I have gotten a couple of posts from Louis, here they are and I will answer those questions tonight.

Hi denise, I am an avid reader of your website.  Thank you again. I have written previously asking about OZ minerals, you have said it would be brought out in 2010 however there has been an offer to by the company by a Chinese company. Will they buy it this year. And is it wise to buy more to reduce the overall loss, as the Chinese company is offering a little more than its present share price?. The other question is currently in Victoria, Australia we have had terrible fires devastating and killing many. Is there a rhyme or reason for particular areas throughout the world to be hit by disaster and are those people chosen to suffer such excruciating loss? Thanks again . Warmest wishes Louis

I heard about the devastating fires and was horrified and very saddened by them. It was a case of arson from what we heard here. Sadly I don’t think there was any reason those people were “chosen” for suffering. I feel the psycho who did this just bought himself a ticket to becoming an ant to be squashed on for the next 1,ooo lifetimes.

In other words sometimes things like this are new karma that happen. I don’t believe everything is fated, I believe we co-create our fate. Those people who suffered such loss and those who died may have had things in their destiny or fate that made them more suspectable, but it had nothing to do with them. This is why it is so important for people to ALWAYS TRUST your INTUITION!!!

People blow off those weird feelings because they don’t trust themselves. It doesn’t matter whether someone thinks your crazy or you feel like an idiot or you turn out to be wrong, if you ever get the feeling that something bad is going to happen and you feel the need or desire to leave, then do so. If you ever get creeped out by someone, TRUST IT! Don’t ever, ever, ever doubt yourself. We all have this internal self preservation instinct and it must be headed at all times above any kind of rationality because you are literally gambling with your life by not trusting yourself.

I’ll use the tarot to answer this question. So here is the question for the tarot. Should you buy more stock in OZ to regain the losses you have so far before the Chinese company Minmetals buy them out? I hope I got that right. I’ll answer that one, and if I got it wrong post the question again so I can answer you with a yes/no spread.

The cards answered a clear yes to that question, even though you still may not fully recover what you lost it will help according to them.

I wanted to thank Wei for answering the question about MS and pregnancy. I had always heard women with MS shouldn’t get pregnant and was surprised when my neurologist told me pregnancy was the “cure” for MS, meaning it went into remission for pregnant women. I’m not sure if this is new information or if this is sometimes the case but not always? Anyway, thanks for giving your info Wei.

And to all those who knew Cori Desmond I want to extend my condolensces. I am so sorry for the loss of this young woman who I feel was very strong and independant. I am worried about the health of her father as I feel he may have heart problems as a result of this or already had issues that this could make worse. My offer to help goes out to him. I truly feel for this man and wish this had never happened.

Discount Private Readings, What?

Hi everyone,

As a Yule tide offer on December 9,11,12,16,18 and 19 between Noon and 6PM PST I will cut rates for a 15 minute reading to $50, for half an hour $100, 45 minutes $150 and for an hour $200.

I want to give people on a budget a chance at a private reading with the New Year coming and so many changes heading our collective way. During this period I will book readings very tightly so if you realistically think you will want half an hour or more then book it in advance! Because chances are good I won’t be able to extend time with you. Under normal circumstances I’m very generous with my time (as those of you who have had readings with me know) and try to keep a wide window around readings, but I want to be able to give many people readings, so I won’t be able to do that during this window of time. If you do want to just book a 15 minute period then it will have to be a tarot reading and make sure to have questions prepared so you get what you want out of the experience.

(I’ll go old school and just clairvoyant it up. One of my first job’s as a psychic, I had to read very quickly under a lot of pressure — that’s a story in itself, I won’t bother to go into.)

Hello again. Here is a unique question. When within the next 75 days would you recommend a marriage date for these two people? Born 7/28/56 Chillicothe, Ohio and 8/17/80 Olongapo, Philippines. Any other advise would be appreciated too. Thank you again.

Hi Barry,

I wouldn’t feel comfortable giving a good time specifically without the birth times of both people. In general both people are Leo’s and there are a bunch of conjunctions. I can’t tell however if their moons or rising signs are square or in the later case, trine or whatever. The woman born in the Philipines hasn’t gone through her Saturn return yet, meaning she hasn’t completely come into her own. That will happen in September of 2009.

If it were me, in this case because there is a big age, and cultural difference, I would wait until that return happens and get married October of 2009 when there are a lot of positive aspects between the outer planets and stuff going on in both charts. If one can’t wait then it’s best to do it while the sun is in Sagittarius, either the weekend of December 5 or on the 10, or 11th.

But mostly I’d just go with your own gut feeling, and do it when convenient. Stuff like marriages and births have a tendency to work out the way they are meant to. So I wouldn’t sweat it too much!

Will Tim Geitner be a good Secretary of Treasury?

