The upcoming election Romney Vs. Obama

A friend asked if I would look at the upcoming election via astrology. I’ve already posted what I was told about the situation when Newt Gingrich was being lauded as the shoo in for the Republican candidacy. What I was told so far has born out that Romney would win the spot and that it would be a very tight race between Obama and Romney.

So just to double-check with the stars I checked out the lead up and the actual election day with their basic charts. Here’s the thing. It was as I was told – a NAIL BITER! If you care at all about the future of the US you HAVE TO VOTE this COMING ELECTION!

Here’s what I saw in the fall leading up to the election Romney would get a slight advantage. It might even look like he will or could win. He may even lead in the poles but on the day of the election Obama has enough of an astrological edge to beat out Romney.

I know a lot of people have been disappointed by Obama but the Obama we wanted to step up will have a much better shot if we not only give him the tools to do so – like a majority of Democrats in Congress but also he needs to communicate what he’s doing to help our economy. The thing is. He actually has helped it. We’ve averted bread lines and complete collapse that would otherwise have come our way but we are not out of the woods here and I don’t want to go too negative on Romney but the truth is the man was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and his job was created from a legal loop-hole that Reagan put in place. He loves firing people, thing is he’s never known what living on the edge is like and has no compassion for the common person. To be totally and completely straight here his chart terrifies me more than any other Republican I’ve ever seen. If you want to live in a 3rd world country (which has been the plan of the wealthy oligarchs for the past 40 years working and eroding every American institution put in place to level the playing field for all) then vote for Romney. He will be the nail on the coffin. And we will be living in a country where the middle-class and upper middle-class disintegrate and the wealthy go back to their Feudal roots.

And no offense to Mormons – there is nothing wrong with their religion, however if those people on the right actually investigated the beliefs of Mormons they would realize it has more in common with Scientology than it does with any other form of Christianity. I don’t judge people’s religion, everyone has their path to the creator. I do guarantee that Mormonism would deeply disturb Born Again Christians and Evangelicals if they bothered to do even the most cursory research.

Obama’s spiritual belief system is far more akin to the norm of most American citizens than Romney’s, again I’m no one to judge as I’m far from the norm but it is something that those who hold their religious principles dear should consider. If one looks into the history of the Mormons and into their belief system it has more in common with what Evangelicals would call the “occult” than it does with anything else. Again I have no problem with that, in fact I investigated the religion in high school because I found it fascinating but it’s ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DEGREES LEFT of the RELIGIOUS RIGHT.

In Romney’s case it’s not his religion I have a problem with, its him. I think this man is about as in touch with the rest of us as whales are with Mount Everest.

Obama & Flu Be Gone

I didn’t want to be too hard on Obama. But I really don’t think keeping the statis quo as it has been for the past 30 years is the right way to go. We are in this horrible mess because we need to truly change, destroy and rebuild our system. There are too many old bones rattling around slowing down the wheels of progress, too much power that corporations have and too much reliance on corporate self-policing.

Obama just needs to get in there and do some serious butt kicking the way old FDR did it back in the day. Granted Obama has more hurdles and a country ill informed, and the vast majority of Americans who don’t even understand the basics of the economy well enough to know they are being swindled and lied to by FOX news inc. and as someone mentioned the big start of all this happened during the Reagan administration, when double speak and calling the conservative corporate media “the liberal media” started and all kinds of saying the opposite of the truth to cover the truth began.

Obama has a huge (and rather terrifying) job of reforming a dying beast in front of him. He is an amazing and erudite man, gentile and compassionate. These are all great qualities which I respect in him. I just want him to feel free to be a warrior on behalf of our country and do what needs to be done by disassembling the corporatocracy and re-instating the democracy we are supposed to be.

Hey, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’m finally over the flu despite being barfed on twice this weekend by my lovely little daughter.

Obama & Flu Be Gone

One Of Those Weeks…

It’s been one of those nutty weeks trying to catch up and of course my baby got sick which means late nights and interrupted sleep.

I was glad to see that Arlene Specter moved away from the party of nut jobbers (now at just 20% of the country calling themselves Republican since they have successfully collapsed the big tent) and with the obvious yet pathetic (on the part of his Republican adversary) attempt at keeping Al Franken from his rightful place in the Senate, but he’ll be vindicated soon, this puts the Dems at the exact 60 seats I predicted and as I said in the prediction last October it would be a squeaker. And boy was it. I was kind of shocked at the accuracy of that prediction when Specter announced his change of party. 

