Michael Jackson, Farah Fawcett & the Coverage & Fame

As Grace mentioned the connection between Michael Jackson and Karen Carpenter immediately came to my mind at the time of his death as well. I have a feeling that the real killer here was his anorexia, the drugs just made it worse.

Interestingly, the coverage of both Fawcett and Jackson’s deaths have been very odd, in my opinion. Very few of those who gave statements in the death of Jackson seemed very real, instead they focused on his career and their connection to it. Quincy Jones made sure to give the number of records sold and which records he worked on before saying he felt like he lost his “brother.” I don’t know about you, but that’s not the first thing I think about when I have tender thoughts of family members. Most of the celebrity “grief stricken statements” seemed more of an opportunity to show off their accomplishments and boil down the whole of Jackson’s life as if he were a cartoon. It’s no wonder one of the lawyers who represented him during the case against him for child molestation described Jackson as “one of the loneliest people,” he’d ever met. The only celebrity statements that seemed remotely like normal human reactions were Lisa Marie Presley, Brook Shields and Elizabeth Taylor’s.

I have to admit that I am cringing through most of the coverage of his death which seems to vacillate between extreme hyperbole (Ann Courie saying there might not be any MTV without Jackson) and turning him into a convenient way for certain celebrities to plug their own talents and importance. To say it is crass is a far too great of an understatement and the fact that the media (which itself seems to have gone the direction of placing its own head so far up its own butt that it hasn’t seen daylight in 20 years) is fanning the flames of this hyperbolic narcissistic feeding frenzy, at least hear in NPD central, Los Angeles.

And the sad documentary (which is made only that much more sad by Farrah Fawcett’s death) also seems a strange macabre ego massage. While I feel very sad for anyone who has health troubles, it seems an odd way to gain celebrity status, which has been happening as of late, some woman in GB did her death as a reality show, another dude the same, and then it seemed, in an effort to rekindle her celebrity, Fawcett allowed the documentary to be made. I’m not sure what is sicker people watching these other people suffer during the last moments of their life or the desire to be watched while walking through death’s door.

For some reason (being under the weather with nothing else on TV) I found myself watching part of the Fawcett documentary which was an odd mix or sadness, beauty (Fawcett’s journal writing about her experience was engaging and poetic) and twistedly narcissistic. She insisted on going home after having major surgery back from Europe to the US despite doctors’ warnings which I found oddly arrogant. After facing a deadly disease, going to another country for expert help, and one can only imagine facing your mortality squarely, she did the unexpected, she ignored their advice in characteristic stubborn star fashion. the normal comforting blanket of celebrity became a strange disconnect from reality, a retreat into her specialness which she paid the price for on the flight back as the doctors had warned.

It’s odd that we’ve now had a 96 hour news black out because two celebrities have died. One more infamous in recent years than famous, the others most memorable moment in the past fifteen years a bizarre seemingly drug addled interview on Letterman with “art” made by her naked body, published in Playboy when she was 50 years old, well past the expiration date on the public’s appetite for her nudity. She then came home after the expert doctors she’d gone all the way to Germany for who told her not to fly home early, which she did anyway (a typical sort of celebrity knows best sort of attitude which I’ve seen a lot here in LA) to her apartment with a giant Andy Warhol portrait of herself in the living room. She claimed to desire her privacy and was angry about people finding out about her health problems – so why the documentary detailing the nitty gritty of it? The answer to this seems to be a pathological need for attention, which appears to be the bane of the famous/infamous’ existance. Farrah’s diary entries, written and read by her in the documentary were very well written and moving, revealed a lot about the sheltered and privileged life she led when she wrote an entry about never having gone through any real sort of health problem and how she wanted her life back. While she did count her many bliessings she also infered her specialness was given by God instead of understanding that her life, as all lives have lessons and one can not rise above being human to be anything other than as special as anyone else. She seemed to lack the insight of her connection to the whole of humanity and there was a constant feeling the reason for the documentary was an indignance with her own mortality, that somehow fame which had made a goddess out of her, could not give her the one thing that a real Goddess would have, immortality. She seemed to be beffudled by the idea that she was human and had an odd percpective that her facing death was somehow anything more than what we all share. We all die. We all have pain. We all suffer. There is no escaping this, yet there seemed to be a part of her that came through that actually thought she would somehow escape the inevitbale almost as if she had never considered it until she was staring it down. And although she seemed mildly humbled when she was feeling her worst as soon as she got good news she abandoned her inner quest back to her throne. It was very odd.

I live in Los Angeles and at this point I’m not sure if this sick fascination with the “famous” is a function of the bizarre and twisted culture of Hollywood that is warping my greater view of American culture or whether American culture truly has become a tabloid, insanely obsessed, strangely narcissistic fish bowl.

As a way to escape the onslaught of Jacskson and Fawcett endless non-news stream, we turned on Bill Maher. Ironically, he actually did talk about Michael Jackson with Billy Bob Thornton, however when that interview was done MJ would still have been alive. But what struck me like another hammer over the head was the first interview with Cameron Diaz promoting her new movie, where she plays a mother who has a second child to save her first one from cancer (she needed a donor match). Interestingly, Diaz revealed a lot about the strange curse disguised as a gift, known to us commoners as “celebrity.” In her comment she mentioned that people (the public) expect her (or any celebrity) to stay the same as when the public “fell in love” with them. That said celebrity, in her case was when she was 22, which she used as an example.  She then went on to talk rather candidly with Maher about her feelings about marriage and children which she said she understood (only and purely) as a biological need to procreate. Seriously, that’s what she thought marriage and family was about. And she said she didn’t believe anyone who got married thought they would actually stay married and anyone who married held onto the security blanket of a possible divorce down the road.

Wow, I thought, she sounds like a 22 year old girl who was very immature for her age.

In a strange way she harkens back to the ancient archetype of the virgin (not what the virgin became but what it was initially which was a woman who had no need of family or men and was considered complete onto herself – she represented the girlhood phase of femininty just as say the bacholor or Peter Pan represents eternal boyhood. However virgins were dedicated to the Goddess and spent their lives in service to the spiritual path of the maiden).

But back to the point I was making about Diaz’s understanding of, let’s be honest, love. Bill Maher also suffers from the same affliction as she, an inability to really connect with others and have true empathy. You may wonder how I jumped to such a conclusion based on the interview and her rather shallow portrayals on film. Well, I’ll break it down. Firstly, there is partial truth to the need for procreation and for most people this is how they leave their mark on the world through their family. However more important than that basic primal desire is what is masked underneath that desire, and that desire is the desire to be one with another living being – to find connection. Sexuality in most ancient cultures was actually seen as a way to connect with the divine through feeling the oneness and the living spirit of God/Goddess in your partner. Sure, now sex has been turned in on itself to control people with, turning their most primal and spiritual desires into something to be disgusted and embarassed about so the 3rd party religious institution can rid a person of their sin and make them holy again through disconnecting them to the very source of the spirit of the Creator. It is through sexuality that we become divine/co-creators or potential co-creators (at least in a physical/symbolic way)  in the ever expanding universe.