That’s a big yes from the tarot.

Oddly a woman is at the center of this answer. I feel his wife maybe a secret weapon. It looks as though he works very hard. Also the Justice card comes up which makes me believe he’s got a diplomatic personality, and works well with other people, often moderating between different people’s opinions, and coming up with a workable solution.

It also looks like as he gets into the job he’ll soon uncover a lot of deceptive practices, and out right lying that took place on wall street. This could potentially lead to a criminal investigation which could also be why the Justice card comes up. There is another woman involved in the pursuit of justice along with him. This probably won’t happen right away, at the earliest it would be three months into the Obama administration when this angle is considered. Perhaps it will be Nancy Pelosi or another powerful woman (Hillary?) who insists on prosecuting those responsible for what will turn out to be a major swindle of the American public and the world economy. We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg here. There are people involved in this who definitely deserve to do prison time. Whether they do, that’s another question altogether.

The other is Minara Resources MRE ( Nickel and Colbalt Miner) which began on 17th March 1994. I couldn’t agree more that this crisis is more than fear and although it hurts many of us little people who have become victims of greed and deception, this crisis had to happen because we must come back to real values and respect for each other. Competition, winners and losers, victims and predators are not a healthy way to live and is unsustainable in the long run. May all the things that are good eventually prevail . And the ‘meek inherit the earth. One other question I have, although I like Hilary Clinton I am unsure of her possible position as State Secretary. Do you think if she took on the role would she be able to negotiate peacefully with other nations and create healing with those nations that are angry with America’s previous actions, interference and foreign policy? I’m assuming that Minara is also an Australian stock traded in Sydney? If not let me know. I ran a chart for it based on the info you gave and the start time of the Australian stock market. Here it is:

I’m wondering if this stock performed well in the spring and summer of 2006. Because if it did then this chart is accurate. It would have been off and on during that period and sort of out of the blue. In general though the company should have had other troubles going on that I won’t bother going into, but it should have had a little unexpected boon during that time period. If it did not, then take this info with a grain of salt because I may not have the right chart and timing in the market is everything, and without the right chart, the timing will be wrong.

So here goes.

According to this chart transiting Pluto is (and has been for awhile) going through the company’s 8th house (shareholders) not a good thing for the shareholders in general. However, there are some good aspects coming up starting at the end of December of 2010 and into 2011, when transiting Pluto will sextile the company’s Saturn in the 10th. This will bring them opportunity to do (or do more) business abroad, and news of this will make the stock value go up. And again when Pluto sextiles the company’s Mars in the 10th in February of 2011 on until about 2012, when the opportunity for the company to fulfill some its expectations, and become more aggressive, perhaps even expand operations, that will give this company more value. There will also be an opposition at that time to the company’s part of fortune which can either mean jackpot or crisis. So you’ll have to watch them carefully as all these aspects are sextiles and sextiles are merely opportunities, not absolutes.  Also during this time Neptune will be conjuncting the company’s Mercury either making them come up with visionary solutions or it could cause lying, confusion and secrecy.

Really, if you can wait until 2016 to sell, I’d do that because there will be very powerful trine from transiting Pluto to the company’s Moon, and also it will set off Jupiter. I would not however freak out right now and feel you have to sell this stock. There isn’t anything going on in its chart to make me think it’s going to fold anytime soon. So if you can wait out this storm, then it will get better. Remember though, I’m an astrologer and a psychic not a financial investment person, so it’s also a good idea to seek advice from someone who knows the logical side of this as well.

Hi Iris,

I couldn’t find their times of birth so I ran solar charts on them. Here are both women’s solar charts.

Both women are forthright, strong with Mars near their Suns, they are also aggressive, physical, athletic and don’t back down. 

Michelle is emotionally very soft and compassionate which foils her very aggressive, ambitious outer personality. Her luck has always been because she made it herself with Jupiter in Aries. She’s a humanitarian with Saturn (the ruler of her Sun) in Aquriaus, plus that Mars in Aquariaus conjunct her Sun. She’s extremely brilliant with Uranus/Pluto trining her natal Mercury. I do worry about Michelle Obama’s safety more than anyone else. And looking at her chart in February of 2010 Pluto will be going over her natal Mercury. If she has Gemini or Virgo rising this could be a very bad thing as Mercury would rule her chart or if she has Mercury in her 8th house. I warned before about her safety and to me this confirms my fear that she maybe more of a target then even her husband. Perhaps because she will be seen as easier to get to. I’m worried about her.

