Some Info From Nitin…

Nitin tried to post this but had trouble. It looks like good information so I’m putting it up on the front page to draw attention to it:

Hi Guys,
happy new year 2009. Hope this year will be a quieter one compared to 2008. Anyway i would like to share to the readers of this blog some interesting stuff i have been reading and which i think is very relevant indeed to the actual world economic crisis. There is this guy in the states who got a phd in economics and he has been writing books on the US economy since the late 70’s and until recently where he wrote a book on the fed chairman Greenspan as being fraudulent and how through his policies is acting in the hands of the capitalist. I am impressed with his explanation of all the complex economic theory in simple layman terms and how he questioned the fundamentals of the modern ecomic school of thoughts. Maybe you guys have already started moaning about why i am writing about economic stuff on a psychic blogs and its not even my blog in the first place. Well interestingly this guy ( his name is ravi batra) a professor from southern methodist university have been making economic predictions since the late 70’s  and over 85% have actually happened. He also predicted that The US will wage a war against radical islam and also that iran will be governed by priesthood by the end pf the 70’s amongst other things. His books has been best seller in the states. i am going to include some links for you guys to check this guy out.
His details

an independant article on Ravi Batra
http://www.fwweekly.com/content.asp?article=7369
his main forecast over the 2 decades
 http://www.ravibatra.com/Forecasting.html
He wrote an interesting article on the bailout in very simple layman terms
    http://www.ravibatra.com/Bailout.html
also he wrote about the main reasons of the financial crisis
http://www.ravibatra.com/globalfinancialcrisis.htm
He also uses an interesting socio economic concept call the social cycles built in his forecast model for predictions.
i am impress by how he diverged and rewrute the wage gap effciency theory.
Denise, i would like to have your sincere views on this guy..his latest book in 2007 was entitled the new golden age is in line with your predictions about how the current economic crisis would create a new world order.
god bless
and Happy new year 2009

Answering Readers…

Hi all, I’m currently working on deconstructing the dwarf planets — Pluto being one of them, the one wreaking havoc right now. So of course I wanted to address Farah’s comment, which is here:

 farah

Eris’s original nickname was Xena and I think that that is the name that should have remained. The symbolic energy surrounding Xena mythologically speaking (even though Xena is a modern invention) is much higher and more positive than the concept of a goddess of discord and strife.

Hi Farah,

Xena was the dwarf planet’s nickname while Mike Brown decided on a mythological name. At the time I e-mailed him back in 03, I didn’t realize there was a rule that heavenly bodies had to be named after ancient God/Goddesses. I actually wrote to him begging him not to name the planet something stupid, and to pick a Goddess as there are so few represented. I had one in mind, but unfortunately the name was already taken.

I agree that the Goddess of discord and strife is pretty negative, and I wish he hadn’t named this very large “dwarf planet,” after a Goddess that was supposed to love the sight of human blood being spilled.

She is actually the sister of Aries, another warrior God. She’s pretty gnarly. And we’ll have to see how she plays out over the coming years. Right now Eris is at 21 degrees Aries. And Eris has been in Aries starting way back in 1924, so you see she is very slow moving. It takes about a century for her to change signs, so perhaps we will see a corrolation between her energy, and that of the century, in which case we are still lingering in the 20th and haven’t quite made it to the next level. Interesting to note when Eris was in Pisces it was during the enlightenment, and when in Aries: it was the age of self-realization, modern art, the sexual revolution, and a general push toward exploring the self (also the “Me” generation fits squarely in the center of her reign.)

Let’s hope Eris was unfairly named, and perhaps is more about the general color of the mass consciousness, perhaps the deep dark id-like side of humanity, or the life blood of a century rather than just her horrible reputation as being a viscious death mongering blood letting, cold, malacontent, Goddess of chaos.