And I’m going to toot my own horn here again and say that Obama has been doing an amazing job with the economy. As it turns out the stats are in that since he’s taken office the economy is in the process of doing a 180 and there are some economists who feel the recession maybe over as early as this summer. Pretty amazing. I would be cautiously optomistic about that one, but I do feel we will really truly be recovered in the next couple of years. The unemployment rate is preey outrageous here in California but then again we have a Republican robot Governator so what did we expect? My mother used to say that Republicans were known for their excellent foreign policy and Democrats for their domestic work. As it turns out Republican leadership isn’t good at either! Not this brand of crazy, neo-con nut-jobbers.

And has anyone noticed that the press (I noticed on my local Fox affiliate and have heard it a few other places as well) that President Obama is often referred to as Mr. Obama? I can’t think of any other sitting president who was referred to as Mr. Is this some weird kind of racism, just like the FOX news freak out about Obama showing respect for a foreign Saudi leader instead of holding hands and skipping toward photographers for a photo op. Sometimes I really think George W. had some kind of serious intellectual deficit. I think he may turn out to be our first and only mentally handicapped president. Actually, that’s an insult the mentally handicapped who are often amazingly kind and gifted people in other ways. George was certainly not that. Thank God he’s gone!!!!

One Of Those Weeks…

In Memory of Duane Jarvis & Our Broken Health Care System

On April 1st we learned a 51 year old friend, Duane Jarvis, died of colon cancer. I knew him for years before his girlfriend told me he had a terrible, painful case of scoliosis and had spent much of his life in bad health and in pain. Yet, he was a gentle and sweet spirit who relished life and took every opportunity to be and do what his heart dictated. About eighteen months ago he was diagnosed with colon cancer. We found this out because his ex-wife in an effort to help him sent out e-mails to all his friends to help him with his mounting medical bills.

Now this man was no slouch. He worked all his life as a professional musician. But of course being a musician is not like working at Starbucks, there are no 401k plans with health and dental added. Yet, he contributed to the lineage of art so many of us love. He was Lucinda Williams guitar player and co-wrote some songs with her, played with Frank Black, Dwight Yoakam, Dave Alvin, John Prine, Michelle Shocked and many more. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/music_blog/2009/03/duane-jarvis-in.html  http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/music_blog/2009/04/duane-jarvis-dies-at-51-la-roots-music-singersongwriter-and-guitarist.html  One could say he made his mark in the music world and on all who knew him. Yet because the life of an artist is feast or famine, up, down and a hustle, he did not have adequate health care. And I’m sure with his medical history even if he wanted to purchase it, it would have been out of his ability to pay for it.

His friends pitched in to help save his life. But he lost his battle at 1:30 in the morning at a hospice with an ocean view, with a smile on his face. He never complained about his pain, his disease or his troubles.

Not only was this poor man fighting a horrible, painful, aggressive form of cancer, he had to worry about the financial cost to him and the loved ones he knew he would leave behind. It has been proven that cancer is made worse by stress and chances are good that if he had good medical care to begin with his colon cancer never would have gotten so out of control, claiming his life at the early age of 51.

For all out there who still believe each one of us should think only of ourselves, and not come together as a nation and take care of each other through a universal healthcare system, I ask do you listen to music? Do you read books, enjoy art, read magazines, watch movies or enjoy any form of art as a release, a way to wind down to reflect on your life in a different way? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then I’d like to burst your illusion that those in the arts, even the people you on the outside would deem successful, have the financial stability to pay for their healthcare. Yet we all enjoy the fruits of their work. Art attunes us with our soul, the universe, God, our spirit and each other. It aides compassion, encourages self-reflection and produces self-discovery. It is actually one of the only things we as Americans still make and export. Yet for more than 90% of professional artists of all kinds there is no safety net in this country (unlike other democratic, civilized places.)

Republicans will belly ache about personal responsibility, yet it costs more for us to foot the bill for radical treatment that could have been avoided due to prevention then footing the bill for radical treatment when someone cannot afford their care. And is it fair that after years of giving to the world these individuals and their families should be punished with outrageous bills because they don’t work for a corporation that gives them health insurance?

Our health care system is absurd. There is no reason corporations should pay for our health care and there is no reason people who are self-employed, whether in the arts or otherwise, should be punished with outrageous costs they often opt to avoid.