Jill is also intelligent and has a strong sense of family and probably values her privacy a lot, and is a bit of a homebody. As I said she’s also strong and aggressive, but not overly so as Mars, and her Sun conjunction are softened by a trine to Neptune. So she makes her point, fights it out, but not unfairly and also listens to the other person. Despite all the airy Gemini in her chart she’s pretty practical with Mercury in Taurus, and likes the finer things in life, and is willing to work hard for them — Mercury trine Saturn in Virgo. She too like Michelle has made her own luck in this world, and probably came from modest beginnings. I’d say for various reasons that I won’t get into, she’s also very sensual in a good way. She’s affectionate to those she loves, and isn’t afraid to express her feelings with her family.

Hopefully there times of birth will become public at some point, and I can give a better analysis.

Well, it looks like Hillary is going to take the job, but it won’t be officially announced until after Thanksgiving for some reason. That’s what I heard on the news at least, but you never know.  I can understand your concern about Hillary and drama, the Clinton years were full of that problem and she appeared to be very hawkish when running for president. So let’s see if she will be distracted by outside drama or personal career plans.

The tarot’s answer: Yes. But not so much in terms of her performance on the job.

She’ll be distracted to a degree by her husband. The pattern card comes up. And a man is in the center. It looks like Bill will cause her some personal anguish, the ace of cups reversed is also there. But she has the six of wands, victory in business or career also, so I’m going to say she’ll do a great job, and be an excellent wing woman to Obama, however her husband may have trouble being on the side lines.

I get the feeling Monica wasn’t really the first time she dealt with Bill’s infidelities, and I don’t think it was or is the last. There is a high probability that stuff will get leaked out about other infidelities he’s had, or may have, but I don’t get the feeling it will have much impact on the Obama administration. It will be more of a personal impact on Hillary not so much her job. I think Bill might be a sex addict. I feel bad for her. The worst part is she’ll feel humiliated because of his behavior, and that’s really not fair.

Do you see the Dow Jones Index going below 6000 in December…? Also, do you expect Deflation or Inflation in 2009? Are they going to print so much money that the dollar becomes completely worthless and we will finally need a new currency, or o you see the dollar getting stronger, like right now?

I’ll ask the tarot if the Dow will go below 6000.

The answer: Yes

I saw the number 5986 while I was focusing on this question. But I could have flipped some of the numbers. Maybe 5896? I do feel that in the end of Dec/early Jan. we’ll see it get into down into the high 5000 range.

In answer to the second question. My feeling is that because the whole world will be in similar crisis our money by comparison will fluctuate, but not get to the point where we have to use a barrel full of money to buy a gum ball. So I guess we’ll see inflation, but it will be world wide, and our dollar will be nested in about the same place its been for awhile.

It’s kind of like we’re all on the Titanic together, so buying someone’s diamond ring that’s worth two hundred bucks for ten million dollars isn’t going to matter because we’re all sinking. In other words value will have an entirely different meaning within this new context.

I also see a world currency as a direct result of this crazy financial debacle. Once the international banking and market laws go into effect, it very likely will go that way out of ease of use. But I don’t see that happening right away. That’s at least a few years away. At least. And this could change depending on what happens over the next couple of years.

Hi Marie,

I do feel she will be a team player. I have a strong feeling that Hillary is worried this might be the highest office she will be able to attain due to her age and her husband’s notorious past. I really feel her heart is in this, and she will acquiesce to Obama’s policy. The campaign (which started almost immediately after she became a senator in my opinion) was her trying to show how tough she was and invulnerable. This stance ruined her. Both these characteristics are actually more antithetical to her then the public would think.

I feel she played tough for fear of seeming weak, and like someone who isn’t really tough, and doesn’t understand the boundaries, she overplayed this in an effort to be one of the boys. I don’t feel she is truly hawkish. I do feel she played to win according to the rules she had in her head, and didn’t follow her heart. If she had been true to herself she would have ended up being President and Obama VP. But she blew it a long time ago. Pretty much from 9/11 on when it seemed she traded in her true passion for a power pant suit. That being said, I feel we are going to finally get the real Hillary here.

As for Bill Richardson the press has already answered that one. It seems he’s going to be in the new administration as well, which is great. I meant to answer this question sooner because I had a strong feeling Obama would find a place for him but now it’s too late to show my clairvoyant skills off.

By the way is this an owl reference? I love owls! They are my life long totem animal. Anyway, that’s another story, another post. 

I feel Chicago isn’t going to be a target of domestic terrorism earlier then 2016. That was my immediate feeling. Which will be before the olympics, but that’s a good question. It may make Chicago vulnerable again at that time to other attempts.

I asked the tarot and it answered: Maybe.

I’ll have to look into the astrology around that time to glean anything further. But my immediate feeling is Chicago will be a target much earlier then that, and I’m worried about that attempt right now.

There are so many tonight. I’m going to break them up over the next few days but will put the list of all of them on here so everyone can see what’s coming up. Make sure to check the post just before this one as it answers the question about the tower card and what will happen in PA.