I wonder if perhaps her story, and her attributes changed over time as the Greeks became more patriarchal. This is a common theme, demonizing Goddesses as a culture turns from the feminine aspects of God for political reasons to support the new patriarchal system, and thereby changes the attributes of a Goddess. This was also done in the bible where several demons were actually, at one time, Goddesses and Gods that the ancient Jews worshipped before becoming monotheistic. It’s a common political-religious tool to frighten people into a new belief system that enforces a new political structure.

Thank you Denise for your advice on Minara Resources, MRE, The company was born in Perth, Western Australia not Sydney, Australia despite this, the reading was accurate in that they were doing very well in 2006. Would this have much affect on the overall accuracy of the astrological reading? When I read and re -read some of your answers to our questions there is a thread throughout that somehow gives me faith and peace (something I haven’t had recently) that the worlds economy wont end but transform, even though our foundations, our basic security is under threat, and there will be massive changes and challenges to come, there is a larger picture that is ultimately for the good. At the end of the day materialism isn’t what it is made out to be and can often create so much misery as seen in our Western worlds. My gratitude to you for helping me see this.
Louis

Hi Louis,

The timing would be slightly off with a city change, but the basic chart would be the same. Also if this stock is traded in Sydney then it would likely take on the timing of Sydney.

I’m very glad i could help you feel better during this period. These are growing pains and if we all stay involved and demand our world become a better place, it will be.
Best wishes to all of you and many blessings,

Denise

Answering Readers’ Questions…

Hi everyone, I’ll try to get through some questions tonight, but those I don’t get to tonight, I will get to over the next couple of days. So if you don’t see your post here, and you asked a question, you will see it soon!

The first is from Pat:

Pat

Wished I knew about your prediction back in September re the stock market big fall.

Love your insights here and check it daily for updates.

I appreciate if you could provide an insight as to whether I should hold or sell this AUSTRALIAN stock

CENTRO PROPERTIES STAPLED (CNP)

before the predicted Tsunami on 21/22 dec 2008

Hi Pat,

Because I don’t have foreign companies in my computer data base could you give me the date when this company started trading? Or if you want to ask a question, go ahead and I can use the tarot instead to answer you directly.

Gwen Merrick

Hi Denise,

I came across this site which got me thinking about the trend going on in these various cities (Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, New York City) all of which are asking for handouts from the Federal government. Is it more widespread that the cities mentioned and is there a particular astrological aspect that runs through them all? Here’s the site:
http://themayorspage.blogspot.com/2008/11/this-is-starting-to-get-scary.html
Thanks again for you insight.
Gwen

Hi Gwen,

I read the article you sent and ran some city charts which I will post here but I don’t feel this is a city problem. The cities are just the first to feel the effects of the dark economic times we are facing. This is only the beginning and over the next few months we will see more and more scary economic news come out. There has been a lot hidden from us while Pluto transited the Dow’s 12th house. What happened there was bad and the ripple effect will be unfolding. As cities loose revenue because houses will be abandoned and people will not be able to pay for extras there will be a loss in sales taxes, all of these taxes help to keep a community thriving and able to meet the needs of its citizens. But this money won’t be there and projected budgets of income won’t be met, leaving cities in a deficit without being able to fuel new revenue. I’m sure in New York this has a lot to do with the housing market and wall street, and in Detroit the housing market and auto manufacturers and in Chicago the housing market and the commodities market. It all comes back to the housing market and again wall street with those evil predatory loans, this is the main street we heard about so much on the campaign trail but honestly didn’t really make sense until now. Politicians were privy to the goings on of how this problem was trickling down but we didn’t see it, won’t truly see it until Pluto goes over the 1st house of the Dow in late December early January 09.

Here are some city charts for reference. As I looked at Chicago my fears for its safety were again aroused as Pluto will be making some very bad aspects in 2010 and 2013. I will go into that at a later point. I feel that it will be domestic terrorists this time, not foreign, that hit Chicago. I have a feeling there will be an attempt in 2010 but it won’t work or will be stopped but another attempt will happen in 2013, and that one could be very bad.

picture-10picture-9On 9/11 transiting Pluto made an exact opposition to New York’s natal Pluto.  And it looks like the transiting Moon was on the 10th house opposing New York’s sun and sextiling the natal Pluto, lighting up this opposition.

