Answering Readers’ Questions…

Hi Everyone!

More questions from readers. I’ll do my best to try and answer them.

patrick

if Hillary becomes the Sec. State, hopefully she will not be excessively distracted by outside drama or personal career plans, etc.

Hi Patrick,

Well, it looks like Hillary is going to take the job, but it won’t be officially announced until after Thanksgiving for some reason. That’s what I heard on the news at least, but you never know.  I can understand your concern about Hillary and drama, the Clinton years were full of that problem and she appeared to be very hawkish when running for president. So let’s see if she will be distracted by outside drama or personal career plans.

The tarot’s answer: Yes. But not so much in terms of her performance on the job.

She’ll be distracted to a degree by her husband. The pattern card comes up. And a man is in the center. It looks like Bill will cause her some personal anguish, the ace of cups reversed is also there. But she has the six of wands, victory in business or career also, so I’m going to say she’ll do a great job, and be an excellent wing woman to Obama, however her husband may have trouble being on the side lines.

I get the feeling Monica wasn’t really the first time she dealt with Bill’s infidelities, and I don’t think it was or is the last. There is a high probability that stuff will get leaked out about other infidelities he’s had, or may have, but I don’t get the feeling it will have much impact on the Obama administration. It will be more of a personal impact on Hillary not so much her job. I think Bill might be a sex addict. I feel bad for her. The worst part is she’ll feel humiliated because of his behavior, and that’s really not fair.

Tobe

Hi Denise,

thanks so much for your blogs. I really enjoy coming back here. You have predicted a stock market “Tsunami” for December. Things are so extremely bad already… how much worse can it get…? Do you see the Dow Jones Index going below 6000 in December…? Also, do you expect Deflation or Inflation in 2009? Are they going to print so much money that the dollar becomes completely worthless and we will finally need a new currency, or o you see the dollar getting stronger, like right now?

Thanks a lot in advance,
your advice is truly appreciated!

Hi Tobe,

I’ll ask the tarot if the Dow will go below 6000.

The answer: Yes

I saw the number 5986 while I was focusing on this question. But I could have flipped some of the numbers. Maybe 5896? I do feel that in the end of Dec/early Jan. we’ll see it get into down into the high 5000 range.

In answer to the second question. My feeling is that because the whole world will be in similar crisis our money by comparison will fluctuate, but not get to the point where we have to use a barrel full of money to buy a gum ball. So I guess we’ll see inflation, but it will be world wide, and our dollar will be nested in about the same place its been for awhile.

It’s kind of like we’re all on the Titanic together, so buying someone’s diamond ring that’s worth two hundred bucks for ten million dollars isn’t going to matter because we’re all sinking. In other words value will have an entirely different meaning within this new context.

I also see a world currency as a direct result of this crazy financial debacle. Once the international banking and market laws go into effect, it very likely will go that way out of ease of use. But I don’t see that happening right away. That’s at least a few years away. At least. And this could change depending on what happens over the next couple of years.

Marie

Thank you in advance for answering my question.

If Obama chooses Hillary for the Sec of State job, will she be a team player and represent him to well or will she be a disappointment to Obama?

Will Gov. Richardson be offered a position in the Obama Administration?

Hi Marie,

I do feel she will be a team player. I have a strong feeling that Hillary is worried this might be the highest office she will be able to attain due to her age and her husband’s notorious past. I really feel her heart is in this, and she will acquiesce to Obama’s policy. The campaign (which started almost immediately after she became a senator in my opinion) was her trying to show how tough she was and invulnerable. This stance ruined her. Both these characteristics are actually more antithetical to her then the public would think.

I feel she played tough for fear of seeming weak, and like someone who isn’t really tough, and doesn’t understand the boundaries, she overplayed this in an effort to be one of the boys. I don’t feel she is truly hawkish. I do feel she played to win according to the rules she had in her head, and didn’t follow her heart. If she had been true to herself she would have ended up being President and Obama VP. But she blew it a long time ago. Pretty much from 9/11 on when it seemed she traded in her true passion for a power pant suit. That being said, I feel we are going to finally get the real Hillary here.

As for Bill Richardson the press has already answered that one. It seems he’s going to be in the new administration as well, which is great. I meant to answer this question sooner because I had a strong feeling Obama would find a place for him but now it’s too late to show my clairvoyant skills off.

Do you think that your dream with Chicago as a target, has any connection to the 2016 bid for Chicago Olympics? Considering that Atlanta was a target, it doesnt seem to unlikely that another Olympics in the US could be a target.

