Interesting post Denise and Tina. I’m especially interested in getting your opinion on if you think the internet enhances ones psychic ability or disables it? I feel that people are becoming increasingly psychic and intuitive and I wonder if we will ever reach a point, where everyone just becomes psychic and it becomes a normal ability.

Also on another side note. Do you recommend any books or practices to enhance ones intuition?

I do think people are becoming more psychic. Or at least more open to it. I believe this is due in part to new technologies, more people with access to capturing types of technology – such as video, audio and photo equipment. It has also become OK to share ones experience, people are not just written off as crazy and more people are acknowledging their own brushes with the supernatural as information gets out there about what to look for.

If 2012 is going to be a marker of anything positive, it will be that we are more awakened. There is some very interesting moves technologically that are bringing us closer to opening ourselves up to understanding what is beyond our 5 senses. Some of them have to do with using a sense to trigger other senses, some are theoretical like string theory. All of the breakthroughs science is engaged in are actually prove out the vastness of our multiverse and supporting the notion of an animating force of which we are all a part.

I personally believe this is exactly what God is. It was always my supposition and actually I was literally kicked out of my high school English class – a Great Books style class, when the teacher asked the question, “Is there a God?” My answer to her was perhaps for those who believe there is the experience of God and for those who do not their isn’t. I was going to go on to say that it was my belief that the Universe or God is eternal, without beginning or end and we were all a part of it, some unaware, others conscious when she said, “Either you’re pregnant or you’re not.” My response to this was, “How can you apply physical rules to a supernatural being?” And that was it for me. I was literally told to speak to her after class and not allowed back. I don’t think she’d ever had a student give her an answer that was quantum before. This was many years before quantum theory was really mainstream and I hadn’t even heard of it, and I was a geek who read science magazines and astronomy textbooks, so…

Anyway back to my point, God is not just in the heavens, in a spiritual home/heaven we go back to, but also in all things – all things, like an artist who leaves His/Her mark (I believe God is genderless) on all things, on the very quarks and electrons that make everything possible and I also believe all sentient beings have eternal souls and it is that eternal soul which is a piece of God thrown out (at our choosing) so we may learn, grow and individuate in other words evolve.  At that point we know (but don’t really understand like a that a child) that with this choice will come suffering, despair, pain, love, joy, ecstasy and everything in the middle, yet when we make that decision it is just intellectual we haven’t experienced any of it yet, and that is why we decide to incarnate, to experience all of this – the darkness and light, good and evil so we may find who we are among all the many colors and shades of creation.

As far as getting in touch with your psychic ability there is something that I really want to caution anyone who is interested in exploring this realm about. It is actually a theme I’ve heard repeated now over and over in weird places which is why I bring it up because for me, much of this was dealt with many years ago and I sometimes forget how intense the awakening process is. I experienced it throughout my childhood and young adult life and still continue to do so however I have learned ways to control the worst of it. One quote I heard went something like this, “When one gets closer to God one gets closer to the Devil,” or something like that. What this means is when you open to the divine, within it lies both negative and positive energy. God is neither “good,” nor “evil” God is energy. I believe God at the core of connection, the Creator aspect of God is divine pure love, however in order for us to learn we needed a binary system. And their is a destroyer aspect, some call it the Devil – others yin and yang.

God or our universe was set up with oppositions, light and dark, good and evil, black and white. There are demonic forces without a doubt. I’ve had my run ins with them. They are very frightening. They do not respond to traditional religious spiritual paths, meaning they will not go away by asking for help from Jesus or getting a priest to bless one’s home. The only way to keep them at bay while one is opening to the light is to learn (very rigorously) psychic protection and the best there is, is the lesser pentagram ritual which I have written about on this website. You have to be in control and you must be the one to exorcise them, no one else can really do this for you. It is part of the path, the choosing, facing one’s fears, one’s demons and you must rise above them and cast them out. No other force can do this for you except you can keep them away with the lesser pentagram ritual. I can tell you that as soon as I learned it and performed the ritual in my mind every night before I went to sleep, I have never had another demonic encounter. Even spirits stay outside my home. I often go outside to talk to people who are trying to get a hold of me because the force of this protection is so intense that even benign spirits of people who have passed on can not enter if there is anything less than absolute purity which of course no human being possesses even on the other side.  One has to invite those spirits of ancestors in, sometimes they can come in to protect one, but mostly they don’t disturb the circle. I would first learn this protection before anything else and do the lesser pentagram (just search my site for the words and info, I also have a link to someone doing it on u-tube, you can probably find others who do it as well). And then start with meditation.