More than half of all Americans walk this tight rope every day, hoping and praying they don’t get sick because they can’t afford a trip to the doctor’s office let alone several hundred dollars a month to an insurance company who will then, often fight to make sure they pay as little as possible.

And our life expectancy is at #50 of all countries in the world, ranking well below all western European countries, Canada, Hong Kong, South Korea and Bosnia for God’s sake.

How could it possibly be that we are the wealthiest country in the world and yet we let ten percent of our population control about 70 percent of the wealth? How can anyone who is not in that top echelon actually abide this? Why is it that any rational human being who works and pays taxes is not absolutely outraged by this? And how is it that the Republicans have managed to sell us on the idea that our system is fine?

Oh, yeah, the amplified fear of communism (aka more aptly dictatorship) which is actually just faked for the benefit of those who don’t understand why there would literally have to be a civil war in our country for a dictatorship to occur although we did get just about as close as we could with the Bush administration with their tactic of not counting the votes. According to the Limbaugh’s of the world it appears going back to the tax code of 1993 which was a 36 percent tax for the wealthy 10 percent to a 3 percent increase at 39 percent is a communist plot and of course so is universal health care. Hmm, I wonder who benefits most from that position. Oh, yeah the rich like Limbaugh. So he’s basically arguing from an entirely selfish point of view but trying to sell it as some sort of great American ideal when it’s nothing but more money for his private planes, which by the way he has, I know someone who was picked up and taken to his mansion in Florida by one of them. (Yes, I do have all kinds of friends.)

As I pointed out in an earlier post, communism is not the same as democratic socialism. In communist countries where they took Marx & Lennon’s ideas and ran with them they all ultimately turned into dictatorships because there was no accountability written into their ideology. The notion that a group of people would take everyone’s stuff and then divide it up among all the people evenly is insane and of course was an open invitation for graft, power hungry dictators, and greedy buerocrats. This was beyond psychologically naive, it was ideologically irrational, unsound and irresponsible. No checks and balances, no elections, hell, with all of Marx’s good intentions of lifting up the poor, he may as well have slapped a “rape the people of this country here” sticker on whatever flag adopted those ideas.

As out of whack as the US has gotten with capitalism swallowing our Democracy through corporate lobbyists and special tax laws and loopholes for the wealthy who could pay their way into the halls of power, we still have the power to pull back the reigns on this out of control buggy. And as a people we obviously have started yelling, “whoa!” by ousting the Republicans who have for the past 30 years aligned themselves with corporations, big money and lobbyists in a much more extreme way than Democrats. 

But Democrats have to start really pulling the reigns back before we leap off the mountain here. And let’s get real; they aren’t all that much better than Republicans. They take money from special interests, lobbyists and play all the same games. There is just a bigger percentage of people who identify with the working/middle class in the Democratic party but that’s been drifting away over the past 20 years as well. Which is why Obama was and is such a breath of fresh air. He actually seems like he has, can you believe it, IDEALS! It’s been a long time since we’ve seen that in a politician.

In my humble opinion this form of out of control corporate capitalism is at odds with Democracy at this point in our history. There are laws that need to be put into place, such as, if you are an American company, your product should have to be made in America. As a private citizen if I wanted to go live in France I couldn’t because I’m not French. I’m American. So why is it that corporations started by Americans and incorporated here, can make their crap in China, and then put an office in Guam and avoid paying American taxes? If you ask me this behavior is anti-American and one of the big dark roots of the economic disaster America is finding itself in. All that talk about how unemployment wasn’t that bad during the Bush administration was B.S. Besides changing the rules on how unemployment statistics were reported to only reporting people on the unemployment rolls in the unemployed statistics and cutting unemployment benefits back to 6 months, I hardly think working part-time at Wal-Mart for the minimum wage while being taught how to get food stamps and welfare by the corporate douche bags at Wal-Mart qualifies as the kind of good manufacturing jobs we shipped overseas. You know, the ones where people actually got paid a living wage, one they could feed and clothe their families on.

Another point I’d like to make here is the big mistake of the 1970s when women entered the work force and ERA was not passed. What people didn’t get was paying women 70 cents to the dollar a man would make for the same job drove down wages to the point where now both parents have to work in order to support a family.