Hi Wings of Grey,

By the way is this an owl reference? I love owls! They are my life long totem animal. Anyway, that’s another story, another post.

I feel Chicago isn’t going to be a target of domestic terrorism earlier then 2016. That was my immediate feeling. Which will be before the olympics, but that’s a good question. It may make Chicago vulnerable again at that time to other attempts.

I asked the tarot and it answered: Maybe.

I’ll have to look into the astrology around that time to glean anything further. But my immediate feeling is Chicago will be a target much earlier then that, and I’m worried about that attempt right now.

Hi Tina,

Thanks for your kind words and for posting this about my book!

malayali

Hello Dennis, why are you avoiding me. I need your help. Please comment regarding NIFTY. Expecting your valuable advice… your friend, malayali

Hi Malayali,

I need you to give the start date of trading of this company, the name of the company, and what market it is traded on so I can run a chart. I thought I had posted this before, but I’m sorry if either I didn’t and thought I did or you missed the post. I’ll be glad to look at it if you give me more info. Sorry for the delay.

Wishing all of you the best!

Here’s a sample of the next bunch of questions:

Hello again. Here is a unique question. When within the next 75 days would you recommend a marriage date for these two people? Born 7/28/56 Chillicothe, Ohio and 8/17/80 Olongapo, Philippines. Any other advise would be appreciated too. Thank you again.

Will Tim Geitner be a good Secretary of Treasury?

Hi Denise I very much appreciate your reply and your time. The psychic advised me in October to hold on to the Australian stocks I hold. One you have answered with Oz minerals. The other is Minara Resources MRE ( Nickel and Colbalt Miner) which began on 17th March 1994. I couldn’t agree more that this crisis is more than fear and although it hurts many of us little people who have become victims of greed and deception, this crisis had to happen because we must come back to real values and respect for each other. Competition, winners and losers, victims and predators are not a healthy way to live and is unsustainable in the long run. May all the things that are good eventually prevail . And the ‘meek inherit the earth. One other question I have, although I like Hilary Clinton I am unsure of her possible position as State Secretary. Do you think if she took on the role would she be able to negotiate peacefully with other nations and create healing with those nations that are angry with America’s previous actions, interference and foreign policy? Thankyou so much

Iris

Hi Denice. This is my first time posting here. I have a question. Have you done any readings on Michelle Obama and Jill Biden? I am interested in getting to know about them and what will they do in the next 4 years.

Thanks!

Iris

Hi Denise,

Can you give me some advise on a couple of mutual funds? I had originally thought that I would just hold them through this – but if it is going to get much worse, perhaps I should sell. I just don’t know how low they will go, or how long it will take for them to recover.

Hi Denise,

I am interested in the stocks for Boeing (BA) and Airbus (EADSY) – how this ecomonic crisis will effect them and should we hold out for the long-term?

Answering Readers’ Questions…

Congratulations to President Barack Obama!!!

Hey everyone, this has been a very emotional day for everyone around the world. We’ve seen the promise of the 60s civil rights movement come full circle and the promise of the American Dream restored! This also bodes well for our economy. John McCain’s chart interacted very badly with the Dow Jones, and as we saw him ahead in the polls by 12 points, the Dow plummeted. This may seem coincidental, but it is actually karmic.

I just want to let you all know that while we are in for some strange economic times ahead, the karma of the Dow, in this current time stream, with Obama as president will be lessoned greatly. I’m going to look at his chart and compare it to the Dow Jones and NASDAQ and do an update about how this new energy will change the economic future of the world. And trust me it will.

This brings me to a point I really feel needs to be made. Some of you have mentioned other psychics, with predictions that stretch 30 or more years into the future — some have asked me to tell me your future. I want to explain something that often is confusing. It is why no psychic can ever be 100% accurate and why if you see a scary prophecy, take it as a warning rather than as an absolute. You have the power to change your life and we, collectively, have the power to change the future.

Time and fate are not fixed. We have free will and our actions, decisions and lessons change the flow of time. There are multiple futures, Einstein talked about this. And it’s true. We have the power to change our lives and the world, but it requires effort. The reason precognitive people can see the future at all, is because most of us are lazy, and once walking down a path are very likely to continue on it. This is a readable time stream. But there is always the opportunity for growth and leaps. We are here to learn.