Ben Bernanke, head of the US Federal Reserve, has an unbelievable onslaught of difficult astrological aspects affecting him on Dec. 11 and 12/08. What kind of crisis is in store for Bernanke/The Fed and US Federal Reserve notes (US dollars)?

I really wish I would have studied economics and business instead of going to art school, but what can you do? I have to admit I don’t know much about how it works which I think gives me a strange advantage in that my intellect can’t cloud my intuition. But sometimes its frustrating because I feel I could explain things better if I did have a background in economics but anyway back to your question. Here’s his solar chart because we don’t have his time of birth:

Yeah it looks like transiting Saturn is going to make a T-Square to his Sun, Moon, and Jupiter. But without knowing the houses its hard to pin point where all the trouble will be in his life. Saturn in Virgo is work related. He has Sun in Sag, so he’s a very lucky guy and Moon in Pisces. I’d have to say he’s going to be under tremendous pressure during this period. Perhaps even be blamed for stuff yet to come out. He could very well be fired or be forced into a compromised position. It’s going to be hard for him. I’m sure he’s going to take the heat for a lot of this mess. And it is doubtful our money will remain strong during the coming crisis, but the whole world economy is going to be dragged through this with us, and a lot of foreign currency will be devalued as well. So I’m going to say in regards to his chart, he personally is going to have a lot of stress and depending on what houses these planets fall in, if I were him I would be worried potentially about my health, my own personal wealth and my job. But again I’m not sure how to read him individually in regards to the greater whole. His chart reflects tremendous crisis for him.

You foresee an economic collapse and advised people to put their money in FDIC insured accounts. Are all markets going to collapse not just stocks and bonds but commodities too? How can valuable commodities that everyone needs to survive not have value and currencies like the U.S. dollar stay valuable when governments are deep debt. Wouldn’t one want natural gas, oil stocks, gold minding stocks instead of paper money that can be printed at will? And what about money market funds, are they safe? I think I read the US government has or is going to guarantee those too. I ask these questions becasue I own gold ETF, silver ETF, gold mining stocks, Suncor, Opti Canada, Double Eagle and others. I also have more then $200,000 dollars in Western Asset Managements’s money market fund in my 401k. As you probably know there are tremendous penalties for taking money out of a 401k plan.

Hi Barry,

You raise excellent points, all of which I’ve been thinking a lot about for the past 8 weeks. People asked me about gold and precious metals and for some reason they didn’t look like they would have the same sort of meaning they used to. It wasn’t bad to own them, just not a huge advantage. I was talking to a friend about the commodities market. I need to look at it because it seems, that these are real things that people need, and would hold more value then anything on the stock market. I will look into this once I find a reliable chart or info about the opening of the commodities market in Chicago. I will post everything I find.

My gut tells me it won’t be the same sort of blood bath as the stock market/global market.  Readers have asked me about certain stocks, many of them energy related. I’m not a financial expert, but these stocks also looked as though they were taking a hit. And from the feedback I got from those readers, indeed they did. I have also heard that the government was going to insure some money market funds, but not to their full value. I don’t know for sure if I have accurate information because I haven’t been able to make sense of all the conflicting things I’ve heard about it.

No doubt its a scary time. I will check into the commodities market and do a post dedicated to predictions about it. So look for that in the next couple of days. Thanks for your questions. I’m also going to post a readers’ advice about 401k(s). I don’t have experience with them, her advice seemed very good, it will be at the end of this post.

Hi this site is keeping me sane too. Thank you so much. I googled other psychics and they think McCain will win. I will give you some names then ask my questions. Victoria weston, Elizabeth Joyce and Valerie Morrison. Are these ladies all republican and that is why they think Obama will win? I am kinda upset with some of the lies that Valeria Morrison as out out about Obama on a Irv Homer show… UCK…

I really don’t see how McCain could even logically win at this point. Really.

So it’s more likely that these psychics were wrong. No psychic is 100% right. Also when you have to constantly come up with predictions, when cornered and nothing is coming, some people end up relying on logic and don’t even realize it. A year ago it would have seemed a lot more likely that McCain would win.

I remember back when McCain ran against Bush, my husband saw him interviewed and told me he had a feeling he would win. I did not have that feeling. Have never had that feeling about McCain. It wasn’t until McCain picked Sarah Palin that I became nervous he had even the smallest chance. I just don’t think it has ever been in McCain’s destiny to become commander and chief. But he’s white and perhaps some of these (I’m assuming) older psychics just couldn’t envision a person of color winning.

That’s my take on it.

Hi again Sinead — I do think that was part of the tower card coming up over and over again. It’s interesting that it came up in PA and at the center was the Empress card (a powerful archtypal mother character/Sarah Palin) I believe she was using scare tactics there.