It was interesting to see Maher and Diaz, two sides of the same coin, sitting across the table from one another, each wearing a different mask but unknowingly of the same distorted viewpoint. Diaz representing what she said were the many “opportunities” she had been presented with unlike her parents and Maher, who I suspect never got past some twisted Freudian relationship with his mother, both so empty and insecure and afraid to be vulnerable to anyone, preferring to stay frozen in time and in control at all costs. I say this because one of the greatest gifts of romantic love is being out of control, losing your mind and then seeing yourself through the mirror of your partner who challenges you to be a better human being, not neccessarily richer, or a bigger star, but a more evolved soul, something most of Hollywood is completey unconcerned about. It’s interesting here as an aside to note, that the card representing the film/TV industry is the Devil card in the tarot. I had been told this by several readers and then put it to the test only to find it was true. When reflecting on why this would be I realized that the grueling work schedules and focus on material things and status are the greatest fixation for the vast majority of people who participate in the industry. There is a one-upmanship unprecidented in any other field and a vaccous need to be the most famous of the famous, which of course is born of great insecurity, shame and narcissism (which by defination is a shame disorder but that’s another aside).

I’ve seen (because again I lived in LA for a very long time and you can infere what you want…) a pattern among celebrities or people who attain a level of fame. The best metaphor I could come up with was imagine that these individuals are flowers in a field and plucked and pressed in a book, dried to perfection and kept forever in this state. Their life stays frozen. Their spiritual growth frozen, because no one will confront them anymore for fear of their status (by being friends/lovers or whatever of the famous person) will be lost by a blow off. Even the most evolved souls who truly seek out ways to improve their spirits suffer under the weight of being plucked and pressed, losing their roots and being isolated, stared at, admired from a far for appearance only, and being under a constant microscope.

Fame is a killer, like heroine it is addictive and intensly destructive yet most Americans suffer under the delusion that it’s something to be desired and like a magic potion will solve all of their trouble if only they could be rich and famous like the celebrities they adore.  So many people that go into the performing arts do it for the sake of fame and believe the lie that life will be fixed on the other side. A belief I’m sure Kurt Cobain had as so may other rock stars before him, only to find that wherever you run there you are, and being famous doesn’t change you, you  just have a thousand eyes watching every move you make, judging, reporting and admiring, heightening the insecurity and shame felt pre-fame. I’m quite sure this is why so many celebrities (especially musicians who carve their own path and whose success is more dependant on their ambition than actors whose fates are more at the whim of circumstance) die horrible premature deaths, hooked on drugs, unable to enjoy a decent salad due to body dismorphia, completely alone because no one is willing to be honest (although most celebrities would just rid themselves of anyone honest so that’s a self-created problem) and confused, taken advantage of, but hey, they get to live in houses so big they probably only use one percent of the space they own, and wear clothing that costs more than some people’s homes. Seems like a fair trade.

I want to say here that I don’t believe in romanticizing people after death. Perhaps because I know the souls of all individuals proceed and are eternal, I don’t feel there is any use in lying. When Nixon died he became Saint Nixon, Reagan an Angel. We learn nothing from the lives of those we have had the privelage to watch if we do so dishonestly. I am not criticizing these individuals. I am criticizing the disturbing way our culture fixates on certain individuals to the point of their destruction. I truly feel pity for those who spend their lives chasing fame, fortune, and status. It all too often leads to a lonely life spent chasing a phantom carrot. For the souls who have crossed over, all of them, not just those whom we have seen on TV, may their spirits be guided to the light as peace and love consume them.

I give myself readings on occasion, as do several of my “psychic”/”6th sensory” friends. I’ve always found my own readings to be very insightful, accurate and helpful. ‘Impossible’ seems to be an off-the-mark adjective? Difficult perhaps? But impossible? Just looking for clarification. Also, I’m wondering, surely along with many others, when do you see life becoming less of a struggle for most of us? My gut tells me it’s going to be awhile, which is a strong contradiction to the last eight years or so of my life’s activities for the path I’m on. While I have read each of your entries word for word, some more than once, I’ve not seen a mention of when the new lifestyles we will all ENJOY (yes, that’s right, all of what’s going on is for the better) might settle into a sustainable routine for the majority of mankind, globally? Thanks for your post.

Certainly, my statement is hyperbole. I have done readings for myself as you mentioned so have my psychic friends. However it is really, really hard to interpret and not the same as getting a reading from someone else. The closest thing to get an objective reading in that way, that I’ve found is with the Medicine Cards. That’s really what I was trying to say. Yes/No spread of course is the easiest to delineate, clear, concise and not open for interpretation, it takes the subjectiveness out of what can be a maze in terms of interpretation for the Rider-Waite based tarot.

In answer to the second part of your question, yes, around the end of 2011 beginning of 2012, although I feel the worst of it will be felt the next couple of years. I do feel it will be a lifestyle shift for all of us for the better, one we were in desperate need for. I feel many of us will learn to cherish things that are truly important and be better for it.

Hello everyone. Hope you all have had a wonderful start to the new year. I’m going to do a post (over the weekend) explaining how to figure out your personal year (numerology) and what it means for you. It’s pretty fun and always interesting to look back and see the cycles of your own life. In numerology you go through years 1-9 and then start over again. And from my own observation there does seem to be resonance when looking back 9 years prior. It’s not the same of course, but the issues do seem to have cross over. But I’ll save that for later.

Hi Sallyy,

I checked out the C.C. Zain book after you mentioned it on the blog, but only in a cursory way. It looked good to me. I learned from a person from the Brotherhood of Light, but I did read a zillion books about tarot before that happened, and found most of them to be rather unhelpful. It was always like a bad cook book where you had to look up things, and try to apply too many interpretations to a card. Which is why early on I chucked my Rider-Waite deck and book, and used the Motherpeace deck. It was much easier for me to relate to, and to read without having to look everything up; I could use its images to unleash associations and focus on the person.

Actually this is really how using the cards work best. More as a tool like a scrying mirror or crystal ball would work, but with more to go off of. The best astrologers and numerologists work this way as well. That being said you can learn the craft of reading which is rooted in the Kabbalah, and numerology.

It looked like the Zain book actually delved into this quite a bit, however the writing seemed a bit arcane and well, occult. If you have done a lot of reading on the subject it probably will all make sense, if not it might be kind of dense. However, the book is down loadable for free so you might as well read it! My other suggestion would be to really research all the decks that are out there and find one that speaks to you and practice reading your friends. When doing this, first clear your mind, do a protection and ask your higher self/God/Goddess/Universe/Creator whatever your personal connection is to the divine, to give you the absolute truth while you read. It is also helpful to have a visualization you do before reading. I imagine a light switch, and then a damn breaking, and all the water from my subconscious coming through to my conscious mind. You might want to visualize turning on a faucet, or opening the third eye chakra, or whatever you want, just something that makes sense to you and allows you to focus while letting the Universe know you are connected and ready to receive information.