Starting in January of 2010 transiting Pluto will be making an opposition to Chicago’s foundation chart’s Venus in the 8th, leading me to believe there will be rumblings or beginnings of some sort of attack. By January of 2011 in the incorporation chart Pluto will be squaring natal Jupiter. I feel these attempts maybe sort of like what happened in New York before 9/11, smaller attacks sort of like what happened when terrorists set a bomb off in the trade center underground parking structure. But starting in January of 2013 transiting Pluto will be making a transiting square to the incorporation’s natal Pluto in the 10th and making a conjunction to the South Node in the foundation chart. This will be when the real trouble will be, however I feel there is still a very good chance that this plot will be discovered in time maybe averted.

Hi Denise,
I am an avid reader of your blog.I was wondering if OZL (OZ Minerals LImited) listed on the Australian Stock Exchange will recover to levels of 12 months ago and when would be a good time to sell stock in that company.
p.s. I bought the stock when the Market was at its peak.

Thanks

Gurdeep

Hi Gurdeep:

Someone asked about Oz Minerals about a month ago, here’s the page with info on that stock. Because it is a foreign stock I don’t have astrological data on it so I had to use the tarot. It looked like the company would stabilize over the next couple of years and be bought out, I’m not sure how that would effect things for you. Hope that helps some. If you have a date when they started trading post it and I will run a chart and give you more detailed info on this company.

One should look at the USA chart on July 5:10 p.m. or Liz Greene’s chart for 4:50 p.m., Philadelphia…those charts coincide with the planes that hit on 9/11….Liz refers to her chat as the National Chart and if one looks at the transits to that chart one can clearly see the coming Pluto oppose Venus which is the ruler of the M.C. of the USA chart….one will then also note that Saturn is coming to the MC of that chart an ominous sign…??? although it is what Biden had to his M.C…it is clear that he had a winning chart…..however…could this mean something else……do the transits to Obama’s chart for November 14th 2009…12:00 p.m………IF it is a correct time of birth..and that has not been establiched………these are very scary aspects….they coincide with Saturn to the MC of the USA chart ( 5:10p.m. Phil.)….. notice Pluto also squares the MC at the same time……not sure that the signing of the Constitution ( 1787) is the better time to see what may happen….the birth of the country July 4th may be more correct…just take a look for the next 2 years and hope otherwise.
Pat

Hi Pat,

Every astrologer works differently. We often use different houses, different charts depending on what the issue at hand is and even entirely different systems. There is a lot of debate among the astrological community about the chart of the U.S. I use the constitution and the signing as my go to, and usually the signing, because this is actually when we legally declared ourselves free from British rule. I’m familiar with Liz Green’s work, but only as a sort of mass sun sign astrologer which is different then the sort of work more esoteric astrologers and psychics do.

Usually, when a country or an entity of any kind has more than one chart they are accurate about different aspects of that entity or country. I used the U.S. constitution signing because, in this instance, President elect Obama will be steering the laws and direction of our nation, and it seemed fitting that the inception of our country be used instead of the date we celebrate, which many astrologers believe to be wrong, or just the constitutions chart which is fine, but the signing is the manifestation chart, and in my opinion more accurate.

I will however check out Liz Green’s chart of the US. I’m curios to see it.

Louis

Hi I do enjoy your website, thank you for all your work. I was advised by a reputable psychic to hold onto my (Australian) shares and do not enter into the mass fear and loss of confidence that is wreaking havoc on the financial markets. I have so far followed her advice despite being at a large loss with the 2 stocks in mining that I hold. I am feeling a little shaky that I will lose everything. What is your opinion or feeling about the above advice could firm faith prevail rather than feeding into mass fear? To be quite honest I held on because I am at the risk of already losing a large sum, and it was almost too late to sell. On behalf of those like me who may have left it too late are we foolish to hold on hoping things will improve one day?