One must clear the mind and have control of the mind to tell what is one’s own thought from what one is receiving from elsewhere. It’s a rigorous process of keeping notes often of dreams, patterns, and finding ones own spiritual metaphorical language. It’s worth it. However it is a life long process, many lifetimes long, one that we all will eventually engage in if we are to awaken. I’m just warning you that as you open yourself up, you open yourself up to everything; love, pain, suffering, healing, anger, the dying earth’s energy. It’s not always easy to deal with. I believe this is why I have always had many health problems as this energy overwhelms me at times.

Any type of clearing the mind sort of meditation is the first step. Then find what things you are attracted to. Have you always been fascinated by Buddhism? Or by a statue of Hanuman you saw in a museum? Or perhaps Diana or Jesus, Mohammad, whatever your calling. These are the deepest recesses of your past life work and it’s best to work with the system or pathway you have already been on for many lifetimes. Just find the place in that system that best fits you. Or perhaps you are like me and all those religions call to you in different ways. Well, you can take what you need from them and navigate as best you can through many paths. I think though starting out, it is best to have one path you dedicate yourself to entirely and learn that before opening to other things. I’m not saying one should ever dismiss anything, just commit to one thing so you can find your center and go from there.

Hope that helps.

Best wishes,

Denise

Some Forward Movement on the Dwarf Planets…

Ceres which had once been considered a planet than downgraded to an asteroid has recently (the last couple of years) been put into the planetoid or dwarf planet category. Now it’s been my experience that “dwarf planets” are just as powerful as regular planets. Pluto, now a “dwarf planet” is a major butt kicker and in my humble opinion it’s more of a malefic than Saturn. Saturn will collect his toll but Pluto will put you in the grave if you aren’t paying attention or have unfinished karmic business.

We can be all love and light(y) about the planets and how they all teach us things and really it’s for our own good, but bad stuff does happen in this world. Let’s put it this way Charles Manson had a Scorpio stellium in his 8th house (the Scorpio house, one of the houses of death and the occult) so pretty much everything in Manson’s chart led back to Pluto. And if there was a personification of Pluto here on earth, it would pretty much be him. He was a cult leader, a murderer, a sexual abuser and somehow got kids from the suburbs to become sociopaths. If one wasn’t convinced of the validity of astrology than all one would have to do is be told a few basic things and a copy of Manson’s chart and it would be clear to a 10-year-old child that there was something strange going on between the two things.

So back to my point. I’ve found some interesting things out about Ceres. Ceres appears to rule nurturing, the ability to nurture and being nurtured as well or what nurtures a person. It is my opinion that Ceres is the actual (true) ruler of Virgo and Mercury is the ruler of Gemini. I believe we are figuring this out now because the earth is in desperate need of nurturing and people who have strong Virgo in their charts (that would be anyone born after 1960 until about 1971) would be the harbingers of a major turning point in the energy of the world. Until then we had been an agrarian culture, until about 60 years earlier when we had the industrial revolution, we lived close to the land. We had gone from hunting and gathering (in most parts of the world) to growing our own food and eating it. I still find this idea kind of weird, like eating one’s children – which is probably really weird that I find this weird, but it always has a creepy sort of thing about it, the idea of growing a plant so one can eat from it even though this is often a mutually beneficial relationship, it still weirds me out – which is why I have mint growing and can’t use it and strawberries I can’t find myself eating. I’m a freak what can I say.

Anyway, we went from finding our resources to cultivating our resources – this was a huge change and at that time our bodies actually changed. We evolved. According to some researchers even a new blood type came into being around that time, that blood type is A. Before this, human beings shared one universal blood type (which is why we can all use it when we need a blood transfusion) – O. The negative or positive after the blood type has to do with the RH factor, which is sort of another issue altogether. It’s extremely rare to be RH negative, I think less than one percent of the population has this issue.