It is my belief (based on what the spirit world has shown me) that we come back, many times. Our body is temporary, but our soul is immortal. This is how our universe works, we are a microcosm of it. Our universe is binary, divided in halves, chaos and order, light and dark, forward and backward, good and evil, greed and sacrifice, male and female, mortal and immortal. We are all things. We embody all possiblities. We are both good and evil, male and female, greedy and self-sacrificing. Every day we make choices about the path we want to walk. Will it be toward the Oneness of Creation? Or toward the Darkness of Selfishness? Oneness comes through the bright side of ourselves and evolves us — the other path devolves us. We always have that choice, this is what free will is all about.

You will notice that the further into the future a psychic predicts, the more metaphor and nebulous wording they will use. This is because there are too many decisions yet to be made to truly predict with certainty what will take place 30 or a 100 years ahead. They maybe able to see that if the Collective Unconscious stays on the path it is on, 30 years in the future so and so event is likely to occur, but a lot happens in 30 years. A lot of new energy in the form of new people incarnating and the chances of the Collective Unconscious staying the same is very remote; which is why most far future predictions are not usually accurate. Not to say that the person who makes them isn’t extremely gifted and perhaps amazingly accurate in general about the immediate future, just the far future is not really a readable time stream. There are too many variables.

Now you’re saying, but Denise, what about Nostradamus? He was accurate far into the future.

Well, he actually wasn’t reading that far into the future (according to him, his readings were mostly about his time period) and he put his prophecy into quatrains so they have to be interpreted. Now if you take any prophecy written in verse that can be molded to fit any situation and then have an endless amount of time for it to come true… need I say more? It’s like that old thought experiment the “infinite monkey theorem” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinite_monkey_theorem
Psychics and prophecy can be fun and entertaining, even enlightening, but we all have to take it with a grain of salt. No psychic is omniscient. And a lot of psychics prophecy scary things to get attention, to get noticed. Of course there are scary things in this world, but unless a psychic shows a proven record of being accurate, one should be skeptical. Even if a psychic does show a record of being accurate, skepticisim is required. Because no psychic is ever right 100% of the time! Basically, don’t substitute a psychic premonition or prediction for your own judgment.

I went through my list of predictions about the election and I was mostly right, but I got Arizona and Colorado wrong. Colorado went blue and Arizona red which makes more sense. Also I’m not sure if Prop 8 will pass or not, it looks like it might. And the cards said it would be defeated. So, there you go. If I were to grade my predictions so far on the blog, I’d say B+ or A- but it’s not perfect. And that’s the way it is with psychics.

We have our own logic to contend with (which distorts psychic information) our own bias, and desire, and it gets in the way of reading sometimes. For example I am very pro marriage for everyone. I have personally performed marriages for many gay and straight couples (I’m a licensed minister) and believe all people should have the right to have a family, a partner and love whomever they love. I believe people come in all varieties for a reason, and its not our place to judge or decide who has rights and who doesn’t. We all should have the same rights, be equal under the law, as we are equal in the eyes of the Creator. So that could be why I got the prediction about prop 8 wrong (as I’m writing this it’s still to close to call, but is leaning toward overturning gay marriage here in CA). This is because I’m human. And my feeling is passionate about this issue and potentially got in the way of my ability to be read the issue properly.

I was so proud of CA when we passed the law allowing gay people the right to vote, and so hopeful that I guess I didn’t want to feel the disgusting back lash of judgmental busy bodies who scared voters into repealing the law. Now hopefully this won’t happen. The cards said it would be narrowly defeated, and this is still possible. I’m crossing my fingers. But also the vote Yes on 8 people assaulted the air waves the last couple of days and confused people. I have a gay friend who told me to vote Yes on 8 because he was so confused because the amendment is a double negative sort of thing. Anyway, enough about that.

I just want to thank all of you for participating in this historic day and for doing your part in making the world a better place. For changing the time stream from an oncoming Depression and WWIII to a period of struggle that could ultimately unite humanity and heal our world.

I am proud of America today. We rose to our greater good. We stepped out of the shadow self of greed and chose to see beyond color to the goodness, inspiration and hope Barack Obama engenders.

Pat yourself on the back. You deserve it!

Many blessing to all of you.

(I will answer readers questions again tomorrow. Sorry, it’s been a long emotional day. So if you have posted a question check the blog tomorrow for an answer.)

Congratulations to President Barack Obama!!!

Answering Readers Questions…

The first question comes from Aymon:

aymon

so what we’ll be seeing in dec will be worst than what we’re seeing recently from sept to october?

Unfortunately, yes. I do get the feeling that over the next couple of years some major changes in how the markets work both here and internationally, along with some sort of restructuring and some new laws, will make the global economy stronger and less vulnerable to future problems. But it will get worse before it gets better.

The aspect that set this chain off will go exact in December, so there will be as I said in the post, a tsunami.