Hi Louis,

I can ask the tarot specifically about those stocks, whether to sell or not if you post the names of them. On a general note however you are sort of in the undertow now and have to let go, hold your breath and let the wave pass over you. I don’t have a feeling anyone can come out ahead right now and it may take several years to regain what you’ve lost, but I do think it’s possible even probable as long as you’ve invested in solid companies.

This financial situation is going to take a long time to dig out of, but if you can wait, you will more than likely be fine. I must say though, it’s a lot more then fear driving this economy down. This is real. There are some really serious problems that will be discovered, and are being discovered, and it won’t be easy to sort out. I don’t know when the psychic told you to hold your investments, but I would have told you to sell everything back in September which is when I started the blog, and told everyone to get out of the stock market ASAP as it was about to collapse. Please post any specific questions about companies you may have, and I’ll try to get to them as soon as possible.

Best wishes and many blessings,

Denise

And I’ll get to these questions and more over the next couple of days:

Hi Denise!

I love your blog and have become addicted to it (in a good way, of course) …. what will happen to Joe Lieberman? I feel he can’t be trusted and the Democrats should throw him back to the Republicans, since that seems to be his comfort zone.

Also, as a Floridian, I’m interested in the political futures of current Governor Charlie Crist, and former Governor Jeb Bush. I’ve had enough of the Bushies and their ilk, but I somehow don’t think either of these guys is going away anytime soon.

Peace and blessings to you!

The S&P is currently at around 870 , at its lowest point of the coming severe recession depression, will it reach 600? or perhaps even 400?

Hi Denise:
(1) The Gallop poll shows that Obama’s favorability rating is at 71%. Are the people who didn’t vote for him finally starting to see him as the right person for the job? This rating is very good for someone who hasn’t even taken office yet. Go Obama!
(2) Do you the know the timing of when Sarah Palin will have this civil case against her? She has been plastered all over the news lately. Everyone wants an interview with her to ask about her $150,000 + clothes (was this her doing?). She should really be ashamed of herself for saying those lies about Obama. She’s so quick to call people “jerks” and liars if they say anything negative about her…but when she does it, in her eyes it’s ok…like when she tried to incite hate and violence towards Obama. It’s just so upsetting to see these republicans being so hypocritical and mean. I don’t understand them at all.
(3) Speaking of hypocrisy, Elisabeth Hasselbeck (Sarah Palin’s twin sister), the woman who is so hated by many for her strong republican views, constantly butts heads with her co-hosts. I really don’t think her co-hosts enjoy working with her, eventhough they say they do and they all love each other. I feel they secretly hate her too and they just have to put up with her because this team brings high ratings. What do you think about this?
Thanks again for answering our questions. I really enjoy this site…I feel we have our own little community in here where we can come to share our views, seek spiritual guidance and feel hope! Thank you Denise!

Best wishes to all of you and many blessings,

Denise

Hi Denise,

Some time ago a reader asked a question about Mexico and violence. and I was wondering if you could expand on your thoughts on violence in that region. I have several friends that are planning extensive visits this winter to Mexico City, Oaxaca and Chiapas and i myself am considering it. Recently, someone i knew was brutally assaulted and murdered (a US citizen), and another person I knew , an independant journalist, also a US citizen, was shot and killed some time ago. At least one of the murders (if not both) are considered to be politically motivated. Suffice it to say, it has arisen some concern about how safe it is to go this coming winter, and any feeling or input on any increasing violence in the near future would be greatly appreciated.
thanks so much!

The Stock Market And How it Interacts With Our New President Elect

Hi Everyone, I just want to thank all of you for the kind words and support. And for your genuine compassion and hard work in turning this time stream toward a hopeful and positive future. I’m not saying we won’t have to pay for the trudge through the mud of the last 8 years, but our choice now will greatly help not just the US, people of all races, ethnicity’s, women, and men, but also the world as we are all more interlinked now then we have ever been.