Back to my point, I love to go off on tangents : It took 60 years of full on “better living through chemistry” to really screw up the eco system and put mother nature out of whack. It’s my belief that the food movements of the 60s and 70s of returning to a more healthful eating style were just the beginning of a needed revolution in our connection to the earth and our connection to the feminine aspect of ourselves. It’s interesting to note that over the last 30 or so years there have been innumerable sightings of the Virgin Mary on walls, tacos, birth marks, lamp shades etc. not to mention the statues of the Virgin said to be crying blood. Why not Jesus? Why not Saint Joseph? You get the picture. The world seemed in need of some sort of Goddess figure, a return of feminine power – as women’s political and economic power has waxed and waned over history, now it seemed the 3 most powerful and largest religions (all based on the same God Jehovah) had castigated the feminine and relegated all things female into the realm of inferior – so much so that even women believed this and instead of embracing themselves as equal but different an entire generation of women tried to take on the roles of men and dismissed all that was beautiful about being female (I’ll have to write a whole piece on this as this is a giant thing to say in this context and needs clarification but I’ll leave that to later).

Now we have Ceres – the Goddess returning, the nurturer, the Great Mother, the root of the word cereal. She is literally and figuratively the host of humanity, feeding us physically and emotionally as well as spiritually. She is unfortunately one of the only positive Goddess figures assigned to these new dwarf planets. I’ll go into those ladies in a later article.

Ceres in your chart is the place that healing happens, the place that represents how you need to be nurtured and how you nurture others. Mine is in Gemini in the first house, makes sense, eh? Yes, I love to nurture through communication and I’m the person who if behind you in a supermarket line, you would inexplicably feel the need to tell me all your troubles. And I’d listen and actually be really happy to do so. When I found this in my chart I was like, wow, no wonder why this always happens to me and everyone thinks I’m so nurturing and an earth momma. Although, I can tell you I’m really not that at all. I have really no earth (except 2 generational planets) in my chart and one could fly a kite using all the wind I create from my blabbing. I’m so airy and so watery it’s kind of ridiculous.

Now here’s the kind of disturbing thing about the dwarf planet Eris – from the research I’ve done she’s the sister of Aries. She’s the Goddess of strife and discord. She wasn’t invited to one of the Gods royal weddings (between Peleus and Thetis) and as revenge painted an apple gold and through it into the festivities addressed only to “the fairest.” So Hera, Athena and Aphrodite all fought over it. Zeus asked the mortal shepherd Paris to settle the dispute. Supposedly, Aphrodite bribed Paris into picking her by promising to deliver whatever woman he wanted for his bride. He picked the fairest woman of all mortals named Helen, of course, it was due to her abduction by the Gods that the Trojan war began.

As one can plainly see here, the message imbued in the myth of Eris is revenge through the use of trickery and deceit through human frailty such as: vanity, greed, pride, competitiveness and the need for prestige, even being number one (sounds like us, the US). It is the false promise of these things that leads to the downfall of the Gods and a horrible war here on earth. It’s sort of like the use of our own domestic airplanes on 9-11 turned against us, something used for pleasure, business, fun, something generally very safe (it’s the safest form of travel in terms of accidents) used as a weapon of horrible destruction. It was so bizarre and unexpected no one seemed to know what to do on that day, even the slightly mental deficient president or his (literally) heartless VP.  It was around this time that Eris was found and since then the world has been fighting a shadowed enemy among us, one that can not be seen, one that is hidden, crafty and uses our own resources against us.

I have some thoughts now on the other dwarf planets and their significance like Sedna whose limbs were cut off and was thrown into the sea by her father (patriarchy) where she became a sort of protector of the ocean from what I can remember. Now we are dealing with major environmental oceanic issues that will only continue to get worse. I have to study her more and put it together I think though her discovery and the BP disaster are related.

More on Dwarf planets soon…

Keep on praying, keep working on yourself. By lifting yourself up – you lift all of us.

Best to all,

Denise

Clarification, and History…

I wanted to address this comment from Javahaa.

Denise and readers, The two strains that began our nation were not ‘idealism’ and ‘religious zealoutry’. They were, in reverse order of importance, religion and capitalism. The earliest and larger settlements , like Jamestown, were capitalistic ventures, sponsored by specific British companies to seek new sources of revenue. Somehow, _that_ isn’t taught in elementary school. I’m no fan of religious zealoutry, but put blame where it is most due. By far, capitalism was the force behind slavery, not religion, and it was the force behind native genocide/displacement. Religion might have been used to buttress it (just as the money powers used it to dupe working/middle-class christians to start voting GOP in the 80s), but if it had not been an extremely profitable institution, it would have been dropped like a hot potato.