One reader thought that reversed it wasn’t as bad, so I hope they are right. Personally, I’ve always seen the Tower bring chaos and disaster no matter which direction it shows up in. I do wonder about PA because the cards have been so wishy-washy when the polling has been so clearly for Obama. It makes me wonder if something strange will happen. But look at the post below about PA and the Tower. I go into much more detail about this issue.

What is being hidden in Palin Medical records that is causing her to delay releasing them?

My first thought– She’s a robot, a Stepford Wife. Of course that’s a joke.

My intuition says she has a heart problem. Perhaps a congenital defect in her heart or main artery leading to her heart. She has a big red spot in her aura there and from my experience this is an indication of a wound or physical problem. It’s not black, so it is not life threatening but she may not want it exposed because she wants to run for the presidency and feels it would impede her future bid.

I just looked at her chart for confirmation of this feeling and there is astrological evidence as well. She has Sun, Mars and Saturn all conjunct in her 7th house and the ruler of both her 6th and 7th is Saturn. The 6th is the house of health and the Sun rules your heart, both Saturn and Mars are trouble makers.

Hi again, I wanted to pass on some info about withdrawing from 401k and putting into IRA CD which I am in the process of doing. First of all, it’s outrageous the rules and regulations to remove money out from a 401k that one has under an employer plan. It has taken more than 10 days for me to get this money out into an IRA CD even though I FedEx Overnight the application. The good news is I found that “brokerage” IRA CDs (which are insured by FDIC) give a highter interest rate than banks (almost double). Maybe this will help some of your readers.

Thank you so much for answering my question.
I wanted to run this by you on the Tower (reversed) card. I have always interpreted the Tower card as two figures falling out of the tower on their head so if reversed it means they have landed on their feet. So, you can take the upright Tower to mean a chaotic situation that leaves you feeling out of control, reversed to mean that it’s chaotic but you land on your feet. So the Tower reverses essentially means coming out on top of a chaotic situation. Of course, I am assuming that is the only card that you pulled from the deck. And, interesting that you had a dream of a tornado. A tornado can be symbolic of a lot of things. The skies in dreams generally link to the future with the possibility of change. So if they are disturbed then it could mean there is no clear outlook for how things will be. Uncertainty, Unforeseen, changes are possibilities with tornado meanings in dreams. I keep feeling that we are in the ‘calm before the storm’. I’m getting the feeling there will be some Republican dirty tricks. I have a feeling it has something to do with Sarah Palin. When I asked the question, she popped into my head and she shows up in the cards along with the devil card. So it seems she’s going to try and scare the you know what out of the people of that state in the coming week. There is going to be some serious confusion. But I saw the state turn blue on the map. So I feel that this state will go to Obama, but there will be some strange stuff happening here. It may not be cut and dried right away.

Yes. It will be by a much bigger margin then expected. A lot of women are going to go out and vote, and I don’t mean the Sarah Palin types. Also young people, more then expected.

Wow! According to the cards, Yes.

And it will be a huge upset to the Republican establishment there. It looks like there is a major change going on down there, and again, young people and the message of change, hope and a new beginning for the country is going to play very well. There is a possibility of a crisis down there that could give the lead to Obama/Biden. The tower card comes up. It may very well be another economic hit that gets the elderly people living off their retirement funds very nervous, nervous enough to go for the guy who has a plan and won’t gamble their social security in the stock market. Also the issue of health care with this economic tsunami, may have the elderly feeling they need to vote Obama/Biden.

I immediately had the feeling that there is a tremendous amount of racism at play in this particular area. Unfortunately, there is too much confusion about who Obama is, the belief he’s a Muslim and all that crazy right wing stuff, has a much greater foot hold in this state. Why? I don’t know. But Obama/Biden will have supporters and not loose by an overwhelming amount.

The cards say: Yes

They literally jumped out of the deck. But my instincts feel this will be more of a reactive vote against McCain then for Obama/Biden. The economy is the main focus here, and a feeling that McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin was such a disaster there isn’t any trust for his judgement in solving the economic problems. 

Will Obama/Biden win VA?

I got a very odd answer. The tower came up, just as it did for Florida. Again election tampering (fraud, suppression) but in this case it looks like it won’t be clear who won the state for a little while. It looks like a court case may come out of this. And ultimately Obama/Biden will win. But chances are it will go to court first and we might not know who won the state right away.

The tarot says: Yes

Will Obama/Biden win North Carolina?

No. 

Will Obama/Biden win by a landslide?

Yes.

But not as big as some would think. It maybe a bit of a nail biter. Obama is so far ahead in the polls but because of voter suppression and other dirty tricks it may not look like as big of a landslide as it actually is. Some of the same old 2000 & 2004 tricks will be tried, but this time it will not effect the final outcome. In fact I think we’ll see future laws put into place because of these same Republican dirty tricks being used again and this time the tricks will be exposed and Democrats will be in the majority. 