That being said we are going to have some crazy times ahead. And I will try to help navigate the waters ahead as best I can. As I mentioned before the stock market and the global economy is going to go through a very tough period. And remember Barack Obama is President elect, his energy is not yet attached to the karma of our country until inauguration day when he takes power. So we are going to see the Bush continium until the end of January. And Pluto goes over the Dow’s first house starting late December until late January. We will start to see some very odd stuff. Perhaps the reality of the economy will depress sales at Christmastime and further contribute to the Dow, and the rest of the world’s financial crisis come January. This aspect is exact until about January 22. I think inauguration day is the 24th, so perhaps the new energy of Obama/Biden taking office will bring some hope to the market, and the worst will be over for awhile.

However, in August of 09 Pluto will again go over the Dow’s first house as it retrogrades, and hopefully we will see our government use this energy in a positive way to put in place new regulations in an effort to restructure rather then the other alternative, another plummet. I’m going to be optimistic right now, and say this will be the start of a major restructuring of the global economy, and it will start here at home with the way America does business. Now we could also see the market react negatively to this, as we all know many investors don’t like changes, restructuring or regulation much. But it will be necessary and ultimately to the world economy’s advantage. If we don’t restructure, it will get very bad.

But, I do believe President elect Obama will make this a top priority in his administration. And I’ll let you know what I think will happen to the economy. I was going to answer a bunch of questions tonight, but I have been swamped the last few days, and will do so again tomorrow. So keep asking questions! This makes my job a lot easier. And a lot more interesting.

I decided tonight it was best to focus on the economy because I’m sure people are getting nervous about the market again now that the election is over. I’ve also gotten a plethora of questions about this issue, all of which I haven’t had time to address, but will over the next few days. I was too busy with the election to help those dealing with the economic crisis first hand.

So here are the charts of the DOW, NASDAQ, President elect Obama and VP elect Biden:

picture-8There is something very remarkable here! As bad as John McCain’s chart’s interaction was with the Dow, the opposite is true of President elect Obama. The Dow’s 8th house is Leo, this represents the investors/speculators. Obama has a stellium in Leo arcing over this house and into the 9th and he actually has Venus (a very beneficial planet that rules money) making an exact aspect to the Dow’s Moon which will be set off by Pluto. This aspect will literally soften the effect of the crisis. With Obama’s Venus being in the Dow’s 6th house there will be work done to the Dow (it will conjunct Uranus and make the opposition to the 1st and Moon which is where the Pluto transit is going to be) but with it being Venus, he will actually help stabilize the economy despite the volatility we will continue to see.

Also with his Sun conjunct the Dow’s 8th house, there will be a lot of people making money in the market. He also has Chiron in the Dow’s 8th which means he will help heal the situation for investors. Obama’s Saturn in the Dow’s 1st house means he will bring strict rules and regulations and order to the market. And his Jupiter (in Aquarius) is also in the 1st, showing he will expand the market in technology and attract more foreign investors in our companies. Perhaps even expanding the way our market is viewed in the world. This same Jupiter conjuncts the Dow’s Part of Fortune in the first, again, he will help bring a renewed prosperity.

OK I need to turn in for the night.  But let me say, that seriously the US really made the right decision here, for so many reasons! Not just because Obama is graceful, insightful, intelligent and compassionate, or because he’s broken barriers, but because he is going to do amazing things. He is going to turn this country around for the better in so many ways. And one of them will be fixing this economic crisis. Obama will show himself to embody qualities of FDR, Lincoln and already we’ve seen the parallel’s to Kennedy.

He will be a great president.

Congratulations to all of us!

The Stock Market And How it Interacts With Our New President Elect

The Economy…

In a post last week I talked about foreign intervention in the markets and a rally on wall street, I thought it would be toward the end of the week. I have a feeling this whole week will be good for those of you wanting to get out.