Hi Denise; I was looking at the transits to the USA natal chart; would you please comment regarding the transiting Saturn conjunct natal Neptune and square natal mars? Also on today’s trigger transiting Mars opposite natal financial Venus and transiting Pluto applying opposition to natal financial Venus (mid January to end of March)? I have read on financial astrology sites, that this chart is used also for the US dollar. I would appreciate your insight. kind regards, Steven

I’ll post the different US charts here and we can talk about them. There are actually 3 but I’m only going to post 2, because these 2 seem the most significant to me. They are the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution signing. Here they are:

Looking at both of these charts and the date of 9-29-2008 when we had the -777 plunge, they are both pretty awful but it seems that the Declartion chart describes in greater detail what happened and with more clarity. The fall can be seen in both through different aspects but since the Declaration chart seems to be more in keeping with the financial crisis let’s go ahead and use it to answer your question.

Quite honestly I was hoping that the Signing chart was going to be more accurate because it would be less painful but with all those planets in the 8th house of the financial industry and other people’s money in Cancer at early degrees, Yikes! Pluto is going to make hard core oppositions to this starting around inauguration. To make it worse Pluto which rules this chart will be opposing Venus (money) and in the 8th house.  And then as Pluto progresses it will hit Jupiter, then the Sun and finally Mercury making this period of adjustment a long one.

In terms of transiting Saturn conjuncting natal Neptune that is in the Signing chart and won’t be felt until the fall of 2011. This transit will first trigger a trine to Pluto and then to natal Saturn so it could actually be more related to the re-structuring of the international banking laws for the better and trigger a new power structure in regards to how the global economy works.

However in the Declaration chart Saturn will be making a square to all those Cancer planets starting at the end of November and this could add extra strain on the economy as issues relating to the law and more wall street scandals both come out and are prosecuted. This will also trigger new regulations.

So in regards to your question, “Also on today’s trigger transiting Mars opposite natal financial Venus and transiting Pluto applying opposition to natal financial Venus (mid January to end of March)?” What those astrologers are referring to with transiting Mars is a trigger. It’s Pluto that is doing the major damage but Mars will help it along and kick it off this will happen around the 18/19th of March 2009, also the Moon will be in Cap, adding extra oomph to the whole thing. That could also be a very bad day for the stock market and the value of our money.

I hope you are doing well and I continue to enjoy your blog. I don’t know why but I am picking up some really ‘negative’ (and I hate to use that term) vibes from the Clinton’s. I don’t know if I am picking up Bill’s resistance on releasing financial records or if they are trying to play their hand a little too hard behind the scenes but something feels ‘off’. I definately feel that Hillary is capable but there is an undercurrent somewhere with she or her husband that doesn’t feel right.

Hi Wyntyr, I think you’re right, and I feel it’s coming from Bill. I think he’s a bit of a rooster and an alpha dog. I don’t think he likes the idea of his woman being someone else’s even if it is just politically. This is why initially my feeling was Hillary would not be in Obama’s cabinet, but I feel something switched in her on the campaign trail, and feel she is a very good person who will see this as an opportunity to help where she could really do some good.

Also it would cause problems for Bill’s foundation, and he seems pretty self-centered, so I doubt he’d want to put that on hold to help his wife’s career (that much). But you never know! I think she wants the job. And he TOTALLY OWES HER! And she’ll remind him of that! She probably already has numerous times. He deserves a bit of her wrath.

I have the feeling that taking the position of Secretary of State would put her in a better position to become President next time around, because it will add diversity to her political resume. I’m sure she knows this.

I do have the feeling Bill is pressuring her to turn the job down, and I sense a bit of confusion on what to do. Hillary if your out there, take the job! It will be great for you! And you will do far more good in this position then being one of a hundred senators.

I love your blog and have become addicted to it (in a good way, of course) …. what will happen to Joe Lieberman? I feel he can’t be trusted and the Democrats should throw him back to the Republicans, since that seems to be his comfort zone.

Also, as a Floridian, I’m interested in the political futures of current Governor Charlie Crist, and former Governor Jeb Bush. I’ve had enough of the Bushies and their ilk, but I somehow don’t think either of these guys is going away anytime soon.

Hi Norah,

The first part of your question has been answered in recent news, Senator Lieberman is caucusing with the Democrats. In my opinion he is a slimy traitor to his own party, and then kisses the butt of whoever is in power. He really betrayed Obama, after Obama saved his butt in the past, but perhaps this is a lesson in turning the other cheek, which proves Obama is more of a Christian then any President we’ve had in a long time. He doesn’t just pay lip service to the religion. He really seems to live by the testaments and walk the walk, unlike so many others.

It’s ironic people would think him a Muslim when he actually seems more devoutly and truly religiously Christian then any politician in recent memory but oh, well. At this point I think most of us know that the way the word Christian is bandied about and more often has to do with being in a club then actually following the words of Christ, or you wouldn’t have hate mongers, domestic terrorists (people who bomb womens’ clinics, murdering doctors, women and babies) and racist freaks calling themselves Christian.

The religion itself is actually quite beautiful if one lives by the message of Christ rather then falling back on the old testament when convenient to play the hate card. Not to say there aren’t people out there who really do live by Christ’s teachings. I’ve met many and they are amazing people.

OK now onto Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist. Since I don’t have a time of birth on either of these guys I ran solar charts. Their rising will be different because of this, and of course, because the moon moves so fast, the degree of their moon will more than likely be different unless they happened to be born at noon. But I can get some basic info on the inner workings of their soul, and personality based on just their solar charts. So here goes:

OK Charlie, the first thing I got when I looked at a picture of him (I’d never seen him before, I live in LA where are news consists of who won “Dancing with the Stars” and telling everyone its raining outside when its raining outside, actually stopping programming to burst in with updates about drizzle, very annoying.) My first impression was he had heart problems. He may not know this yet, but he has a gray palour to his aura that I’ve seen in people with serious health issues, and if he hasn’t had an incident yet, he’d better go to a doctor as he will soon have a problem (within the next couple of years.) 

In terms of his personality, he’s very out there, probably very charismatic if you were to meet him in real life. He seems pretty open on the surface, and clear, but with that Mars in Pisces as the centerpiece of a Yod between Neptune and Pluto, he’s really not. He’s very sneaky, secretive, passive aggressive, and manipulative. I’m sure though he’s well liked, and I’m not saying he’s a terrible guy, But with all that Leo bravado opposed by a cool Aquarian moon, and then this Yod, I’d say he’s more interested in power, attention and privelage then he is in serving the greater good.

His Aquarian moon may give him some humanitarian tendencies and he may even tell himself he’s doing things to make the world a better place, but really he has to fight the tendency to use his moon to rationaliize his own selfish desire for power, and his dirty fighting and belief that the “ends justify the means,” type of thinking, telling himself he’s doing bad things for a greater purpose when really he’s not, he’s doing it for himself, and using causes to hide behind.