It’s the very same principle Lou Dobbs complains about with the Mexicans driving down wages and taking away jobs because they are willing to work for less. Well, guess who relaxed the boarder laws for this very reason? The Reagan administration. Yes, that’s right folks. Allowing illegal people to stream across the boarders was a way to modernize indentured servitude. Again the goal was to make the rich, richer without any consideration of the other 90% of Americans. I’m in no way blaming the Mexican people who have come here in search of a better life. Our country is a hodge-podge of people from all over the world who came here for the very same reason. As a matter of fact the way the Mexican people have been exploited and then demonized is very much akin to what happened to the Irish who came here as indentured servants. Their pay was a ticket on a ship to America and they spent years as slaves until working this off only to find there was tremendous animosity for them because they were poor, and often in desperate straights.

Enough of my blabbing. I just want to point out that history repeats itself. It mutates and grows new claws, but there are patterns. Unfortunately, these facts are not pointed out or even noted for people to consider. I hope to at least try to illuminate those who have been seeing things through the lens of FOX news. By the way I want to note here that numerologicaly FOX = 666 for those who are of the Christian faith.

The right wing has mounted a call-in drive against President Obama’s stimulus package and senators (including Durbin and Burris from Illinois), representatives and the White House are being deluged with calls. We who support Obama and his programs MUST do our part and make phone calls supporting the stimulus package.

According to Thom Hartmann, Air America radio talk show host, one of the best ways to get through is to call your local office. I found this to be the case and, in fact, when I mentioned the right wing campaign to the lady at Durbin’s office she said: “Oh, I was wondering why we were getting so many calls against the package.”

If you’re in Illinois, I’ve listed the Chicago senate office numbers for Burris and Durban below. There is also info for folks from other states.

Also, it’s important to call the White House Comment Line (number below). I just called it and the operator I talked to said that she had received 40 calls against the stimulus package and only 10 for it.

Call to Arms…

Happy Inauguration!

Today felt more like New Years then New Years day did to me. It was really very moving. And inspired me to feel that we have again began to walk the right path, the one going forward. We’ve spent the last eight going backwards and imploding. I remember the Bush inauguration, boy was it different! Instead of their being over 2 million people gleefully wanting to see the President sworn in and people openly weeping with joy, the street that Bush traveled down was blocked off because there were so many protesters, many of whom were throwing eggs and various other rotten fruits and vegetables at his limo. When I think about that compared to the joy and hopefulness of this new inclusive administration that actually thought to have an open inauguration ball for the people, a president who was put in office by the good people of this land instead of corporate America, I feel pride in humanity. There are so many truly good hearted people, problem is most of them are not CEO’s or in the halls of power. But I feel with Obama we have one of our own to represent us. 

I wanted to say there were some really interesting posts today and I want to get to them but will do so tomorrow. Today I want to focus on the coming administration and the chart I had for Lincoln which was wrong, and now righted, comparing it again to Obama. And also the real time that inauguration took place and what it means in terms of its resonance with the next 4 years.

barack-obama-abe-linconlLooking at these charts I see even more in common then the wrong chart for Lincoln I had. Of course, Lincoln’s birth time might be off, all I could find was a reference to him being born around sun-up and also a website that had guessed his birth time at 6:54 AM probably based on this old folk lore, but it doesn’t matter because it’s close enough to a solar chart to tell us what we need to know anyway. 

There are all sorts of karmic indicators between the two men born about 150 years apart. It’s quite remarkable and seems to imply that if Obama isn’t the reincarnation of Lincoln then he is meant to finish what Lincoln started in terms of the inclusion of all people into the political process.

Here are just a few bizarre examples of the karma indicated in the charts, Obama’s rising is conjunct Lincoln’s Sun and Rising, Barack’s part of fortune is conjunct Lincoln’s Neptune and Saturn in Sagittarius, Barack’s south node is conjunct Lincoln’s Sun and rising. The south node and Saturn are both the main indicators (and the moon as well) in regards to past lives. Here we see that the south node, where would have left of in a past life is directly conjunct the rising and Sun of Lincoln, add Uranus to this conjunction, further emphasizing the Aquarian (humanitarian, global, broad minded, highly idealistic) direction that Obama not only has had in his previous life (south node) but is going toward in his current lifetime. Uranus rules Aquarius, giving Obama’s north node an Aquarian flavor. Now that’s pretty connected, but then look at Saturn, another big karmic indicator.

Obama’s Saturn is conjunct Lincoln’s part of fortune and his Moon. Again a serious karmic connection. And Lincoln’s Saturn and Neptune are directly conjunct Obama’s part of fortune. So literally, Lincoln set in motion laws and karma that directly benefitted Obama, allowing Obama to continue Lincoln’s mission of bringing idealism, hope and morality to the office of the Presidency.