Pluto is a karmic planet and the more our country and the world goes toward the politics of tolerance, understanding, intelligence and fairness, the better the world economy will get. I don’t know if any of you noticed, but when John McCain was up in the polls, the market took a dive. Now I’m not saying he is directly responsible, but as I said in an earlier post his chart is so bad for the Dow that if he won we would see, as I said before the difference between, “an economic Hiroshima,” in the case of McCain, as opposed to an “economic knife fight” if Obama wins. I truly believe that as we are headed into a double digit lead for Obama, we will see the Pluto aspect in December lesson. That’s my feeling right now.

There is always choice. Fate vs. freewill this is a big debate in the astrological community. “Bad” charts and “bad” aspects can be used for good if the individual or the entity being read has been virtuous, true, and built a life of doing good. One can also avert disaster by making a change in the path toward these principles which I believe the American people are doing right now, but it won’t erase the karma we will have incurred, it will however soften the blow. So that’s the good news.

The future is a path and as more go toward the positive, the better it will be for all of us. This being said, we will see some very unprecedented and bizarre times in the stock market over the next couple of years so if you don’t have the stomach for it, best to get out while you can. There is going to be a major restructuring of the world economy and the market place as a whole. So for the little guys like me, it might be best to play it safe. That’s what I plan to do. I’m personally am going to wait for the Pluto aspect (which takes several years) to pass before re-entering the stock market. I’ll keep you posted.

One tip though, in about 2010 we will see the start of a good time to buy real estate and turn that around for a bunch of money in 6-8 years.

Best wishes and good luck.

Answering A Reader’s Questions About Gold… The Tarot Answers…

Here is the post:

Cheryl

Can you please tell me if you see Gold becoming important again in financial affairs – as it used to be before the gold standard was abolished. Thank you.

It’s interesting that you ask this because I have been wondering this myself. I’ve had the intuition that it will not be the same in this new market. I also had a strange dream about a lawsuit against the treasury trying to re-instate the gold standard about a week ago. I’m not sure what that meant. So I’ll ask the tarot…

The answer to Cheryl’s question:

Yes and No.

Having gold will put you in a better position in certain circumstances, but not all. It will not protect a person financially in the way it would have a hundred years ago.

Oddly I get the feeling the market for gold in a depression wouldn’t be very strong as the only real use for gold is in making luxury items like jewelery and the only people that would be able to afford this are the extremely wealthy. While I’m sure you could sell gold for money, and it would help, it will not be enough to protect a person from financial depression.

Basically, don’t put all your eggs in the gold basket. If you have some, it’s not going to hurt, but buying it now isn’t a great advantage.

Hope that helps.

Best wishes to all.

Answering Reader’s Questions…

A reader named Roe asks:

Hi!
How much do you charge for a reading? I like your answers and the way you handle the questions. I’m curious as to what kind of a president Obama would be? Other astrologers have predicted a serious occurrence at the time of the election and also around the swearing in ceremony-what’s your take on it?

Thanks for the kind words.

I can do private readings over the phone via paypal. For a 15/20 minute reading it’s $90. I suggest doing this first so you don’t have to spend much to try me out. I can set up a time to call you and we can do the paypal transaction at the beginning of the reading, of course this would not be counted in your reading time. 15/20 minutes is generally enough to cover all of what you really need to know. Of course if you have a bunch of questions and you need a lot of information about specific stocks, etc. It would take longer and you might want to go for a 30-40 minute reading for $180 or a 60-70 minutes for $360. This is at the middle range of how much psychic phone reading costs. Here’s a link if anyone is interested in doing a price comparison research: http://www.keen.com/CommunityServer/UserBlogPosts/Lexy_Moon/Average-Price-Of-A-Psychic-Reading/358939.aspx

For those who are interested you can post and I will contact you via e-mail and we can set it up. In the case of missing children, criminal cases I would be happy to volunteer my time when I can. Or for those of you under extreme duress who really need guidance, I can do a yes/no spread and post it on the blog. Of course I’m always here for anyone wanting to ask a question in the comment section. But I won’t answer it unless it pertains to something bigger than just a personal question unless of course the issue is of dire consequence.