Hi Jahavaha,

I have to say that you are both right and wrong in that of course capatilism and greed are the real motivators behind the evils we have visited on other people and cultures. However if you look at the history of the Christian religion, it is blood soaked. One of the greatest genocides of all time was perpetrated by the Catholic church against “witches” and/or “pagans,” (exchange heathen here) most of these women (which turned out to be aproximitely 25% of all european women) were murdered during the burning times. And lets take the middle ages and the Spanish Inquisition where indescribable torture was visited on “witches,” “pagans,” and “heretics.” Granted the church benefited greatly from stealing the land from wealthy women land owners once their husband’s died and they had no protection and were suddenly pronounced “witches,” but people, the vast majority of people who participated in these atrocities believed they were doing God’s work. So to clarify, the people up top maybe motivated by greed, but the masses who do their bidding are motivated by fear.

And yes, religious zealots are to blame for murdering the “heathen,” Indians. Many if not all were motivated by greed, but they used their religion as an excuse, so I ask you what difference this makes? If a religious idealogy can be warped into a weapon of torture and war, is it truly spiritual? Eastern religions have never been used this way, nor did the “heathen,” Indians, or “pagans,” or “witches,” or anyone before the 3 major western religions popped up. I don’t think this is mere coincidence despite arguing with people who were of those religious persuasions for years, there is something intrinsically wrong with a religion that can be used to defile, destroy, murder, rape and torture others. Here’s what it is: Intolerance.

Yes, that’s right. When one believes that they alone have the only answer and control the only freeway to the Almighty, then arrogance, hypocracy and perversion are born. In all other religions (excluding the 3 major western ones) there is a belief that “all Gods are one,” meaning it doesn’t matter what your God looks like or what your religious system is, it’s all the same at the core and should be respected. Heck, in ancient times it was common for people to incorporate other Gods into their pantheon after visiting foreign lands, hence we have Jesus brought to Rome which is the birth place of the New Testament put together by the Roman emperor Constantine who adopted Christianity for its belief in one God for political reasons.

At the time Rome was split in 2, there was Rome and Constantinople, Constantine wanted a religion that reflected his belief that the state should be one unified body and thus gathered together a group of scholars to look over the letters that different Christian sects used in their house gatherings were they would worship. Each group had a different set of letters and interpretations of Christ. Actually, most of the first home churches were started by women, but anyway, up until Constantine the Christians were considered freaks and persecuted for their belief in just one living God who they claimed was the only way to heaven.

Unusual that the Romans persecuted them because historically this new brand of righteous religious zealot willing to be martyred and eaten by lions for angering the ancient Gods was not done before monotheism was introduced into the culture. Also, there may have been a back lash against the Christians as this religion came up while Rome was going down and some may have felt the old Gods were abandoning them for tolerating this group of people who wanted not just to co-exist with the old ways, but to overthrow the old ways and eliminate the old Gods.

Anyway, Constantine’s scholars actually picked through the different writings attached to the house churches and put together the New Testament. Constantine of course ordered that the Christians stop being persecuted and publicly claimed to become a Christian although it is said that he never actually converted and was heard on his death bed calling to the old Gods. The people whom were closest to Constantine, his soldiers and advisors claimed he had stayed true to his original faith and had used monotheism as a justification for the unification of Rome. It wasn’t long after that Rome entirely fell apart.

In the 1980s papers from the original New Testament were carbon dated at between 50-300 years after the death of Christ. Most thought it closer to 300 years. Even the Catholic church acknowledges this fact. This is significant because even 50 years after His death much of what He did and said would have become legend rather than fact, like playing a really long game of telephone, some of his words and teachings could have been misconstrued, such as that He was the “only son of God,” even the King James version which some have suggested takes liberties with interpretations, He actually never calls himself anything, but the “son of man.”

Since Rome was in desperate need of a saviour and the idea of a living God was very much a part of the culture, this interpretation of Christ’s teachings could be very wrong. Imagine living in a world where the Emperor is a God. Well, some Jewish guy who has some great spiritual ideas really wouldn’t cut it, hence this weird paganization of Christ could have happened. He had to be a living God for that religion to take hold in Rome.

So he may have said he was the only son of God, his Jewish followers may have believed he was the Messiah or just an amazing prophet and wise man, we don’t know for sure because so much of the truth was lost by no one during his lifetime, not him or his immediate flock, writing anything down when it actually happened.

Hope that clarifies things a little.

Best wishes and many blessings,

Denise