Let’s not forget, not only was Lincoln coming into office while slavery, a moral outrage, was in force but also about 40 years from the Seminole war/trail of tears — the genocide of the Native American people, especially the Seminole tribes during Jackson’s administration, the Creek being one of the hardest hit. I’m sure there were plenty of Americans who didn’t like the direction the country was going in, morally ambigious (to be generous) and morally reprehensable to be more accurate. Let’s not forget the movement of people like John Brown, Harriet Tubman and a host of others who were not only against slavery, but saw it as evil. And here comes Lincoln, he played it pretty cool during the election, but his moral objection to this atrocity was so great, he was willing to push the country to war in order to correct our course. Ironically, Lincoln became president in 1861 and Obama was born exactly 100 years later in 1961. I could go on with the similarities between these two men, but I already have in a previous post and what I’m seeing now with the correction is only that these two men are more alike then I imagined.

Ok, a couple more things, their Suns are in opposite signs and their Moons make an opposition (despite it being out of sign it is still only 5 degrees apart). Especially when the Sun is involved in an opposition there are a lot of similar qualities between the two signs because when the Sun is in Leo, the Earth is in Aquarius and vice-versa. There are many other things that strike me, such as Lincoln’s Mars in Libra and Obama’s Mars in the 7th house, both fighters for justice and equality.

Obama’s love life is much better though then poor Lincoln’s who was attracted to very self-absorbed women. If Obama was Lincoln in a past life, he seems to have figured that lesson out because he has a much more harmonious love life than Lincoln did. Obama is attracted to women (in terms of long term love relationships) who are strong, dramatic, romantic and nurturing. Can’t say the same for Lincoln, he was stuck with Venus in Aries in the first, a double whammy. I bet Mary Todd was violent both verbally and physically, full of anger and selfish — these qualities may have been considered insane in a woman back then when women were supposed to put aside their own egos and support their husbands. Mary Todd probably tried to do this, but she wanted to be the center of attention and be in control. More than likely she resented her husband and the world for the unfairness women endured, having to sublimate her own needs and ambitions for her family.

Now let’s look at the inauguration chart and see what it says about the tone of the next 4 years:

Wow! Can you see all that Aquarius and Pisces at the top of the chart! Despite the Moon being void of course, which in my opinion can make anything possible and isn’t necessarily a bad thing, there is a real focus on idealism, humanitarianism, the greater good and sacrificing for the good of the whole. The Sun is conjunct Mercury, Jupiter and the north node all in Aquarius in the 10th, meaning there will be a renewed sense of our common humanity, a focus on communication and through communication we will find our greatest fortune and direction.

It’s interesting to note that Aquarius rules TV and new technology. The inclusion of the “Neighborhood Ball,” that was both televised and interconnected with parties around the world via the internet and text messaging is not just a fluke with this administration. We will see Obama pushing and using new technology to interconnect humanity and to create a greater sense of community, things he’s already done but this won’t stop now that he’s become president, from this chart it looks like this will be expanded upon. He really will be open to any good idea no matter where it comes from with all that Aquarius — it means he will be thinking outside the box and won’t care about an ideology being condoned by the elite but rather will truly get inspiration, motivation and problem solving from all sorts of people.

So if you have any good ideas, seriously, e-mail him. He will pay attention. One of the things I loved was after the “Neighborhood Ball,” was his interview with a random woman reporter who I’ve never seen before, and I”m sure for her this was a huge break to get to interview the new president. He actually honestly thanked her.

He is an amazing mix of dignity, humility and confidence that is so rare. Can you imagine Bush thanking someone like this unknown entertainment reporter? No, he wouldn’t even talk to her or know her name. If she bothered to shout a question at him coming off a helicopter, Bush would probably have responded to her with something like, “No comment, Leggy.”

Doesn’t it feel like you were finally freed after being at a really crappy job for 8 years chained to a desk with only a naked buzzing florescent light bulb dangling over your head? And now you just took a long hot shower and are drinking a cup of cocoa by a fire in some nice cozy cabin? Bush being gone is such a relief, it’s hard to even believe it’s real. I’m wondering if I’m going to wake up tomorrow only to find its all been one amazing dream. It almost seems like some cheesy Hollywood movie where the good guys win. It kind of restores ones faith in goodness.