In reference to the later part of the question I don’t have the feeling, as I did in 2000 that the election will be thrown. Firstly, I don’t believe there is strong enough support within the Republican party to put themselves on the line for McCain, and secondly this election will not be close enough to throw. In terms of something happening during the swearing in, I’ll have to look at that. I think it’s only common sense to say that Obama is going to have to double up on the secret service, as I’m sure there will be attempts on his life. All you have to do is read some of the crazy trash people write me! And I’m just a messenger. There are a lot of violent, gun totting racists out there. I do worry about him. But we’ll deal with that when he wins.

And answering what kind of president Obama will be. I think he’s going to have an up hill battle. It’s going to be very hard for him, but he’s going to turn this economic crisis around after a few years and we’ll start to see things look up again. I think his calm demeanor and humanitarian personality will be a huge benefit to our country in our time of need, and  he will go down as an excellent president. But it will be rocky for him, there are going to be a lot of curve balls, not just with the economy, but with foreign affairs, which I’ll get into in later posts once we get through this horrible crisis.

It’s my feeling there really isn’t a person who would be better for this challenge then Obama right here and now. I think just his positive energy and slogan of hope helps uplift us even now. If we had McCain running against someone equivalent to him there would be a lot more hopelessness than there is right now. Obama represents a lot of archetypal things; he represents the American dream which a lot of people had lost hope in. He represents the idea that anything is still possible in our country, and we can’t discount how important this is to our psychology while we are facing perhaps the worst economic crisis in our history. If anything is possible, then we can get out of this, we can find a way. It is this belief in the human spirit, and American ingenuity that will translate to uplift our country. FDR, Lincoln and Kennedy had these qualities and I see them in Obama.

Answering Reader’s Questions…

Why Won’t Sarah Palin talk to the Press?

Why won’t Sarah Palin talk to the press? Well, according to the tarot it looks like the McCain camp is afraid of scaring off those top one percenters who would see her as a huge liability in terms of her understanding of the economy and the work force. She’s great for invigorating the extreme right (the Republican base), but not so good for engendering confidence in the very wealthy (those few really in control of Republican policy) and truly conservative. It seems they are also worried she will come off as over-confident, arrogant, bossy, authoritarian and cocky, but with little to back it up.

She looks good in photo ops though… I guess being a sports caster and beauty queen has its advantages.

Why Won’t Sarah Palin talk to the Press?

Barack Obama – his chart, who is he?

It’s interesting to see how prevalent the 7th house is in the charts of politicians. As law makers it makes sense being that the 7th house rules courts and justice as well as partnerships, the public and open enemies.

In Barack’s case we see a lot of 7th house action, his mind is defintely occupied with issues of fairness, equality and service. His Leo sun is reigned in by the 6th house of service so any bombast is tempered with his desire to serve coupled with his opposition to Uranus in the 7th and his Aquarius rising he has strong desire to serve humanity.

With his Pluto in the 7th his partner is strong, as we know. And has great influence, as well as Joe Biden will. He takes into consideration other points of view and weighs them heavily in his decision making process.

Moon in Gemini trine his Jupiter gives him a cool emotional demeanor and an understanding of both foreign and domestic people. His childhood would involve a lot of emotional ups and downs and moving quite a bit, this is also public knowledge but is indicated in his chart. His mother was an intellectual and teacher, (Moon in Gemini in the 4th) this created great opportunity for him to grow intellectually as moon trines his Mercury in the 6th. Again he puts his knowledge into serving the greater good. Not surprising he would become a community organizer as his need to serve is strong and taught him a lot about the world and himself.

