I had a curious experience last night. I came in from outside, my husband was sitting on the sofa. Out of nowhere I felt this intense magnetic force hit me. It felt like I was pushed out of my body. I told my husband there was going to be a major quake because this experience had only happened to me a few times before quakes. He thought it was related to my migraines. Despite knowing a big one was coming within the next day or so, I had no idea where it would be. I haven’t had this happen in awhile so I wasn’t sure it was worth sharing but I won’t make that mistake next time.
So if I get this again. I will blog it next time. And if I get it in May, I’m calling my friends in SoCal.
I just realized why I felt the one in Chile a few good old friend of mine happened to be there. I didn’t know it until my husband told me a few minutes ago. We haven’t been able to get ahold of him.

Things like Climate Change, weapons-testing and now fracking make the earth’s crust even more fragile than it is already. The Conservatives are desperately trying to introduce fracking into Britain (cunningly claiming it would lower our energy bills) but are encountering a lot of opposition. So far I have only signed dozens of petitions against it but if I was forced to take more direct action, then I would.

Just experienced a 5.0 earthquake tonight here in Provence, rather mild compared to the large ones I remember back in L.A., but disconcerting when they happen on continents where you don’t “expect” them!

I was wondering if ‘Provence’ was a city/town in Rhode Island, USA? OR are you referring to the country ‘France’ ?
Hi Marie, I guess I should have specified which one. I meant Provence as in France. It was it the Hautes Alpes region, north of Nice. @ Simon — I think it will be fine in June. This area gets earthquakes, but they tend to be few and far between.