I want to mention all the Pisces in the 11th house which reinforces Obama’s message of giving back to the community and encouraging people to serve others for the good of the whole. This will also continue to be a main theme throughout his administration, not just a campaign promise or stump speech anomaly.

There are a couple of troubling things, one is Neptune making a waning square to the moon (which is void of course) involving the 7th and 11th houses, signifying there maybe unrealistic expectations placed on Obama’s administration. The Moon in Scorpio going through the 7th house of the public would indicate that people may expect him to fix the war, financial crisis and make nice-nice with the rest of the world either unrealistically fast or out of just plain old delusion.  With Pluto in Cap transiting the 8th house, the indication is major transformation and shake up related to banking, financial, corporate and halls of power. Obviously this is already showing with our failing economy and electing the first African American President who implicit in his color alone, has shaken up the Washington establishment and re-defined what a candidate not only can look like but what his message can be. Pluto in Capricorn however indicates there is more transformation in corporations, big business, financial institutions and wall street ahead. And with Mars in Capricorn in the 9th Obama will have to contend with some infighting among allies on how to deal with the world’s economic crisis. There will also be resentment toward the US by other countries who will rightfully blame us for causing this problem. However, unfairly Obama will have to deal with some very angry foreign leaders who will see us as the reason their economies are faltering. I don’t see this as being a warlike sort of thing, just heated debate among friends on how to solve this problem. I can see why some astrologers were freaking out over the potential for Obama’s assasination for the obvious reasons but also because Pluto is in the 8th house. But in my opinion and my gut, Pluto there (especially because it’s in Cap) is related to the world economic structure, financial and business worlds not Obama himself. These institutions are going to have serious trouble, many more major corporate institutions, banks, and businesses will become defunct. This will not be a time of greed, over-zealous capitalism and giant profits.

It will be a time of reckoning, spiritual evolution, appreciating what is truly important, each other and helping one another. It will be the best of times and the worst of times for big business, investors and a lot of people who may still potentially loose their jobs. However, with Taurus rising it does look like Obama will focus on creating new jobs for people. Perhaps the creation of re-education programs geared toward not only technology and service, but for working with the elderly and dying, will be encouraged through this administration.

Despite the financial sour pickle we are going to eat and the release of information (probably within the next day or so) that will make the market start to free fall some more, we will be a better, stronger, wiser, kinder people. Also with Saturn in the 5th, the stock market will have the squeeze put on it both in terms of new laws and regulations and also its numbers continuing to constrict rather then bloom.

I think we may see the end of capitalism as we have known it. But once new laws (which there will likely be many international as well) are put into place, there stock market will recover. And with Saturn being in Virgo, down the road the next set of stocks to get  hit will be health care related stuff as it seems Obama will restructure that as well.

Yes, I have heard this because it’s when the Mayan calendar runs out. People have speculated that it signals the end of the world. The Mayans broke segments of time into worlds, kind of like western astrology does via ages. However they used different language to describe this then we do. Instead of ages like the Taurus age, the Aries age, the Pisces age (which we are in the tale end of) and the coming Aquarius age, they used the term world and they paired it up with animals and animal Gods who had significance to their culture. 

The fact that their calendar ends December 21, 2012 could mean a lot of things. Perhaps they just calculated their calendars until they ran out of steam figuring they would get to what was beyond 2012 when the time came. Or they saw that as the pole has shifted backwards through the zodiac, in our recorded time from Taurus all the way through to current Pisces, with Pisces being the last sign, and perhaps for them a similar astrological configuration symbolizing the last sign, the pole then goes past the last western sign (and maybe their version of a last sign) to point toward Aquarius. Either they saw this a quandary to figure out later, or as some have stated the end of all worlds. As we are currently living in the last sign in the grand procession of ages before going past the final sign of Pisces, they may have had a system that mirrored ours and perhaps this is when (in their system) the pole shifts completely toward the next sign.

Some have speculated that the end of all worlds means a vibrational shift that would happen at this time, others Armageddon.

Also take into consideration this date falls on winter solstice, traditionally an ending of one year as the God dies and is reborn and beginning of a new year. It could be very simply that they were forecasting the end of their own culture and the demise of the world they had known, sort of like the bible has done. Of course with global warming, an economic depression and wars raging all over the globe it doesn’t seem that far off to imagine the literal interpretation to be accurate.