The next question comes from me. 

Will the Democrats win the 60 needed seats to have a true majority?

Just barely. But Yes. It will probably be exactly 60 or just over it.

You know this is a horrible thing that has happened to Jennifer Hudson’s family and I feel so badly for all of them. It is just sickening.

I saw a picture of the boy, and I feel he is in serious peril. He is terrified, and saw what happened to his grandmother, and uncle. I feel his father has him, and is acting extremely erratically and is very abusive. I worry that this man will kill the child. I am very worried. I hadn’t focused on it until I saw the picture of the poor boy, and now I am feeling he is in grave danger, and the father is not in his right mind. He could snap, and kill his own son if the boy is not found soon. 

I think its a matter of days, or weeks before this boy will pass over unless the police find him. I see the father on the road, running with the kid. Right now, the boy is alive. But I do see the father acting out on him and this father is very crazy, erratic, volatile, explosive. I’m very worried the authorities won’t find the boy until it is too late. I really hope I’m wrong. One thing I do see, if anyone can use this information is a motel with red doors. They are currently in this motel. I believe the motel is south east of where the child was taken from. Perhaps in Indiana or on the boarder of Indiana and Illinois.

If I were to have a more direct connection, knew the boys birthdate time, place and had an article of his clothing I would feel much more confident about finding this boy. Right now there is so much worry and negative energy clouding the pathway to the boy’s trail. I can’t be sure my reading is totally clear. I wish this family well. 

What a horrible and tragic situation. If the family wants my help I would be glad to do so anonymously and for free.

I’m not sure the world will ever be utopic, but it will evolve if we let it. As global warming puts the squeeze on the world, I feel the Pacific Northwest, and most of Canada will be among the most inhabitable places on earth. 

Now about the Canadian dollar. It does defy logic that your money has gone down. So I’ll ask the tarot if the Canadian dollar will continue to loose value compared to the US dollar:

It looks like there will be an economic depression both in the US and in Canada.

It seems that both countries are going to be in serious financial trouble and both economies are going to be hit hard. I believe we will see this all over the world. Oddly, no country’s money will be worth much for awhile as the public trust will have been ruined and widespread corruption, and truly terrible things about corporations, financial institutions, brokerage firms, etc. will come out over the next few months. It’s going to feel like we’ve been attacked. As if the business world has betrayed the people of the world. As if they have abused the everyday consumer/person.

It looks like there has been so much blatant abuse of power, stealing and corruption that will come out, at first, it will be devastating. Kind of like when you find out your lover has had an affair on you. It will be very painful and a lot of people will be wary of investing in anything. People will stop spending money and start really changing their habits partially out of need because of major job losses, but also out of a feeling of abandonment.

It will feel as though the government, and the institutions we trusted, knocked us out, and then while we were unconscious kicked our teeth in on top of it. It’s going to make a lot of people upset, but it will ultimately be a catalyst for major reform in how we as a world, do business.

I asked the tarot if these new attacks on Obama calling him a socialist would anger Obama voters and motivate them even more to vote:

The answer: Yes.

It looks like Obama supporters are not going to buy this and those who have made up their mind in support of him are just going to become more avid supporters because of it. They don’t like the unfairness and feel this is a dirty mischaracterization of him. It will motivate more people to openly defend him. So it will backfire on the McCain camp.

I asked the tarot if retired General Colin Powell’s endorsement would help undecided voters decide to vote for Obama:

The answer: Yes.

It seems that in the next few weeks the economy will again be on people’s minds. People are really suffering financially right now and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. It’s strange, but the people who are being swayed by Powell are those who don’t want to vote for Obama, but feel there is no choice because McCain is just not a viable option. They know it will ultimately be in their best interest and provide a truly new (and much needed) direction for this country. Very interesting. But it doesn’t look like Powell’s endorsement will make a huge difference as Obama is so far ahead and will pull out even more once the G7 excitement wears down and the markets go crazy again.

OK that’s a lot of questions hidden inside a question. I’m not sure I can answer all of it succinctly enough for one post. I’d have to look at the charts of the companies mentioned and so I’ll save that part of the post for a later date after I look through my data base.

In answer to the other question about how China and India will effect the Australian economy, I’m not an economist so I’ll have to ask the cards and try to interpret them the best I can. Please do me the favor of posting how you think it relates because I’ll have no idea if any of it will make sense. 

I’ll ask a yes/no question to start, and if you want more data then put that in the next post as well.

Will the growing economies of China and India adversely effect the Australian economy?

The answer: No.

It looks like there is a new business model or paradigm shift in the Australian economy. The change has caused some problems and unbalanced things a bit, but as long as your political and business leaders work with an eye toward eliminating old ways of doing things, and instead of competing use these new markets as a work force, focusing Australians on the intellectual property side, innovation and development, the economy will find a new strategy that will work well for all involved.