Now I have to be honest, I know absolutely nothing about this guy, his policies, how he ran his election so you’ll have to tell me what his campaign, and administration have looked like so far. I didn’t know anything about him until you posted this question and didn’t look at anything but his birth info so I wouldn’t be tainted while reading him. I have no idea about his record, I am just going on his chart.

In terms of a future in politics, Uranus will be going into Aries in 2011 and start to make a trine to all his Leo planets giving him good luck and raising his public profile. So there is a very good chance he could win another election as governer as Uranus will go from trining his Sun to his natal Uranus, then Mercury, then finally Pluto much later. That perhaps will be when he tries or potentially has a real chance to go for the white house or a much higher position in government if he wants to. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this guy, I think its just the beginning for him. 

Now Jeb Bush:

My first instinct about Jeb Bush — he’s tired. I get the feeling he’s worn out by politics even though he’s got an incredible drive for power with that Pluto – Sun opposition in his chart. With that Moon in Capricorn opposite the Uranus in Cancer, he probably didn’t see his childhood as being all that idillyic and he’s pretty emotionally shut down. His chart does not show a lot of compassion for women and he probably has pretty hostile love relationships, were there is a lot of fighting. He likes a woman who is strong and fights him back. But he also resents it. He is much smarter then his brother with Sun conjunct Mercury trining his Saturn conjunct Neptune. He’s a very smart guy. I wonder if his personal life gets in the way of his political ambitions, not directly, but I feel he gets absorbed in his relationships and has trouble balancing things. Also this Pluto sun opposition inconjuncting his Moon makes me feel like its sort of the family business and he’s not entirely sold on it.

That being said Uranus will go over his Mars around 2011. In his case I’d have to see where this falls in his chart to tell how it will manifest. Sometimes this aspect can cause accidents especially injury to the head. But hopefully not, hopefully it will cause some sort of intellectual inspiration and a change of heart in his life for the better. I don’t get the feeling at this point though that he’s going to be all that involved in politics for awhile. Maybe ever again. I feel his energy waning in that direction. Maybe he’ll change his mind down the road but for now he’s walked off this path.

The S&P is currently at around 870 , at its lowest point of the coming severe recession depression, will it reach 600? or perhaps even 400?

I will ask the tarot: 

Will the S&P reach 600 in the next few months: Maybe. It looks like that depends on what gets decided over the next few months with the auto makers. If they go under the S&P will go down.

Now I’ll ask if it will get down to 400 in the next few months: A bizarre answer as all the cards are positive, but the answer is also a yes. Perhaps it will bottom out first and turn around pretty quickly. It seems there will be a horror show, a major down turn and then suddenly good news out of the blue which will cause new opportunity and a sense of victory. I have no idea what this could be.

I’m getting the feeling that the market will be extremely volatile, but there will be some measures taken by the new administration in the face of this very frightening time coming up, that will reinstate confidence in the market and turn it around, but it doesn’t look permanent at first. It seems that the market will plunge and then rally, in a similar way as the Dow, but will ultimately go through a major transformation and there will be new laws put in place that will end up first freaking out the S&P, these laws will help us avoid future calamity, but will scare investors. It may take a couple of years or more for this market to again really stabilize and heal.

I have to go my baby is crying. So I will answer the next set of questions and hopefully more tomorrow.

First I asked the question to the tarot: Will Obama be forced to implement single payer healthcare?

The tarot answered: Yes.

It looks like money is the main reason. There won’t be enough of it to go around with so many companies going under. And he will be forced to rethink the healthcare situation. But it looks like it will draw on other strengths and cover people who are unemployed as well. So it may actually be better then what he originally proposed.  It looks like the role of private companies won’t be as great in this new plan. They will not be able to take the burden on. (I have to admit I didn’t know what you were referencing until after I did the reading and interpretation, I then googled the term.)

And thanks so much for the updated McCain information! Actually this chart is better in many ways. His Aquarius moon explains his “maverick” status and eleviates some of the bad aspects the other chart had made to the economy. This being said, I have seen the “wrong” chart be more accurate about a particular situation then a person’s natal, this is akin to horary astrology in how it works. There was some reason the universe put this out there, and this off chart actually fit McCain during this very negative campaign much more than his real natal chart, which he now seems to be manifesting again. That being said, his chart still has many bad aspects to the Dow, and would have made the economic crisis much worse than Obama’s.

Also its interesting to note that I have seen people with a preponderance of planets in the 7th (a stellium in astrological terms) house have either narcissistic tendencies or outright NPD. Both McCain and Palin have this chart configuration. The reason being is the 7th house is the public, partners and public enemies, it is what we project onto others and people with NPD (or those with NPD tendencies) are not introspective, but rather blame others for their mistakes because they can’t deal with their own imperfections.  I’ll go into an an analysis of the two of them in the next post as there is a question relating to it coming up.

Now on to answering the other question of whether 9/11 was orchestrated by Bush/Cheney. The answer in short is, no. But, I do believe they knew it was going to happen, and used it to their advantage in the same way FDR used Pearl Harbor to get us into WWII, something we as a country did not want to get into after WWI. Of course in FDR’s case we had a moral obligation to save Europe, and weren’t using a horrific event to start a “preemptive war,” or more appropriately to invade a sovereign nation, but rather to save democracy in Europe, and millions more from genocide.

The months leading up to 9/11 I had dreams of being in falling skyscrapers. The tower card, which if you’ve ever seen it literally looks like the images of those that were taken on 9/11, came up no matter who or what I did a reading for. On 9/10 I couldn’t sleep, had a terrible feeling something horrible was going to happen. I stayed up all night and by chance turned on the TV just as the first plane struck the world trade center. I called some family members and friends, told them the reporters were wrong it wasn’t an accident, then the next airplane struck.

I was on the phone with my mother when I told her it was Bin Laden and that both towers were going to fall. I don’t believe the conspiracy theories about explosives already being in those buildings, my father was an architectural engineer, and the fact that those towers were so massive, and the skeleton of those buildings was metal, it was just physics at that point that told me, they would fall. The intensity of the heat bent the frame  and the weight of the building did the rest making it collapse story by story. It’s logical. I know some disagree with me, but it really is logic and perhaps I had the advantage of having those falling skyscraper dreams to prepare me for it, so it wasn’t a surprise.

A friend of mine called later that morning, and told me he felt it was Cheney/Bush who had done the deed and I told him, no, it was Bin Laden they’re just going to take advantage of it. I was sure they knew about it, actually I would go as far as saying they let it happen on purpose, but they did not directly do it. I just don’t have that feeling. Never did. I think the conspiracy here is that they had more than just a memo that Condy ignored, they allowed the atrocity to happen so they could use the fear and pain to bulldoze the constitution, expand the power of the executive branch and control of the government. They didn’t need to do the deed, there are enough people in the world who hate us for our policies in the middle-east. But they are guilty of not stopping it and guilty of using it to their advantage and just as guilty of those who did do it because they knew and did nothing to stop it.