I used that metaphor because in a tsunami, at first you’re not sure what is happening, the ocean recedes, looks strange, but it doesn’t seem so bad, then all of a sudden your drowning. And just as it seems to be over, the water pours out again. So that is how I saw it playing out. It’s almost as if it’s not really happening, very surreal.

I’m going to post, the Dow, NASDAQ, The US Constitution and the US Constitution’s signing chart so you can follow what I’m saying. If anyone is interested I have some basic astrological information, for novices on another blog, it’s url is: http://astrologybasics.wordpress.com if you want to ask astrological questions you can post your questions there and I’ll answer them.

Anyway here are the charts with some interpretation to follow:

Looking at the Dow’s chart we’ll see the start of a downward spiral happening more behind the scenes (like it has been) then in our faces. But once Pluto crosses the ascendant in late January 09, we will really see the effects of what has been happening. Right now this Pluto aspect is going through the 12th house and although we’re seeing it, we’re not really seeing it yet. It’s not clear what all of this means and there is a lot of illusion and delusion about the stock market. But come late January we are going to be smacked in the face and it will directly start effecting us.

My intuition is that we will see a many more companies go under, a lot more job loss/unemployment, a significant hit for retail stores — many of them will go out of business, and so many other companies are going to fall. We will also start to see a sharp rise in homelessness.

There are a lot of factors at play here. In the US Constitution’s chart Pluto will be crossing the 7th house around March of 09, making our allies more vulnerable to economic turbulence than they have already felt. But around the same time Pluto makes the horrible aspect to the Dow it also inconjuncts Uranus in the second house of work, which makes me feel there will be a tie in to major job losses, and it will be sudden, out of the blue — so some industries that seem invulnerable right now will get hit. Pluto is also squaring the US Constitution’s part of fortune in Libra in the 4th house, again causing turbulence in the housing market. More people will loose their homes, and right now we are seeing a credit freeze in that area, this aspect will get worse in late November and into December.

This whole thing is a giant mess. The more I look at all the charts the crazier it looks. Also Uranus will make an exact conjunction to the natal US Constitution’s chart’s Mercury which rules the 4th house. I worry a bit about another terrorist attack during this time period (March of 09). We are really in for some strange times.

But I also feel we are going to turn this around and find hope, courage and a great lesson in all of this. This will be a defining moment in American history for a bunch of reasons and I have an intense feeling most of us will rise to the challenge and it will bring out the best in us, and we will turn things around for the better. It may even wake us up about other issues such as global warming which really threaten the habitability of our planet, and makes our current problem small in comparison.

So perhaps we needed this wake up call to get us all involved, engaged and thinking again, rather then checking out — something I feel we have been doing for a long time now. Hopefully, we will all learn that politics are important — the workings of which have a direct effect on our personal lives. Something we forgot when things seemed to be working OK.

We forgot the lessons of our ancestors who lived through horrible things, fought with their lives to not just give us our freedom, but to insure people would get paid a fair wage, and not be exploited. This is why unions were set up. Before their invention, our country was very much like China or Dickinsonian England where children worked 16 hour days for practically nothing, and no matter how hard a person tried they couldn’t make ends meet unless they came from the upper classes.

We forgot that people died putting those unions together to make life better for generations to come, only for Republicans to sell us on the notion that unions just took money and did nothing. Granted, unions got fat and lazy, and not all of them lived up to their original glory. But without them or regulations or without all of us banning together by voting for our own interests instead of lobbyists controlling Washington — we are nothing. We are not a democracy, we are a corporate plutocracy. Nothing could have made that point more clear then what happened during the last two election cycles. Special interests and corporations had gained so much power while we were busy playing with our blackberries, that we hardly noticed they had bought the Republican party, sold it to the working poor via FOX News (Rupert Murdoch) and then had a coo that we paid for.

But their party is over! That is the good news. We will pay the price for their greed and our laziness. But we will learn and will have the opportunity to truly be the great country we were meant to be.

So vote, get involved and stay involved. We can’t let this happen again. The next few years are going to be hard for all of us, but we can change it. We can learn from this, and if we stick together, and help one another, we will never be stronger.

Best wishes and blessings.

Americhrist Chapter 2.

             Chapter 2 – Sleepless Night

              (2044, January through June)

Gale force winds and thunder, garbage cans crashing over, objects slamming into walls and fences, and Ira slept through all of it like a kitten cuddling at his mother’s breast. But not me. My mind and heart were on fire.