OK these I’ll save for later. Bed time for me. It’s late! (Sorry Steve, I swear I’ll get to your question soon!)

I enjoy your blog. I check it out almost everyday. I was wondering what are your vibes on the situation in Mexico? My own feelings are that we should keep a close eye on this. I feel the violence in Mexico is more of a threat to the average American’s personal safety than Iraq or Afganistan. My own intution says we will be asked by the Mexican government for police and/or military support, before this is over. What do you think? Thank you for your time and insight.

I was delighted as well when this passed and all people were recognized as human beings with the right to share their life with the person they love. How beautiful is that? Isn’t that what we all want. I can’t believe it has ever even been an issue in our land of “freedom.”

It was about time.

I don’t understand how anyone could believe they have the right to interfere in another person’s life, stand in someone’s way to happiness and the right of all people to have a family. It really upsets me, but anyway. I’ve seen the lame prop 8 ads, and it’s really been upsetting me, too. So let’s ask the tarot:

Phew, I was worried there. I do feel that it is imperative for people to really get out and let their voices be heard about this. Like I said, sadly, it will be close. But it looks like there are enough people who see loving another as a right and they won’t take it away.

4.) If so, when will this happen/what is the timeframe (i.e. 10 years… 20 years….30 years…. 100 years….. never?)

5.) From what country will the solution emerge?

We are essentially a group of people with deeply broken hearts, hanging onto hope that we aren’t even sure is valid. Modern medicine does not currently have an answer for us, but it is our deepest hope that someday it will. However, if it is not to be in our lifetime, then knowing that would help all of us to move on and not spend any more time waiting in vain. Perhaps you can help ease the burden of “not knowing” by infusing our search with a little foresight into the future.

Hi Octavia. I’m very sorry to hear about the plight of so many with this problem. I will try to tackle as much and as many of these questions as possible.

It will depend on all of you. You will be able to sell this idea to a research/cosmetic or medical company, mainly for cosmetic reasons that can be applied to the larger population. You guys need to gather a think tank and figure out how your healing your condition could benefit the greater market. For example perhaps this condition if cured could lead to doctors using this treatment post surgery so people would not get scares. This would be especially appealing to the plastic surgery community. You also maybe able to convince researchers to get to the root of the problem with similar broader application. Perhaps if it is a genetic collegan problem then understanding how this gene works and repairing it may also be applied to how to enhance this gene in ordinary people so their skin can look perpetually youthful. Don’t loose hope. You guys just need some angles outside of your group. I believe if you start working on it, and ask me this question again in six months or a year, after you have made a plan, there will be a very different outcome and the answer will be yes. You will see a cure. But you guys are going to have to make it happen.

You can do this even with the financial market in crisis. And actually, oddly this came up as an advantage because once the turmoil settles a bit, there will be people looking to invest in new technology, especially medical technology as the baby boomers age. And as we all know, they are the biggest generation on the planet. I have a strong feeling once you hone your plan you will find investors willing to help you get it to the next level.

I have been watching the news coverage of McCain/Palin rallies and I can’t believe all the hatred especially from some of the African American people. It leaves me uncomfortable as a black person. Literally, the feeling I have is down right sick to my stomach. Why are people negative about Barack Obama? I understand having a difference in views and opinions but HATE…why? I am not for Obama because he is black. I’m for Obama because of his policies and the sense of his character. Like I’ve said before, I feel something about him that is different and honest and feel he is for the people. I would encourage any candidate if I felt the same way about him. I don’t understand why McCain is encouraging this hate by speaking the way he does at these rallies. McCain is not speaking about the issues important to me and the policies he has I don’t agree with. But, I don’t wish him harm or hate. I just won’t vote for him…that’s all. Karma has to come and take care of McCain/Palin. All this negative energy is unbelievable…it too much. I’m not naive, believe me, I know racism but come on. I don’t see any democrats yelling out ignorance…why do republicans? Yes, Obama is a bi-racial. Yes, he has a Kenyan name. Ok, let’s move on!

I couldn’t agree more with you about McCain/Palin whipping up hatred and racism. It is despicable, dishonorable, traitorous, disgusting, pathetic and desperate. It pains me to say the reason they are doing this is because that’s all they’ve got. They are both clearly morons with no answers. Neither of them answer a question directly or have any clue how to get us out of this financial crisis. In Palin’s case she went to 5 party schools taking a total of 6 years to get her bachelors degree. In McCain’s class he graduated in the bottom 5 of his class.