It’s my belief we will experience a period of purging and destruction that will be followed by a new well spring of humanity, which hopefully will be (and I believe it will be) a collective evolutionary shift toward greater enlightenment at the end of the storm.

Let’s face it, we don’t seem to learn much from love, peace, and roses. We seem to need a little butt kicking to get us straight from time to time. I wish it weren’t so, but it seems for the majority of us, we learn through loss and hard times not through appreciation of what we have. Our lower tendency is toward greed, which we don’t always even know we are exhibiting. For instance we have plenty of food, shelter, clothing, a loving family, a nice home, a good car, a wonderful job and we wish for a bigger house, more money, more power, etc. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, it pushes us to be bigger and better than we are, it’s often called ambition. But the negative side of this means we aren’t truly present in our lives appreciating all the good we have and learning from it. Some of us have the ability to do so, but most of us have a motto more akin to that old Rolling Stones song, “I can’t get no satisfaction.” Personally, I liked the Devo version better, but then I’m a dork for Devo.

I’ll re-read the post I was writing about the Mayan calendar ending and put it up in the next few days.

I think I did answer this in a previous post, but it’s fine. It’s my intuitive feeling that the Bush administration knew about what was going to happen on 9/11 and there was a conscious decision not to interfere, but rather exploit the situation to further the neo-con agenda. This was my first initial feeling the day of the event, despite some friends rushing to say that it was actually planned by the Bush administration. I did not have that feeling. Of course facts have come out which were documented in Michael Moore’s film confirming my feeling. I don not feel or believe explosive devices were already in place in the towers. The heat from the fuel, and the poor upkeep on the flame retardant material that was supposed to cover the metal skeleton of the buildings, allowed the metal to bend in on itself, causing the weight to collapse the buildings.

The fact that invading Iraq had been a neo-con objective since the last war and an excuse was needed to justify breaking the Genova convention, I believe was why the events of 9/11 were allowed to take place. Why else would there be a stand down order issued? Besides the long standing friendship with the Bin Laden family, which is why they were the only people allowed to fly besides our president who never touched ground. When we needed him most he was playing chicken in the sky.

I’m not saying there wasn’t a conspiracy of exploitation, willful ignorance, and apathy. I just don’t believe they went as far as planting the bombs and ordering the terrorism. The terrorism was inevitable if one looked the other way, and that’s what they did. In that way I do believe they were co-conspirators in waiting for the shoe to drop, so they could use it to whack their enemies.

aha …….. mercury retrograde these sort of things happen. yesterday I spilled liquid on my laptop ( first time ever and hopefully the last ) first thing I did is turned it upside down, unplugged the power cord and held the power button till it shut off. after that I took a few paper towels kept them between the screen and moniter and left the computer upside down. Turned it on today mornings and it’s working fine. keys are a bit sticky but freeing up… ………. dont ask me what I spilled on it and I do not drink milk not after I was weaned away 🙂

Urggg! Mercury retrograde! It’s enough to drive a person crazy. Have you noticed people also drive erratically during Mercury Retrograde? I’ve seen more near misses and accidents during those periods then any other time. I think your right about the missing post. Hope your computer is OK.

I’ve done research about autism because of my pregnancy, and of course, my now one year old daughter. It has always been my feeling that it will turn out to be environmental toxins. For awhile people were concerned about Mercury in vaccines, but that was removed about 10 years ago, and the incidents of autism have continued to soar and have actually gotten worse. The anecdotal stories of people noticing their kids (mostly boys get autism) exhibiting the signs shortly after vaccination made me spread my daughter’s shots out because I felt it wasn’t so much the vaccination as perhaps overloading a baby with too many things to try and fight off, and perhaps for babies (especially boys because of the x chromosome and the fact that this makes them biologically weaker health wise) who are already dealing with toxicity, a bunch of vaccinations that overload their immune system is enough to set the autism ball rolling. 

I know some scientists think it is genetic, but I have a feeling it will turn out to be a number of toxins, and could also be further complicated and linked to the breakdown in our immune system caused by exposure to more UVB rays then ever before.

((hugs)) I think this happens to everyone at one time or another. Pres. Obama is asking everyone to contact him with ideas at change.gov. Do you think he actually reads these emails and uses the ideas? If he does will our Congress also actually start listening to us? That will be a nice switch. Once I wrote a letter to my Congresswoman and she wrote me back that she was doing everything she could to stop people like me. I have had better luck with my Senators, but I really feel things would be different if they actually read their mail instead of their employees.