Chi followed me, meowing for treats. It was cold downstairs. The angry wind forced its way between door and window cracks. I grabbed Ira’s ratty old sweater. The first present I had given him. It was the only thing left from that period of his life, perhaps a small reminder of how far he’d come since the penitentiary. I barely knew him then. We had dated about a year. He told me he worked for an internet research corporation, a consumer watch dog group that kept an eye on the defense department, it had some crazy name I forcibly forgot.

There was never any question. I was instantly in love and hopelessly naive about human nature. Turned out he was part of a watch dog group of hackers who stole classified information and sold it to reporters for a premium. To him it was noble, the people had a right to know and he had a right to make a living. Really, it was closest to intellectual prostitution although he saw himself as a twenty first century Robyn Hood. He could have been building something great instead of hunting down and exploiting government weakness. But who was I to judge? I knew his heart was good and his intentions were pure. And I loved him. He loved me. So I waited.

We avoided talking about it. And if we had to refer to that period there was a code, words that lessened the pain or importance for both of us. Anything to make it less real than it was. Usually if I referred to it, I said, “when you lived in the country.” He usually said, “during that time.”

When I was hired at Digibio, they ran a background check. Nothing came up in the preliminary. A month later they revoked access to anything but the chlorophyll research lab and the cafeteria. But it didn’t really bother me.

The tea kettle was singing. Only one bag of Chamomile left, hopefully it would help put me in a coma. And I could wake tomorrow discovering it had all been just a horrible nightmare.

The lights browned. The drawer had only three emergency candles left from the previous storm which ended two weeks prior. It had lasted thirty five days straight and the power had consistently gone out during peak hours. According to the weather man another hurricane was due to hit North Carolina. But other than historic value there was nothing there. Both Carolinas were dead, the states didn’t have money for scrims and except for folklore about people surviving off the land in the forest, there wasn’t a soul within a hundred miles of New York or D.C. And now all that was left was D.C. There were reports of a smattering of survivors in Seattle but the numbers were low.

I walked to the sofa and stared out the window, drinking tea. Chi sat on my lap. The rain was fierce and reminded me of New York, in my mother’s old brownstone. There had been a very bad storm when I was ten. We had both woken for different reasons. The thunder and lightening had cast shadows of monsters  on the wall scaring me out of the room. While Mom contended with a real beast. She was setting out buckets all over the living room to catch the water oozing out of the fissures and cracks in the ceiling. Later I found out she had been afraid the whole damn roof was going to cave in on us, but at the time she pretended it was a game. A fun thing to do together. She had me searching for bowls, buckets, and hats until each little fissure was represented by its counterpart on the worn hardwood floor. And when a bucket would fill, she would grab one of the mongrel cups or bowls from my loot while pouring the buckets contents into the kitchen sink and then dutifully replacing them.

But even though she presented a calm rational exterior I knew something was very wrong. And I remember admiring her. She was fearless, capable and godlike. Nothing could harm me with her protection. She was able to keep the world away with her brilliant mind and convert anyone in her circle of influence to her point of view.

But that night I saw panic when she didn’t know I was watching. It was complicated seeing it and not wanting to see it. So I chose to believe the buckets were a game, knowing it was a protective lie. A lie affirming her love for me.

The street lights flickered in the rain. Some of the UV scrims down the block looked as though they had been sliced by a colossal box cutter. They flapped in the wind like serpent shaped kites.

D.C. was tolerable. It was cleaner than New York and had a much more reliable and quick acting body pick up service unlike the Corner Hut Drop Off Centers of New York, which were always teeming with mutant flies and reeked of decaying flesh no matter how often the workers cleaned them out. It was an ineffectual system and a health hazard. But you hardly ever saw the dead on the streets like you did here in D.C., even if they didn’t stay long on the walk ways you were still confronted with them daily. Maybe it was a bit healthier but I preferred New York. It felt more like an old city, with people doing all different sorts of things besides just working for the government or on some government related project. More than anything it was my connection to a personal history I missed. Even if New York barely resembled the one of my youth. Even if it never snowed anymore and the winters felt like warm fall days from childhood. I knew it. Somewhere under its fading, wilting petals the stem was the same.

And despite the elaborate scrim maze providing the best UV protection in the world (or so we were told by our government) I had preferred shabby New York. If only I could have gotten my mother to move. But that was like asking lead to turn into gold. And even though it got tiresome always wearing a protection suit or carry a UV umbrella or coating my skin with titanium dioxide which made me and my mom break out like hormonal teenagers if we so much as looked at the stuff, she would hear nothing of the virtues of my new city. She desperately loved all that was left of New York.