Barack Obama had an academic scholarship to Harvard. I think its clear that Obama does not just have a compassionate agenda, and is even keel, but he’s also a brilliant man. Clearly, we need someone with a brain to get us out of the mess the last nit wit put us in. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that after 8 years of Bush we’re bankrupt. He did the same thing to every company he headed. He even managed to bankrupt a Texas oil company. That’s like going broke selling gold for copper. It doesn’t even make sense. I can’t tell you how angry I am that we have such an ignorant, mean spirited, doggedly small minded contingency of Americans. It is beyond sad. I used to believe most people were good. I’m starting to believe that there is a huge percentage of people who don’t want to think. They may not be “bad” people, but they just want an authoritarian style leader, they live in fear, are reactive, cloistered and unintelligent. They think of politics like some people think of sports, they’re team Red no matter how insane, or terrible their candidate might be. These people are not thinking about how their “team” will impact their life but rather they have some kind of identity wrapped up in belonging to this group. Even if it means their extinction, a global depression, their daughters inability to get an abortion if raped by a relative, or the loss of their own job. It’s just mindless! I wish they would pay attention to the actual truth, listen to the positions, look at people’s records and vote according to who is best for our country not because they want their team to win or because they can’t stand the idea of anyone other than a white person being president. Let’s face it, this is the undercurrent of the Republicans. I’ve had people post insanely racist things about Obama, which of course I deleted. I wish the media would deal with this, it’s just disgusting.

If she were on the higher end of this scale, she’d be smarter than something like 75% of the American people. That is really scary! The more we are finding out about Palin the more frightening she gets. I recently read she is a Dominion, a branch of Evangelicals who believe in ushering in the end of days, better known as Armageddon. Here’s a quick little explanation I found:

Sorry to get so angry about all of this. I just don’t like people playing dirty, being cruel or illiciting violence against others. Hate mongering makes me very angry!

We must not be passive in the face of violent hate mongers. As the famous poem states about Nazi Germany:

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist. When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I wasn’t a Jew.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

We are all going to need to be, not just compassionate, kind and honest right now, but feisty as well. We are in for some very strange and difficult times. And the kind hearted can not let themselves be trampled on any longer!

Answering Reader’s Questions…

How much do you charge for a reading? I like your answers and the way you handle the questions. I’m curious as to what kind of a president Obama would be? Other astrologers have predicted a serious occurrence at the time of the election and also around the swearing in ceremony-what’s your take on it?

I can do private readings over the phone via paypal. For a 15/20 minute reading it’s $90. I suggest doing this first so you don’t have to spend much to try me out. I can set up a time to call you and we can do the paypal transaction at the beginning of the reading, of course this would not be counted in your reading time. 15/20 minutes is generally enough to cover all of what you really need to know. Of course if you have a bunch of questions and you need a lot of information about specific stocks, etc. It would take longer and you might want to go for a 30-40 minute reading for $180 or a 60-70 minutes for $360. This is at the middle range of how much psychic phone reading costs. Or for those of you under extreme duress who really need guidance, I can do a yes/no spread and post it on the blog. Of course I’m always here for anyone wanting to ask a question in the comment section. But I won’t answer it unless it pertains to something bigger than just a personal question unless of course the issue is of dire consequence.

In reference to the later part of the question I don’t have the feeling, as I did in 2000 that the election will be thrown. Firstly, I don’t believe there is strong enough support within the Republican party to put themselves on the line for McCain, and secondly this election will not be close enough to throw. In terms of something happening during the swearing in, I’ll have to look at that. I think it’s only common sense to say that Obama is going to have to double up on the secret service, as I’m sure there will be attempts on his life. All you have to do is read some of the crazy trash people write me! And I’m just a messenger. There are a lot of violent, gun totting racists out there. I do worry about him. But we’ll deal with that when he wins.

And answering what kind of president Obama will be. I think he’s going to have an up hill battle. It’s going to be very hard for him, but he’s going to turn this economic crisis around after a few years and we’ll start to see things look up again. I think his calm demeanor and humanitarian personality will be a huge benefit to our country in our time of need, and  he will go down as an excellent president. But it will be rocky for him, there are going to be a lot of curve balls, not just with the economy, but with foreign affairs, which I’ll get into in later posts once we get through this horrible crisis.

It’s my feeling there really isn’t a person who would be better for this challenge then Obama right here and now. I think just his positive energy and slogan of hope helps uplift us even now. If we had McCain running against someone equivalent to him there would be a lot more hopelessness than there is right now. Obama represents a lot of archetypal things; he represents the American dream which a lot of people had lost hope in. He represents the idea that anything is still possible in our country, and we can’t discount how important this is to our psychology while we are facing perhaps the worst economic crisis in our history. If anything is possible, then we can get out of this, we can find a way. It is this belief in the human spirit, and American ingenuity that will translate to uplift our country. FDR, Lincoln and Kennedy had these qualities and I see them in Obama.