Mars in Virgo in the 6th again reinforces his desire to play fair and serve others in the process which is probably why he was attracted to law. but the kind of law he was interested in and is interested in is focused on workers and their plight, those that serve others, he identifies with them which is part of his passion to serve.

He has the ability to think outside the box (Aquarius rising) but this is balanced by many factors in his chart which enable him to think in gradations of color as opposed to the black and white world of someone like Sarah Palin who has a proponderance of fixed signs and too much Aquarius in her chart leading her into the realm of magical thinking and the inability to listen to others, this quality often referred derogatorily as “a know it all,” is not present in Barack Obama. His chart is balanced with all the elements and enough mutable signs to offset his fixed sun and rising. He is strong in his convictions without being married to his ideas, able to amend his position to changes that come along when necessary and capable of listening to a good case and changing his mind to fit the facts and circumstances.

His emotional center is his home life, his wife and children, and his mother. Jupiter in Aquarius in the 12th making a trine to his moon will ultimately be a great benefit, just as the chips look down for him luck strikes and fate helps him along.

All in all he is compassionate, service orientated, humanitarian and extremely intelligent, if this makes him an elitist then we should all be so lucky as to be called this. His excellent aspects make him capable in many ways, not just his general intelligence, ability to understand the working person, his service oriented personality but also he understands finances not just the big picture but the details of the economy. Notice the trine between Saturn in Capricorn in the 12th and Mars in Virgo. He understands what is going on behind the scenes, things we the public do not see and knows how to fix this via legislation, Mars in the 7th in Virgo. It’s no surprise that the top wealthiest among us those in the top one percent fear him because he is not going to be a giant help to them but rather to us, the everyday people who work for a living. He has many enemies in that elite group and it will be no surprise that they will pull out all the stops to make sure he’s not elected including resulting to fear tactics (geared to the naive) which will more than likely be their main focus in trying to take him down. But alas, he does have Jupiter there to save him. So he does have hidden forces who support him and luck on his side.

He will restore our good name in the world and put our economy back on track and with all the Virgo in his chart he will reform health care for the betterment of us in the middle class.

So make sure to vote!

More on the 1929 stock market crash and how it compares to now and the Dow

There was what is referred to by astrologers as a GRAND CROSS going on during the 1929 stock market crash to the Dow’s chart. This Grand Cross was to the Dow’s rising and of course the moon which sits on its rising.

We have seen so much fluctuation in the market now because we have Pluto sitting on the Dow’s moon and is about to cross the threshold of the first house. This aspect is worse than the 29 crash chart. The 29 chart shows harsh times, difficulty and a major adjustment, hard times but this period is indicative of DEATH. And of course in its wake rebirth, but this will take a long time to accomplish, Pluto is a very slow moving planet. We also have another horrifying aspect going on which is similar to the 29 crash and that is the involvement of Uranus bringer of revolution, chaos, rebellion and lightening striking out of the blue. In 1929 Uranus was part of the GRAND CROSS in the current chart it is also part of the equation just as Pluto in 29 was conjuncting Uranus, again another similarity in terms of the planets involved.

Another not so great thing going on is a Saturn return happening in the Dow’s chart. This happens to all of us between the ages of 27 to 30 years old and if you’ve been a good girl or boy, good things manifest, your career takes off but so does your responsability. This is a manifesting aspect, a maturing aspect, making people or entities reap the karma of their past, so if you’ve been bad, it’s not a good time. It’s not uncommon for people who have lived a reckless life to die during this aspect or become very ill or near death.

There are some positive aspects coming up in the next couple of years that will ease the market and after the rebirth could enable the market to be better than before. But these are trines and trines are not fated in the same way squares and conjunctions are, so it’s imperative that everyone get involved politically and demand reform. And as I’ve stated before McCain’s chart would activate the worst possible aspects to the Dow and plummet us into a DEPRESSION here in the US and most likely the world as all markets are connected in our current world.