On the steps of the apartment building across the street a black shape moved. It was big enough to be a person but could have been a box or a piece of furniture left out for trash pick-up which had caught in the gale force wind, but most likely it was one of the infected. A crack of lightening lit the street clearly and I saw the woman. Skeleton Plague. Aptly named for the visual state it left its victims in – their skin and fat tissues were literally cannibalized by their bodies immune system and the results were a horrifying sight – skin turned paper white, taught and veiny, held up by the jagged tent poles of their bones.

The government said Skeleton Plague was communicable, but it was an auto immune disease. The scientific community was still debating its genesis and treat-ability, but that was it. We knew something was turning white blood cells into cannibalistic machines, whether it was UV-B, UV-A rays or some other solar radiation mixed with pollution was the only question. There was always a new outbreak during solar flares and there had never been any evidence of it being contagious, but people were afraid and the CDC had decided early on it was best to treat it like all the other plagues that had come down the pike and keep its victims quarantined. Those that got it generally spent a lot of time outside and didn’t alter their behavior during solar flare warnings or relied only on the city scrims to protect them. The woman had probably escaped from quarantine in a vein attempt to see her family one last time, but they wouldn’t open the door for her.

In the next crack of lightening I saw her convulsing. She was in the last throws of life. I called the health department and a few minutes later I saw a hazmat team take her body away. No fanfare, no ceremony. Life reduced to inconvenient garbage. It hadn’t always been like that. I could almost remember a different time. Mom told me crazy stories about her childhood and what seemed like an Edenic period at the turn of the century. I never really believed her until I was in college and studied history.

When I first started dating Ira I brought him to Columbia to meet my mom for lunch. We decided to stay afterward to see a documentary she was showing for her sociology class. Ira and I both burst into laughter after just a few minutes of the film. It looked so ridiculously naive, there biggest worry was crime. What was it? A thousand people dying a year from gun violence? Something remarkable like that. I couldn’t believe it was real and mom nearly kicked us out because some of the supposedly “shocking” statistics being thrown out about the death rate and natural disaster escalation seemed like a statistic seen on one good day in 2040. A year? It was so shocking I was surprised the rest of the class wasn’t rolling on the floor in stitches. But mom didn’t agree and it took a while for Ira to live down the incident and make up for his “insensitive behavior.” I had been the one making all the noise but, being her daughter, it was OK for me.

His saving grave was his Jewishness. No way mother would have forgiven him if he were a gentile. Not that she was religious. Try the exact opposite. She passionately hated any and all organized religions and poo-pooed all forms of spirituality. So the emphasis on being Jewish always struck me as bizarre. She explained her obsession as a desire to keep the genetic lineage alive. Why that was important in my case was silly since I couldn’t bare children, nor could more than half of all New Yorkers due to our parents and our own, radiation or UV exposure, but she kept her hopes up.

When I was a teenager my rebellious phase included going to temple with my orthodox friend Rachael. You’d think I was found plotting to kill the Pope. Even then she probably wouldn’t have been so angry because she hated the Pope as much as all religious leaders, to her they were devils poisoning minds and using fear to enslave the masses. I got a six hour lecture on the first day about the evils of organized religion and a history lesson about the estimated quarter of the women’s population of Europe who were brutally murdered by the Catholic church during the Dark Ages. The next day was a four-hour lecture on the raping, killing and pillaging of the matriarchal temples of the original Jewish people (the temples were dedicated to Astarte and later, in an obvious political move, she was turned into the demon Astoreth in the bible) by the followers of Jehovah who later became modern Jews. Then came the lecture about the slaughter of Christians and Jews by Muslims and the rise of terrorism in the Middle East at the turn of the century where tens of thousands were murdered in God’s name. She was sure to point out the irony that they were all fighting over the same God, Jehovah simply called a different name by each of the three major western religions.

The next week was devoted to, the Hindus and other “Pagan” religions who didn’t fight over the politics or names of Gods because to them, “all Gods are one,” so she told me if I was going to study any religion the only kind in her opinion worth its salt were the shamanistic traditions of either old Europe or the Americas. But as far as she knew all those teachings had been wiped out by genocide and political warfare. So being a shaman was a dangerous business and she didn’t condone that either. Best to stay with science, the functional universe and the now. Religion was too messy, spirituality too dodgy and philosophy too abstract to be useful. These feelings Miriam claimed came from studying sociology. But I don’t think the cause of religion was helped when her father the Rabbi walked out on her orthodox mother who later denounced Jehovah as a God who only cared for selfish men.

