Generations Continued… (And kind of answering some readers)

I will get to the financial questions this weekend. I never looked at an exact date for the actual total bottom out of the market just gave a general time frame from the end of December until about the 20th of January because this is when Pluto goes over the Dow’s ascendant. Except for the exact start was December 21, 2008. To me the main message was to get out back in the fall before the first drop hit which was why I started the blog.

But unfortunately I don’t think we’ve seen the end of the free fall, and I will look at other factors that could set off another big scary plunge coming up in January.

As I said before Pluto going over the ascendant of the Dow was going to bring to light some serious scandals, criminal activity going on behind the scenes, and a loss of faith in the market itself because of ethics issues. Maidoff (ironic name) is the biggest, but I doubt he will be the only one to be exposed, and fall.

We are in a time of reckoning. A very karmic time, for those who have been greedy and materialistic they will learn major lessons now. Remember that old quote from the bible, “The meek shall inherit the earth.” We are seeing the beginning of the powerful’s fall and a new respect for those old time values, things you can’t buy like politeness, kindness, caring, empathy and good old thriftiness. It’s about time greed became the disgusting word it always has been.

Enough about that! Let’s talk about generational astrology and the first Gen-X president (barely gen-x but still) President Elect Obama. We will go from the mantel of the “Me” generation to that Uranus/Pluto conjunction (in Obama’s case it’s very loose, and his Uranus is in Leo, so he’s not full tilt, but kind of transitional) in Virgo.

Gen-Xers can be annoyingly idealistic on the bad side, and on the good side they actually really do try to walk their talk, whatever their talk is. They are good for their word. Most grew up in fractured families and were ignored not just by the families, but by the culture at large which had a literal boner for everything sexual. One could not enter a store without seeing statues of naked people humping. It was a very child inappropriate time. A time when being a kid or having one was seen almost as a sad debilitating disease that slowed down not only a chance to get laid and wasted (although being a parent has never stopped people from partaking if they wanted to) but also your chance to explore yourself. You know that ever fascinating Me, that has so many things to express and do.

I found it deeply ironic (that’s the very nice way of putting this) that during the Vietnam war, all war was horrible, when Me’ers were being drafted. Now, I agree war is bad. They were right. But the lame thing was war became good, when it meant cheaper gas in the old Ford 4 wheeler and it was (mostly poor kid) Gen-Xers going to Bagdad, suddenly war wasn’t such a horrible thing.

“We have to protect our interests.” I actually heard old hippies (who had been at one time anti-war) say things like that. It was a major 180. “Don’t trust anyone over 30,” and once they hit their 50s I heard arguments from this generation saying that it wasn’t until people were in their 50s and 60s that they were most productive.

Hey, that’s a coincidence, you’re in your 50s and 60s.

And I won’t say more about this because we all get it just from these few examples. I don’t want to whip them, there are many amazingly good people in this generation, and not all fall victim to these convenient 180s. And not everyone backtracked on their principles, but even those in this generation who are the good eggs agree with me that they, too, have been sorely disappointed by their fellow Me’ers in this regard. Some so disappointed that they have made the mistake of projecting this problem onto all of humanity instead of seeing it as a distinctly Pluto in Leo character trait. Not that they are the only people all of the time, but it is a generational marker. I actually had a history teacher in high school who was a Me’er and he said once, “You can’t change the world. We tried in the 60s and look what good it did. It didn’t make any difference.”

When I pointed out to him that things took time to grow roots, and that a lot of things actually did change for the better because of the activism of the 60s, which we have to give props to the Pluto in Leo people for, they were a big part of this and this is their good side. They can be very generous and trusting. Problem was they kind of got their dreams crushed after the assassination of JFK and MLK and Bobby Kennedy and many of them gave up and went toward the negative side of the Leo tendency, which was pure un-adulterated ego gratification in the form of materialism, greed, self-absorption, an inability to sacrifice the self for the greater good, and using sexuality as an ego pick-me-up.

