimportant, like one of millions. You feel helpless as to how to turn the situation around and are worried about the people you love and your family. 

In answer to the question about the homeless situation. It isn’t going to get better any time soon. It will get worse for a little while as all of this is going on, but I’m hopeful if we all get involved in whatever way we can, little by little we can turn this situation around.

Will this New Economic Plan (not called a bail-out now) Pass Congress and Save Our Economy? The Tarot Answers…

Check the post about the bail out plan below. This is not a reading for the bail out plan but for another financial plan that will come in the wake of the bail out failing.

(This is a premonition as it turned out. It didn’t really happen. This is sometimes what happens to me. But anyway, it will happen so I’ll keep it in here.) OK, It seems the old plan of a “bail out has been scrapped,” according to new news coming out. I guess they couldn’t pass it for obvious political reasons, most Americans were against it.

So I asked the tarot if this “new plan” will pass the house and senate. The answer:

Yes

Ace of Swords The Hierophant (reversed)  5 of swords (reversed)

I take this to mean that it will pass, but will not go far enough. We will still feel the economic crunch, the bill will pass in a bipartisan way (2 of wands) but with the three of swords both parties are feeling betrayed. This bill is going to hurt them both. There’s a lot of talk, speculation and rethinking (ace of swords). But ultimately there will not be enough institutional reform to really dig out the roots of the problem (Hierophant reversed) and will lead to a repeat of the problem, if nothing more is done in terms of reform (5 of swords, indicating patterns in this case negative patterns that while aware of them will go left untouched in this particular legislation).

Now for the ultimate question will this economic plan save us from disaster?

That’s a draw.

So it looks like our economy will still hit a low point as 5 of pentacles is literally economic crisis on a personal level, and it will not take our country in a new forward direction that will create new careers and jobs (ace of wands). It will make all parties uncomfortable (8 of cups reversed) because they know better and they know we’re going to feel the coming sting. With the 4 of pentacles reversed, we’ll also see that the fundamentals of the way we do business and the economic structure on stilts, ready to blow over at the next big gust on wall street. But it will get done even if it stings and makes all parties feel a bit cheated, including us.

Bottom line it will help, but it won’t be the answer we are looking for.

John McCain? What’s up?

Can he not deal with crisis? Cause that’s kind of one of the most important job’s the president is supposed to be able to do, and more importantly he/she should be good at handling crisis. If McCain was in power when the trade center was hit would he have done what Bush did, sit for 7 minutes reading to a group of kids while our country was attacked and then fly around in a airplane all day afraid to touch down.

If anything this is PURE POLITICS on McCain’s part. He said he didn’t know anything about the economy so how does he plan on solving this problem? He was supposedly incoherent in the latest meeting about the bail-out, uttering a few minutes worth of bizarre verbiage that no one could make sense of as the meeting ended.

It seems McCain can’t handle the heat, doesn’t know anything about the economy is afraid this will come up in the debate and is trying to cover for his crazy “soul mate,” Sarah Palin. From what I’ve heard McCain wanted to reschedule the presidential debate during what would be the vice-presidential debate. Now that’s convenient. I guess they don’t want the ice princess to melt under the spotlight.

Is the Bush Bail Out a Good Idea, the tarot answers…

I asked the cards if the Bush administrations bail out plan would save us from an immediate Depression. Yes, was the answer, but there were many caveats. It will be glorious for the wealthy, not so great for all of us. It would be a tremendous sacrifice to us the people and would set a dangerous pattern. 

So a bail out is necessary to stave off a Depression, but this one is lopsided and while it would do the trick in the short term, it would end up costing us a lot not just in the way of tax dollars, but in future problems. It would set a dangerous precedent for future financial trouble.

The Stock Market Crash of 1929, Now and Future Crash

In the 1929 stock market crash Pluto was exactly conjuncting the Dow’s 12th house of loss. This sensitive point will be hit by Mars in late December of this year. That alone won’t do it as Mars is a personal planet, but Saturn will be making an applying square at this time and Mars will set it off. Pluto will also be moving from the 12th over the 1st house. This will be a major death and rebirth of the market — MAJOR CHANGES. Venus will be making a trine to Neptune at the time (those who trust their intuition will do OK) but it will also be inconjuncting (the Dow’s ruler) Saturn, and Mars (the two malifics). Inconjunctions cause loss or separation (like from your money) and of course Neptune rules loss. 

The stock market crash of 1929 had transiting Pluto conjuncting Uranus in the 7th and making an opposition to the first house; it’s similar to the upcoming transits we’ve only begun to taste. I could go on and on about the similarities between now and then, there are many, but really the main point is to protect yourself. We, the tax payers, are already going to bail out wall street, but you can bet, you the individual share holder won’t be as fortunate. Take care of yourself and get out when you feel the timing is right — just do it before mid-December of this year to be safe.