So in my family God was a dirty word used to divide families and punish mothers. I couldn’t help picking up a distaste for Him after watching my favorite biology professor’s research project shut down by the university because of pressure from Jessie and Sandy Applegates, Wrath of God, inc. Biological waste was used in some of the experiments and this meant there was some fetal tissue. Hordes of Fundamentalist Christian zealots picketed and screamed for months on Campus. The University had been pretty good about ignoring them until one of them strapped a bomb to his back and blew up the lab.

The Wrath of God, inc. denounced the suicide bomber once the University slapped a lawsuit on them and of course they weaseled out of it because they practically owned the U.S. They were the biggest religion in the world, what was left of it anyway. My mother called them, “a twisted Hip-Hop carnival of Christ.” They made me sick and if mom wasn’t enough to turn me against religion, their very existence, shut, locked and buried any religious curiosity in me.

The First question comes from Carl:

Thanks so much for your insight. I really enjoy coming back here every couple days. It would be very interesting to see your own birth chart. Is there any indication in a birth chart that shows “psychic” talents. I heard that individuals with a sun in the 12th house tend to be highly sensitive…

Anyway… Thanks a lot,

Carl

Hi Carl,

Thank you for your post.

I have a Grand Water Trine with in a Kite formation with Uranus Pluto and three planets in Pisces. My Sun and Moon are conjunct in Aquarius. Uranus (the ruler of my sun and moon) is conjunct Pluto (the occult). Ironically, my birth time was inaccurate, so for years I could never time anything in my chart. I have recently rectified it. My rising is early Gemini and my Mercury and Venus are conjunct in Pisces. If you look at my whole chart the chart flavor is Pisces. Pisces rules the 12th house so you’re not far off! I suppose the air helps give me some analytical ability as well. My birth date and time is: 2-9-1967 at 11:22 AM in Chicago, Illinois. I have no fire at all in my chart. And very little earth. This is probably why I am not very coordinated!

The next question is from Tckal:

Hi Denise: Your psychic abilities are very accurate. Thank you for your posts…I read them everyday…they give me hope. I was wondering if you could answer this question for me. Since Sarah Palin has declined to release her medical records, could this be that she has something to hide…like perhaps that 5th child isn’t really hers? Since she has lied about almost everything that has come out of her mouth, I can believe she would do something like this. Thank you.

Hi Tckal,

I’ve wondered this myself. At first I didn’t think much of it because its more common for a woman of her age to give birth to a Downs Syndrome baby. But after reading an article about her “pregnancy,” and seeing the time line, which looked impossible, I began to wonder. Having been pregnant myself, I really don’t think anyone could be on labor during an 8 hour airplane ride without anyone noticing. Or after having 4 kids, to be 7th months pregnant and not show. I think that is medically impossible. So I’ll ask the tarot as there’s really no other way to determine this.

The question to the tarot: Is Trig Palin, Sarah Palin’s naturally born child?

The cards say: Yes.

But it looks like she wasn’t sure what she was going to do about it which is why she didn’t tell anyone for a long time. Seems she wasn’t sure she could handle a special needs child. It looks like Todd actually made the decision to keep the child. He was what convinced her to keep the baby. She was worried it would interfere with her work and that it would emotionally overwhelm her, which doesn’t make her a bad person in fact it seems normal to worry about caring for a special needs child.

My mother  made an interesting point which I think she’s probably right about. Sarah Palin went into labor in Texas and decided to fly all the way back to Alaska to have her child, the reason? Certainly, she was not thinking about her health or the health of the baby. Was it because she’s a secessionist and the child would have to be born on Alaskan soil to stay true to her movement? That made sense to me. I’ll have to look into that later.

I will answer the next bunch of questions later tonight. Here they are:

Marie

These new attacks on Obama by the McCain/Palin calling him a socialist, what impact if an will they have on people voting for Obama? Did General Powell (Ret) help with voters?
Thank you!

RE: TSX, sorry about that, forgot to send that info. I believe it is October 25, 1861 (www.tsx.com/en/pdf/TSXHistory.pdf). If that does not help, RIMM is Canadian but should also be in your US database. Actually, our election just happened Oct 14th. Conservatives won. (4 year term). I have already lost a significant amount of life savings – can not imagine even more loss in a Dec crash. I think we may already had our crash and hope to get some of the money back soon. Thanks again. Have a good one.

Saving the Economy…

As I said in an earlier post we are seeing the tip of the iceberg in terms of the financial crisis. I was heartened to hear that congress was working in bipartisan fashion to solve this problem. Obviously, the Bush administrations plan of no oversight is not a good idea, but we do need to do something about this impending disaster.