Ok, let’s get onto the Generation Y which has more in common with the Me’ers, just as Generation X has more in common with children born during the 1990s (I’m not sure they have a name yet so let’s call them Zers). Generation Y has Neptune in Sag, Pluto in Libra, Uranus in either Libra or Scorpio. This period went from about the fall of 1972 until around the fall of 1984. If you were born in 1971-fall 1972, you fall in between Generation X and Y and will have qualities of both. In some cases you maybe an Xer or a Yer depending on your date of birth as the planets retrograded back and forth for about a year.

Y’s were the kids who went to rave’s. They are very social, and with Neptune in Sag, a bit of a lost soul generation. As a group they spent most of their young adult years floating, the economy was good when they came of age, but they grew up in fractured homes. They often just wanted things to be peaceful and hated confrontation.

They also do not have the same obsession with integrity that Gen-X’ers do. They are more bendable and willing to go along with trends, fit in with their generation and are more social, less critical of others and more accepting.

They had a hippie like feel when they were younger and were more akin to the Pluto in Leo types in terms of accepting (and abiding) excess, and had multiple partners where as Gen-X’ers never dated, they have one boyfriend or girlfriend and then moved on to another. They chastised anyone who even tried the multiple boyfriends or girlfriends idea unlike Y’ers or Me’ers. Gen-Xer’s were and are sort of prudish about sexuality unless it falls into the Neptune in Scorpio side of their personality, and has elements of bondage, S & M or a dark thing about it. Even then one could argue the sexual repression built into the X’ers finds a release in the darker side of sexuality and fantasy.

Next I’ll go more into Y’ers  and those born in the 80s, 90s and compare them to the other generations as well…

Best wishes to all.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Denise

The Stock Market…

I don’t want to answer any more questions about the stock market because it is so insane, volatile and ready to explode that it’s really unreadable. I had the strong feeling there would be a foreign economic summit which I alluded to in an earlier post, that would make the markets rally by the mid-end of next week. That is about as close as I can get to a “good” time to move stocks in the immediate future. After that I think it will be so insane that it will be like Friday where the day itself was a microcosm of the meltdown.

In the time it would take to do charts and readings, the market information would become irrelevant. Like I said in early posts, the market is going to be a roller coaster, and it will start to truly bottom out in late December around the 21/22. I’m going to re-post some of what I’ve written because I don’t believe in doing more than one reading about the same subject as the information gets muddy and unreliable:

The following is an old post from September 18 — 11 days before the first meltdown where the dow lost 1.4 trillion dollars. Currently this advice is not valid and you will want to consider the new circumstances. If you haven’t already taken your money out of the market, then you will have to consider each investment individually. Bear that in mind when reading this re-print:

Tsunami Coming!

September 18, 2008 · No Comments

Head for the hills. Seriously. I just looked at the chart of the Dow and there is some horrible stuff coming down the pike. Pluto is going over the Dow’s ascendant connecting with the two lights, sun and moon, opposing Uranus. This is a MAJOR DEATH AND REBIRTH ASPECT. Meaning there will be a DEATH and this in light of the stock market means I’d give it a 99.99 percent chance that there will be a stock market crash unlike anything we’ve ever seen, perhaps worse than the 1929 stock market crash. It is BAD. VERY VERY BAD. Take your money out of the market now before this happens. Protect yourself. Put it in something safe like a CD which is federally insured. Even if you have to wait for your money if the banks start collapsing like dominoes at least you will still get your money.

There will be ups and downs throughout the fall but this HORRIBLE TSUNAMI ASPECT will happen right around the winter solstice aka, December 21/22 depending on the exact timing which I haven’t bothered to check since it’s far enough in the future to tell everyone with certainty just get out. Unless you have lots of money to loose then put your money somewhere safe until the market stabilizes again which will be awhile from now but more on that as I look into that later.

First things first. BEWARE mid-late DECEMBER!

My comment on the September 18th post above:

We’ve started to feel this aspect already so just imagine how bad it will be when it is actually exact!