I believe that if the Supreme Court hadn’t appointed Bush, and the recount would have happened, and Gore then would have won; 9/11 would have been stopped. I remember a speech Gore gave just before election day that had the weird, eerie feeling of being a premonition — he mentioned it was our country’s choice whether we would wake up to birds singing, and rainbows or to a stormy day, something to that effect at least. I took note of it, and boy was he ever right in his prediction.

I’m going to put up the new chart I have on McCain with Sarah Palin’s chart and let you look at how similar they are in many ways. Then do some analysis.

It’s no wonder Palin likes to kill things with that Sun, Mars, Saturn conjunction! Man that’s aggressive and insanely ambitious. But her chart is better suited to her previous career of being a sports caster. However, with that Venus in Aries in the 8th she loves her some power and is very egomanical, and being a sports caster doesn’t give the same satisfaction as bossing around her minions and asserting her warped belief system on the masses.

Now, actually McCain and Palin do have a lot of positive aspects between the two so I would bet they actually do really like each other personally, but with Palin’s Pluto on McCain’s Neptune he would have felt her to be too controlling and once they were partners, he doubted her loyalty to him, and had fears she would try to out manevuer him (and rightly so).

With her stellium in Aquarius and his in Virgo, both in late degrees inconjuncting one another, it would have been hard keeping them together as this indicates a parting of ways. I doubt they’ll be going out to coffee anytime soon, but there is a genuine fondness between them. However, their staffs, well that’s another story. Based on their charts the people that work for each of them would have found the opposite team grating, annoying and difficult.

Now onto the next part of the question. I’ve wondered that myself. I’ll ask the tarot.

The authorities are not currently aware or looking into AIP seriously at this point.

I asked the tarot if AIP was planning some sort of terrorism against the US. The answer was: Maybe.

But the scary thing, is that the tower card came up, right side up this time, Death reversed at the center. (There were a bunch of negative cards) let me just say that it looks like there is something in the works down the road, I feel it is bubbling, but at this point it may not come to pass. Back to money and such, could you run charts on Oil and Gold futures?

here are two ways to follow oil; they should have similar results :
NYMEX Crude Oil Futures started trading on 3/30/1983 on the New York Mercantile Exchange (also began on Chicago Board of Trade that day, but it no longer trades there), at either 9AM or 1030AM – prob 1030am. NYMEX symbol CL (not to be confused with the stock CL, trading on NYSE [ny stock exchange])

USO, United States Oil Fund, an exchange-traded fund, started trading 4/10/2006, NYSE, 930 AM

Similar two ways for gold, and they should look the same, too:
Commodities Exchange, Inc. (COMEX) Gold futures began trading at 1201AM on 12/31/1974, New York; COMEX and NYMEX merged in 1994 and the NYMEX symbol is GC

GLD, Spdr Gold Trust, an exchange-traded fund, began trading 11/18/2004 on the NYSE, 930AM.

I don’t know if this affects the chart, but any of these would have been “born” – created – before those dates, but the only thing that’s easily available is the day they began trading publicly.

Thanks for the excellent and detailed information, it makes my job so much easier! The public trading date is the one that would matter in this case since we are looking at what its going to do in the public arena. I ran all the charts. Here are the oil charts with analysis to follow:

I really want to study these charts some more before I give an analysis, because the aspects are complicated there are both good and bad things going on and I want to make sure to give sound advice. I will look at this and the oil question, ponder it tonight, and write a detailed post regarding this. I don’t want to mislead anyone, so I think its important to be thorough here.

Hi Javahaa: Sorry to put this issue off, but there are multiple charts and its complicated. I don’t want to  potentially be responsible for someone making a bad decision in terms of their investments. I will again post more detailed analysis on the S&P 500 tomorrow. I think I should really just do a post all about issues regarding money tomorrow. It is a bit complicated when there is more than one chart for something. I have a lot more to weigh, and compare so I don’t want to give bad advice.

OK, I had a bunch of bad, creepy dreams about Alaska. I posted what I thought they meant. I’m not saying it wasn’t one manifestation of those creepy dreams, but it looks like something very fishy did indeed go on up there! It’s just coming out now. We are just starting to see the skeletons shake loose from her closet. In the post where I mentioned there being a very good chance she might be impeached as governor, I also talked about how there was a mess of ugly stuff being hidden about Palin. 

I asked the tarot if she would be impeached:

She has a lot of enemies as I said in that prior post, and at the center of all this is gossip. The impeachment energy could be her ousting from the political arena once she’s served her term as governor never to be seen or heard from again. There is a lot of dirt on this woman. It isn’t over yet! The cards basically say, she may manage to keep her job as governor, but it won’t matter because her political career will be ruined by the end of her term.

Also in that previous posting I remember she has some bad aspects to her 7th house, the house of open enemies and the public. I said she had a bunch of enemies, people who would try to destroy her. It looks like this might end up coming from the McCain camp! They’re calling her a Diva, a hillbilly and saying she didn’t know Africa is a continent. That is pretty nasty stuff.

Hi Sunbeyond:

No, the bottom hasn’t come yet. The aspect goes exact at the end of December and into January 21/22 of 2009, until about the time when Obama is inaugurated. Then the horrible aspect receeds, giving the market a bit of a break. But it will come and go over the next year. I will remind everyone when the next exact aspect is about to happen so those who want to get out can do so before there’s another major drop. Here are the dates for future reference: The aspect goes exact again on 6/21/09 or 6/22/09 until 8/5/09 or 8/6/09, then comes back again 10/18/09 or 10/19/09 until 11/24/09 or 11/25/09. After that we will go through some smaller crisis, but be out of the major storm. 

In essence what I’m saying is the market is going to be crazy volatile and require major restructuring for the next year. Obama’s chart does soften these aspects so believe it or not (and you won’t because its going to be bad) it would have been a million times worse with McCain’s chart interacting with the Dow. Obama will lesson the effect of this crazy market. Not that he can pull butterflies out of the air and walk on water, just that he will be able to get it under control, and steer it toward the restructuring side of these aspects rather than the death side of these aspects.

The answer:

Again a maybe with the tower reversed in the center. The moon card, stuff going on behind the scenes. I take this to be that there is some serious maleficence going on in PA. Voter fraud? Or perhaps voters being scared by McCain’s recent trip there into changing their minds. But Obama has great support. And since McCain had a definite no.

I’m going to say PA will have some weird stuff happen. It is not going to be clear cut, and a winner may not be called right away. I think we will see shades of 2000 here. It may require a recount, and then Obama will be the winner even though by that point people will feel his win was shaky, which is why it always comes up as a maybe.

In this case it looks like Palin has scared a lot of voters away from Obama. She is the centerpiece here of the reading, and it looks like she’s appealing to the fear and xenophobia. There will be some very strong supporters working to turn it around, but right now it looks like PA will not go to Obama. Even among Obama supporters there has been a walking away. I don’t know why. I could speculate, but I’m going to leave it here for now and maybe re-visit this issue in a few days. I’m very surprised to see this, I was just watching the news, and they predicted a solid win for Obama in PA. Odd.