But my panic light went on today when talks broke down after McCain showed up, not that he was solely responsible, but he did use the crisis to try to look like a hero when he clearly doesn’t have any answers or even knowledge of what’s going on. As I said in an earlier post McCain would plunge this country and the world into the worst depression ever (based on his aspects to the Dow Jones, and of course now that the world is interlinked all the markets would crash) and this couldn’t be more illuminated in just his slightest touch of involvement unraveling the talks. According to reports coming out McCain had nothing to say at the meeting, but obviously tried to use it politically.

And by the way the Republicans have caused this mess — a free market without rules isn’t free. Deregulation is what caused this. Deregulation or no regulation is China’s case has doesn’t work. We put regulations in place for formula after babies started dying when formula companies watered milk down. Babies died of malnutrition in this country, the US. This is exactly what happened in China just recently, but instead of water they used melamine to try to falsely boost the protein levels in tests.

Regulations are laws — like us the normal everyday citizens have to abide by, such as you can’t kill, steal or rape someone. No regulation is akin to abolishing punishment for criminals. Companies policing themselves has never worked, because it is not in their best interest, as we are seeing in this banking debacle.

So all of you who think the market will correct itself, that deregulation is good for the economy — here’s the result: global DEPRESSION! It may have worked in the short term for companys to be able to gobble each other up. We’ve seen the melt down of the music industry partially from this cannibalistic approach. That’s a whole other story and another article if anyone is interested.

But its safe to say cutting off all the arteries to your heart will eventually kill you.

What is going on with John McCain? the Tarot Answers…

He is now aware that Sarah Palin is a liability. He’s in over his head with the economic crisis. According to the tarot he has checked out, and is deeply afraid of losing. With the tower at the root of his problem it looks like something disastrous really rattled him, we know about the economic crisis but he’s not being entirely upfront as he has the seven of swords reversed in his place of advantage, meaning he’s lying about something. It looks like a combination of things are happening. He’s trying to better position himself politically and thinks this will change the tide of his down turn, but the public is losing confidence in him. I really think the tower card in his case was also news that he is sick. I wrote an earlier post about how his health did not look good according to his astrological chart.

A part of me wonders if he realizes he might not make it long into his presidency and is freaking out because he realizes he’s put the country in a precarious position by nominating Sarah Palin — a woman he barely knew and as he’s getting to know her, he’s lost confidence and doesn’t believe she could take over. Plus his legacy would be: that of the guy who died in office after impulsively selecting a running mate, who would be legendary in how terrible she governed.

Maybe for McCain just being the Republican candidate is enough. I’m beginning to wonder if his subconscious is at war with his conscious mind — a part of him doesn’t really want the job, but just the glory. Perhaps this is why he is being so erratic and impulsive. He’s operating more like a guy in a war, jumping into a fox hole for cover in a crisis, than like a leader.

In an earlier post I looked at McCain’s chart in relationship to the economic crisis, and the economy in general. It looked like cyanide to our economy which we really don’t need right now. So far it looks like his visit to Washington actually set back plans for a bail out. There was bipartisan agreement and they were working out details when McCain showed up. Harry Reed suggested he babbled incoherently during the last few minutes of the meeting and no one understood what he was talking about.

There are so many missteps in the McCain campaign what Chris Mathews calls “razzle dazzle,” do something crazy to take the heat off when something negative comes up about McCain or Palin. But I think it’s more insane than that. I really don’t think he can handle the stress and is really not cut out to be a leader. He freaks out under pressure and acts irrationally which is a very dangerous quality in a president. I wonder if “Maverick,” isn’t polite code for crazy like in the old days when they called crazy millionaires eccentric.

I really think the whole issue with why he doesn’t want to attend the debate is many fold, but here are some of the key points.

1) He doesn’t want to answer questions about the economy. He doesn’t fully get what’s going on and knows it. He hasn’t had time to cram for that which was supposed to be a later debate, but with it being so prevalent in the press, it will get brought up.

2) It’s all about him. He’s acting as if he’s already won the election — he’s narcissitic and is holding the US hostage while he can, trying to gain as much attention as he can while he can.

3) He’s afraid Obama will run verbal circles around him and he’ll come off looking like a doddering idiot.

4) A part of him is self-destructive because he knows he’s really not capable of becoming president and is throwing a monkey wrench in his campaign like he did by nominating Sarah Palin without vetting her.

5) He’s having a fight or flight reaction and can’t control himself emotionally.