I have updated and answered a bunch of stock market questions. Just check older entries, chances are that any question you may have will be covered in an earlier post. As I said in a more recent post I do think we are going to have the death side of Pluto now, but I am starting to feel the rebirth side coming, so based on my past experience I’d say the market will be restructured over the next 2 years. Personally, I would wait to invest unless the investment is insanely conservative. I would wait it out for the better part of the next couple of years because there are going to be some dramatic shifts in the way the global economy works and how it is regulated and how we all as a world do business. I do think when it is all done, it will be a stronger, safer, and much more stable world economy. So ultimately this horror we are going through will have a rainbow at the end. Hope that gives some solace in this very crazy, scary time.

Best wishes and good luck.

The Stock Market…

Barack Obama – his chart, who is he?

It’s interesting to see how prevalent the 7th house is in the charts of politicians. As law makers it makes sense being that the 7th house rules courts and justice as well as partnerships, the public and open enemies.

In Barack’s case we see a lot of 7th house action, his mind is defintely occupied with issues of fairness, equality and service. His Leo sun is reigned in by the 6th house of service so any bombast is tempered with his desire to serve coupled with his opposition to Uranus in the 7th and his Aquarius rising he has strong desire to serve humanity.

With his Pluto in the 7th his partner is strong, as we know. And has great influence, as well as Joe Biden will. He takes into consideration other points of view and weighs them heavily in his decision making process.

Moon in Gemini trine his Jupiter gives him a cool emotional demeanor and an understanding of both foreign and domestic people. His childhood would involve a lot of emotional ups and downs and moving quite a bit, this is also public knowledge but is indicated in his chart. His mother was an intellectual and teacher, (Moon in Gemini in the 4th) this created great opportunity for him to grow intellectually as moon trines his Mercury in the 6th. Again he puts his knowledge into serving the greater good. Not surprising he would become a community organizer as his need to serve is strong and taught him a lot about the world and himself.

Mars in Virgo in the 6th again reinforces his desire to play fair and serve others in the process which is probably why he was attracted to law. but the kind of law he was interested in and is interested in is focused on workers and their plight, those that serve others, he identifies with them which is part of his passion to serve.

He has the ability to think outside the box (Aquarius rising) but this is balanced by many factors in his chart which enable him to think in gradations of color as opposed to the black and white world of someone like Sarah Palin who has a proponderance of fixed signs and too much Aquarius in her chart leading her into the realm of magical thinking and the inability to listen to others, this quality often referred derogatorily as “a know it all,” is not present in Barack Obama. His chart is balanced with all the elements and enough mutable signs to offset his fixed sun and rising. He is strong in his convictions without being married to his ideas, able to amend his position to changes that come along when necessary and capable of listening to a good case and changing his mind to fit the facts and circumstances.

His emotional center is his home life, his wife and children, and his mother. Jupiter in Aquarius in the 12th making a trine to his moon will ultimately be a great benefit, just as the chips look down for him luck strikes and fate helps him along.

All in all he is compassionate, service orientated, humanitarian and extremely intelligent, if this makes him an elitist then we should all be so lucky as to be called this. His excellent aspects make him capable in many ways, not just his general intelligence, ability to understand the working person, his service oriented personality but also he understands finances not just the big picture but the details of the economy. Notice the trine between Saturn in Capricorn in the 12th and Mars in Virgo. He understands what is going on behind the scenes, things we the public do not see and knows how to fix this via legislation, Mars in the 7th in Virgo. It’s no surprise that the top wealthiest among us those in the top one percent fear him because he is not going to be a giant help to them but rather to us, the everyday people who work for a living. He has many enemies in that elite group and it will be no surprise that they will pull out all the stops to make sure he’s not elected including resulting to fear tactics (geared to the naive) which will more than likely be their main focus in trying to take him down. But alas, he does have Jupiter there to save him. So he does have hidden forces who support him and luck on his side.

He will restore our good name in the world and put our economy back on track and with all the Virgo in his chart he will reform health care for the betterment of us in the middle class.

So make sure to vote!