The cards say: Yes. But I find it hard to believe as this is McCain’s home state and traditionally red. But according to the cards, it’s a pretty strong yes. It looks like it could be because of the hispanic vote which is really going for Obama. And McCain is seen as married to the establishment, also to the problems going on in the world right now and the Bush administration.

I’m getting the feeling there will be some Republican dirty tricks. I have a feeling it has something to do with Sarah Palin. When I asked the question, she popped into my head and she shows up in the cards along with the devil card. So it seems she’s going to try and scare the you know what out of the people of that state in the coming week. There is going to be some serious confusion. But I saw the state turn blue on the map. So I feel that this state will go to Obama, but there will be some strange stuff happening here. It may not be cut and dried right away.

Yes. It will be by a much bigger margin then expected. A lot of women are going to go out and vote, and I don’t mean the Sarah Palin types. Also young people, more then expected.

Wow! According to the cards, Yes.

And it will be a huge upset to the Republican establishment there. It looks like there is a major change going on down there, and again, young people and the message of change, hope and a new beginning for the country is going to play very well. There is a possibility of a crisis down there that could give the lead to Obama/Biden. The tower card comes up. It may very well be another economic hit that gets the elderly people living off their retirement funds very nervous, nervous enough to go for the guy who has a plan and won’t gamble their social security in the stock market. Also the issue of health care with this economic tsunami, may have the elderly feeling they need to vote Obama/Biden.

I immediately had the feeling that there is a tremendous amount of racism at play in this particular area. Unfortunately, there is too much confusion about who Obama is, the belief he’s a Muslim and all that crazy right wing stuff, has a much greater foot hold in this state. Why? I don’t know. But Obama/Biden will have supporters and not loose by an overwhelming amount.

Will Obama/Biden win NV?

The cards say: Yes

They literally jumped out of the deck. But my instincts feel this will be more of a reactive vote against McCain then for Obama/Biden. The economy is the main focus here, and a feeling that McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin was such a disaster there isn’t any trust for his judgement in solving the economic problems. 

Will Obama/Biden win VA?

I got a very odd answer. The tower came up, just as it did for Florida. Again election tampering (fraud, suppression) but in this case it looks like it won’t be clear who won the state for a little while. It looks like a court case may come out of this. And ultimately Obama/Biden will win. But chances are it will go to court first and we might not know who won the state right away.

Will Obama/Biden win IN?

The tarot says: Yes

Will Obama/Biden win North Carolina?

No. 

Will Obama/Biden win by a landslide?

Yes.

But not as big as some would think. It maybe a bit of a nail biter. Obama is so far ahead in the polls but because of voter suppression and other dirty tricks it may not look like as big of a landslide as it actually is. Some of the same old 2000 & 2004 tricks will be tried, but this time it will not effect the final outcome. In fact I think we’ll see future laws put into place because of these same Republican dirty tricks being used again and this time the tricks will be exposed and Democrats will be in the majority. 

The next question comes from me. 

Will the Democrats win the 60 needed seats to have a true majority?

And the answer:

Just barely. But Yes. It will probably be exactly 60 or just over it.

I hope that you had a Happy Halloween and a good weekend! I looked up Cindy McCain’s birthday. Her full name is Cindy Lou Hensley McCain and her DOB is 5/20/1954. I haven’t found her birth ‘time’.  I know John McCain would definately not be where he is today without her ‘money’ as she is quite wealthy. Remember McCain couldn’t even remember how many houses they own? lol On a personal level, she gives me bad vibes. In this case it looks like Palin has scared a lot of voters away from Obama. She is the centerpiece here of the reading, and it looks like she’s appealing to the fear and xenophobia. There will be some very strong supporters working to turn it around, but right now it looks like PA will not go to Obama. Even among Obama supporters there has been a walking away. I don’t know why. I could speculate, but I’m going to leave it here for now and maybe re-visit this issue in a few days. I’m very surprised to see this, I was just watching the news, and they predicted a solid win for Obama in PA. Odd.

I am so glad that you answered this post. For many reasons. I agree with you that we will see many radical hate individuals, groups, etc. in the coming years. Because people are really hurting due to the economy, losing jobs, and their life savings there are going to be people that are going to strike out in hate. Like that will solve anything. It’s sad. But, by explaining things as articulately as you do then maybe people can be forewarned and educated so that we maybe keep the violence to a minimum. We really all have to band together as a nation of citizen’s and look after one another no matter what our race or religion. And, thank you for bringing up the ‘Christian’ factor. I live in a state (NC) where one of our senators (R-Elizabeth Dole) has just released one of the most vile, horrific television ads against her democratic opponent Kay Hagan by calling her Godless and falsely fabricating an audiotape. It is honestly one of the filthiest ads I have ever seen televised. I intuitively feel (R) Elizabeth Dole will lose her seat in NC and wonder what your thoughts are? We have a funky ballot in our state this year which will probably cost Obama our state because so many people are choosing a straight ticket and are forgetting to select their Presidential choice at the top of the ballot (which coincides with your NC prediction) but I am hoping that Dole gets bumped out as she doesn’t deserve a place in politics.  Thank you again for your dedication and wisdom! Hi Wyntyr, I don’t live in NC, but I did see the ad on either Countdown with Keith Olbermann or the Rachel Maddow Show tonight. I had seen your post and had the news on in the background so I made sure to pay attention to that part of the broadcast. Wow, it was really disgusting. And kind of insane on top of everything else. I couldn’t really tell what the point was other then making Dole seem like a paranoid nut jobber. So let’s ask the cards your question.

Something is up. I keep getting the tower card reversed in almost every reading. Hi Flyer:

You can take your money out of the stock market and put it into a FDIC insured CD for now. There won’t be any penalties because you’re just moving it. Since the economy is going to get worse before it gets better there is talk of allowing people to take out money early to help them get by (actually Obama already alluded to this) without any sort of penalty. I’m not sure how much that will be. The main thing is the stock market is going to really bottom out at the end of December and into January because Pluto will go over the first house. It will also oppose Uranus and will seem out of the blue. The market may appear to be getting better before this happens. And once Pluto goes over the market’s first house we will see a real tsunami, globally and very clearly. All that has been hidden will come out. It isn’t going to be pretty.

I personally took everything out of the market (it was just one money market IRA but still) and put it into a FDIC insured CD IRA the day before I started this blog, back around mid-September of this year because I kept hearing a voice tell me to get out. That was the inspiration for this blog. I wanted other people, especially those getting ready to retire to be able to save what they’ve worked their whole lives for. I felt if one person listened and was inspired to get out, and it saved them from going broke, it was worth it. I have no idea if anyone listened. I hope someone did.

But anyway, back to your question. The market is going to remain extremely volatile as this Pluto aspect keeps happening, it will go back and forth over the first house for the next few years. So I personally think it’s too risky to invest in for anyone who isn’t a mulit-billionaire. I’m sorry if you have lost money already. It makes the whole equation a lot more difficult. I hope that is not the case, but chances are you have. In that case I would use your intuition to pull out when the market is up enough for you to recover some or most of what you have lost. If you can pull out before late December, do it! Hope that helps some.

You are right. They are run by Rupert Murdoch and have had many lawsuits slapped on them because it is basically just a front for Murdoch’s personal agenda of pushing for traditional Republican idealogy –more deregulation. I find it ironic that he bought the stock exchange this summer and according to what I have heard has lost a fortune because of it. Ironic, because it was the pushing of deregulation that has and will be the collapse of the market. But anyway. I was just saying to my husband tonight that I believe FOX news will shrivel up.

Good question. I thought it was really moving, but you never know how people are going to take this sort of thing so lets ask the cards.

I think it will hurt them as their will be a viscious spin from the Republicans about how he spent all this money. Already we’re seeing McCain question where he got all his money. It isn’t going to hurt him among his supporters, but it doesn’t look like it will have convinced those people who are racist of anything other then he has a lot of money. John McCain is going to work the whole angle of how he’s the poor underdog, big time, again playing to that xenophobic crowd. Sadly, these people don’t seem to have a heart to touch.

I must say this is the first time in my entire life that I’ve felt like I was voting for someone I want to be president instead of a lesser of two evils scenario. I felt that commercial was excellent, it made me cry (this could be partially hormonal, you ladies out there know what I’m talking about.) You could really feel the goodness, honor, caring, compassion and genuineness of Obama despite the slickness of the documentary style commercial. I felt it really did highlight how special Obama is. It reminded me of what people told me about voting for Kennedy. Many people felt this intense love for him, felt he represented a new hopeful future. I feel that way about Obama. He is the first politician I actually feel is involved in politics because he wants to make the world a better place instead of for his own personal gain. (Having said that I do like other people like Hillary and Bill and many others, but they don’t have the same purity of spirit Obama has.)

Lori Denise, I just want you to know your site is helping me keep sane right now in these last few days before the election! I am checking the data sites like fivethirtyeight.com, which is wonderful but I felt that wasn’t taking into account things like Republican dirty tricks, which is why I went in search of more intuitive information. I think the cards might be right about Montana and Arizona, strange as it may seem, because it fits with the way the polls have been going lately. (I have family and friends in Montana and they all have voted early for Obama and some have even helped with the campaign–as a whole the state is conservative of course but they might like Obama’s outsider status). I am wondering what we can do about the hate crimes and xenophobia that may be brewing over the next few years. I wonder that myself. Unfortunately, we live in a world where we take three steps forward and two back. There will always be entropy and order, shadow and light, good and bad. I’ve travelled all over the world and hatred is everywhere, it takes different forms. Prejudiced people in England don’t like the French. The Australians bigots don’t like the Aborigines. And of course everyone hates the Jews. That’s a pretty universal one. I could go on, but you know what I’m talking about. It’s just human nature. People seem to need a whipping boy. They seem to need someone to feel superior to. Of course not everyone has that problem. But we all have some prejudices taught to us as children and left unchecked they can take root and become ugly.

A friend of mine recently told me he found liberal racism more insidious because liberals try to hide their prejudice. Actually, being half Jewish I have to disagree with him as I would have been gassed if I lived in Germany in the 30s, and was often called a kike, even though my mom was Catholic.

Personally, I appreciate when people keep their anti-semitism to themselves. It’s what I call considerate. These liberal types are not the sort who will murder you. Some may not trust you immediately, but they at least give you a chance. And they try to be open. Even if they have to fight themselves to do it — this just makes me respect those people more! It means they are working against their shadow self by trying to be better people. That is honorable and about all we can expect from anyone.

Recognizing our prejudices, acknowledging them, and keeping them in check when they rear up is the best and only thing we can do. Eventually they disappear, the more we confront them. But this takes actual self-examination, and work. Many people find it easier to live in fear and feel better then whatever whipping boy their culture deems appropriate. 

The only answer is time and evolution. I believe the more evolved we become the more we will see were are all the same. But don’t look for utopia on that front any time soon.

You know this is a horrible thing that has happened to Jennifer Hudson’s family and I feel so badly for all of them. It is just sickening.

I saw a picture of the boy, and I feel he is in serious peril. He is terrified, and saw what happened to his grandmother, and uncle. I feel his father has him, and is acting extremely erratically and is very abusive. I worry that this man will kill the child. I am very worried. I hadn’t focused on it until I saw the picture of the poor boy, and now I am feeling he is in grave danger, and the father is not in his right mind. He could snap, and kill his own son if the boy is not found soon. 

I think its a matter of days, or weeks before this boy will pass over unless the police find him. I see the father on the road, running with the kid. Right now, the boy is alive. But I do see the father acting out on him and this father is very crazy, erratic, volatile, explosive. I’m very worried the authorities won’t find the boy until it is too late. I really hope I’m wrong. One thing I do see, if anyone can use this information is a motel with red doors. They are currently in this motel. I believe the motel is south east of where the child was taken from. Perhaps in Indiana or on the boarder of Indiana and Illinois.

If I were to have a more direct connection, knew the boys birthdate time, place and had an article of his clothing I would feel much more confident about finding this boy. Right now there is so much worry and negative energy clouding the pathway to the boy’s trail. I can’t be sure my reading is totally clear. I wish this family well. 

What a horrible and tragic situation. If the family wants my help I would be glad to do so anonymously and for free.

I’m not sure the world will ever be utopic, but it will evolve if we let it. As global warming puts the squeeze on the world, I feel the Pacific Northwest, and most of Canada will be among the most inhabitable places on earth. 

Now about the Canadian dollar. It does defy logic that your money has gone down. So I’ll ask the tarot if the Canadian dollar will continue to loose value compared to the US dollar:

It seems that both countries are going to be in serious financial trouble and both economies are going to be hit hard. I believe we will see this all over the world. Oddly, no country’s money will be worth much for awhile as the public trust will have been ruined and widespread corruption, and truly terrible things about corporations, financial institutions, brokerage firms, etc. will come out over the next few months. It’s going to feel like we’ve been attacked. As if the business world has betrayed the people of the world. As if they have abused the everyday consumer/person.

It looks like there has been so much blatant abuse of power, stealing and corruption that will come out, at first, it will be devastating. Kind of like when you find out your lover has had an affair on you. It will be very painful and a lot of people will be wary of investing in anything. People will stop spending money and start really changing their habits partially out of need because of major job losses, but also out of a feeling of abandonment.

It will feel as though the government, and the institutions we trusted, knocked us out, and then while we were unconscious kicked our teeth in on top of it. It’s going to make a lot of people upset, but it will ultimately be a catalyst for major reform in how we as a world, do business.

I asked about that number, the tarot said:  No. 

I asked if we would experience 15% it said: No

I asked if it would be about 30% at its worst point: Yes.

But my feeling is that this will be a very swift kick of in the butt, and be terrible of course, but turn around much faster then it did during the 30s. Meaning I feel the restructuring of the global economy will happen over the next couple of years, and at the worst of our downward swing it’s going to be very bleak, but will turn around pretty quickly, within a few years, and be out of that range and headed back to a healthy place.

Bottom line is my feeling is: the worst of this will last a few years, but by the end of the first Obama administration, it will be turning around, and we’ll see things getting back on track. This is going to be very tough for him. I couldn’t think of a worse time to be president then now! But if there was ever anyone up to the task it would be him. We are going to need his passionate hope and belief in the goodness of the people, besides a great plan to save this sinking ship. But we can and will do it.

Thank you for your insight. Your intitution is running on the exact same tract as mine. I see a period of finicial depression ahead, but also a period of hope. I see what I term as the New Reniassance. I see majors advances in the arts and sciences. I am not sure if this is intitution or just my major in American history of the 1930s when there was certainlly great advancements in the arts, music, and literature. It is definitely an “interesting” time to be alive.

My great hope is that we will not see massive teen homelessness like they did in the 30s. Hopefully, we have in place social services for teens in crisis. I’m a mother. I can’t help but worry about the kids. How do you think things will go for the children during these hard times?

I worry about them, too. I’m also a mother. But even before I was one, I worried about kids. They are so vulnerable and so important to the future of our world. One worries that being exposed to the kind of traumatic events that will unfold over the next few years and beyond (as we get back on our feet) will adversely effect them.

But there is something very interesting about the children born over the last 20 years, and currently being born. They have so many outer planets in winter signs — meaning they are very old souls. Of course, just because they are old souls doesn’t mean there won’t be those among them who bring a lot of bad karma and negativity with them, but since the late 1980s and into the 1990s when there was a rare conjunction of Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn there has been a shift of energy taking place on our planet.

I believe we are starting to see the effect of this in the group of young people who are now taking great interest in politics (this is of course not to say there hasn’t always been great old souls coming through, I’m just talking sheer numbers of them since this period). I’ve been saying for a long time, that these young people would be very idealistic and spiritual, but not necessarily in a conventional sense, meaning not necessarily religious. They will also be very artistic and have a love for the unique and original. They will contribute a lot to innovation especially in the arts and those born a bit later in the sciences.

Now that Pluto is going from Sagittarius into Capricorn and Uranus has been in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius, we will see the babies born now turn out to be very old, and unusual souls. On the whole they will be more sensitive and intelligent then previous generations. I believe we will see an evolutionary leap in our species from those children born from the period of the late 1980s on until those born until 2011. But when Uranus goes into Aries younger souls will begin incarnating in greater number again. Not that younger souls are bad they are just newer on the road. Of course they can also be amazingly pure, great people with many gifts and lots of love to give.

We saw a bit of this leap among people born in the 1960s when Uranus was conjunct with Pluto in Virgo, an aspect that happens once every 144 years. And in this case it was in Virgo so times that by 12, and you get an aspect in sign that only happens approximately once every 18,000 years. This was why there was such an uprising of liberal views and a mini-revolution/social revolution going on at the time. This was a window of intense learning and idealism which is embedded in those born during that time. Ironically, there were less people born during this period then any other on earth living today. Meaning this generation is the smallest group on the planet, so their impact has been small in society (Obama is on the front end of this conjunction, but it’s out of sign) and their voices often silenced because they don’t have big numbers. But this first 60s group paved a course and with this new influx of similar types, starting from people in their early twenties to babies right now, we will see some major shifts in the collective unconscious over our lifetime. This is a very good thing.

Now back to your question, I asked the cards if we would see massive teen homelessness:

But, this will change the social services we have in this country for kids and teenagers for the better. It’s strange, but all the cards that come up for this are basically positive which makes me think that there will be opportunities for many of these kids they wouldn’t have had under their previous situations, such as the potential for a college education and a change in their fate for the better. Some or most would have been in dire situations with abuse and/or extreme poverty they would have had to endure, but with the revision of the social system they will find new hope and opportunity awaiting them.

It’s odd. I’m not saying they won’t have a hard time, but most of these kids will have come from families who were abusive or so troubled they would not have gotten their needs met. And because the public will be more aware of these kids they will actually get more help then they normally would. And lets face it when everything is rosy most people don’t think about anything, they kind of check out. Our current crisis is going to make us rethink how we do just about everything, and it will engender much needed compassion in our society.

Thank you for the insight you are bringing to so many during these extrordinary times. I have a political question with reference to New York City Mayor Bloomberg who recently strong-armed the City Council in voting to change the term limits which the people of NYC voted twice against through his backroom politics. He truly believes he is the only one to deal with this financial disaster which originated here (what extreme arrogance). Do you see him winning the Mayor race next year and will the people of NY rise up against this non-democratic vote. I am deeply concerned about this as a small business owner knowing that the decisions he makes are only made to enhance the wealthy and create more burdens for the working class.

Hi Gwen. Let’s ask the cards: Will Mayor Bloomberg win the next mayoral election?

OK, when asking this question 5 cards literally fell out of the deck. I always take that to have great meaning. They were all reversed so I would say, no. He isn’t going to win the next election. And let’s see why:

He’s got a bad record and people remember this. He’s not well liked. He’s pissed off (For lack of a better word) a lot of small business owners and made it difficult to start new businesses as well as business partnerships, weakening the overall economy. But I actually get the feeling he’s made a lot of lawyers angry. This I’m just hearing. I feel there maybe a movement to overturn what he’s strong armed. He’s got some serious enemies. Also he has pissed away a lot of opportunity for New Yorkers, how I’m not sure, I’m feeling he’s grid locked the system and made New York more unappealing for not just small businesses, but tourists, multi-national global companies and has (in a way) isolated the city. He’s also very arrogant and out of touch with what the people really think and feel about him, which is, most people don’t like him. He does however have strong support from certain giant well established institutions and institutional corporations. This is perhaps where he gets his false sense of huberis. 

I’m getting a very strong no. He isn’t going to win. And I do feel the law he strong armed will be repealed by a group of lawyers who will sue to get it overturned.

Hi Tyrone,

That’s a big question. I’m going to see if I can find a chart on the Philippine Stock Exchange. I found the inception date and figured the trading began at 9:00 AM so I ran it for that time. If you know what time it starts let me know in a post so I can rectify the chart. Here is the chart:

So here we see that the Sun is at 01 degree Capricorn. This is the same degree as the Dow’s ascendant. I’m seeing this 1 degree Capricorn in so many financial charts it’s making me wonder if that degree has some special significance especially to markets. Anyway, it’s in the 11th house and the Sun rules the 7th, meaning it will take a big hit because it’s friend (us) and partner (us) is going to get punched. It will also start freaking out in late December. I haven’t been paying attention to it, but I’m sure there have already been signs, and problems as this aspect gets tighter.

Now the bigger problems are going to come down the line — it may even dissolve and be re-invented or absorbed by another market, rumblings of this will start in January 2014, but it may not happen until later when Pluto hits Uranus and then all of a sudden it will go bye-bye. That will be a few years later in January of 2017. This could be part of the global market change I’ve been talking about, perhaps the Philippines will transform around that time. But I’d say from December of this year until November of 2009 this market will be very volatile and you might want to stay away until it settles down. Hope that helped.
