I do think people are becoming more psychic. Or at least more open to it. I believe this is due in part to new technologies, more people with access to capturing types of technology – such as video, audio and photo equipment. It has also become OK to share ones experience, people are not just written off as crazy and more people are acknowledging their own brushes with the supernatural as information gets out there about what to look for.

If 2012 is going to be a marker of anything positive, it will be that we are more awakened. There is some very interesting moves technologically that are bringing us closer to opening ourselves up to understanding what is beyond our 5 senses. Some of them have to do with using a sense to trigger other senses, some are theoretical like string theory. All of the breakthroughs science is engaged in are actually prove out the vastness of our multiverse and supporting the notion of an animating force of which we are all a part.

I personally believe this is exactly what God is. It was always my supposition and actually I was literally kicked out of my high school English class – a Great Books style class, when the teacher asked the question, “Is there a God?” My answer to her was perhaps for those who believe there is the experience of God and for those who do not their isn’t. I was going to go on to say that it was my belief that the Universe or God is eternal, without beginning or end and we were all a part of it, some unaware, others conscious when she said, “Either you’re pregnant or you’re not.” My response to this was, “How can you apply physical rules to a supernatural being?” And that was it for me. I was literally told to speak to her after class and not allowed back. I don’t think she’d ever had a student give her an answer that was quantum before. This was many years before quantum theory was really mainstream and I hadn’t even heard of it, and I was a geek who read science magazines and astronomy textbooks, so…

Anyway back to my point, God is not just in the heavens, in a spiritual home/heaven we go back to, but also in all things – all things, like an artist who leaves His/Her mark (I believe God is genderless) on all things, on the very quarks and electrons that make everything possible and I also believe all sentient beings have eternal souls and it is that eternal soul which is a piece of God thrown out (at our choosing) so we may learn, grow and individuate in other words evolve.  At that point we know (but don’t really understand like a that a child) that with this choice will come suffering, despair, pain, love, joy, ecstasy and everything in the middle, yet when we make that decision it is just intellectual we haven’t experienced any of it yet, and that is why we decide to incarnate, to experience all of this – the darkness and light, good and evil so we may find who we are among all the many colors and shades of creation.

As far as getting in touch with your psychic ability there is something that I really want to caution anyone who is interested in exploring this realm about. It is actually a theme I’ve heard repeated now over and over in weird places which is why I bring it up because for me, much of this was dealt with many years ago and I sometimes forget how intense the awakening process is. I experienced it throughout my childhood and young adult life and still continue to do so however I have learned ways to control the worst of it. One quote I heard went something like this, “When one gets closer to God one gets closer to the Devil,” or something like that. What this means is when you open to the divine, within it lies both negative and positive energy. God is neither “good,” nor “evil” God is energy. I believe God at the core of connection, the Creator aspect of God is divine pure love, however in order for us to learn we needed a binary system. And their is a destroyer aspect, some call it the Devil – others yin and yang.

God or our universe was set up with oppositions, light and dark, good and evil, black and white. There are demonic forces without a doubt. I’ve had my run ins with them. They are very frightening. They do not respond to traditional religious spiritual paths, meaning they will not go away by asking for help from Jesus or getting a priest to bless one’s home. The only way to keep them at bay while one is opening to the light is to learn (very rigorously) psychic protection and the best there is, is the lesser pentagram ritual which I have written about on this website. You have to be in control and you must be the one to exorcise them, no one else can really do this for you. It is part of the path, the choosing, facing one’s fears, one’s demons and you must rise above them and cast them out. No other force can do this for you except you can keep them away with the lesser pentagram ritual. I can tell you that as soon as I learned it and performed the ritual in my mind every night before I went to sleep, I have never had another demonic encounter. Even spirits stay outside my home. I often go outside to talk to people who are trying to get a hold of me because the force of this protection is so intense that even benign spirits of people who have passed on can not enter if there is anything less than absolute purity which of course no human being possesses even on the other side.  One has to invite those spirits of ancestors in, sometimes they can come in to protect one, but mostly they don’t disturb the circle. I would first learn this protection before anything else and do the lesser pentagram (just search my site for the words and info, I also have a link to someone doing it on u-tube, you can probably find others who do it as well). And then start with meditation.

One must clear the mind and have control of the mind to tell what is one’s own thought from what one is receiving from elsewhere. It’s a rigorous process of keeping notes often of dreams, patterns, and finding ones own spiritual metaphorical language. It’s worth it. However it is a life long process, many lifetimes long, one that we all will eventually engage in if we are to awaken. I’m just warning you that as you open yourself up, you open yourself up to everything; love, pain, suffering, healing, anger, the dying earth’s energy. It’s not always easy to deal with. I believe this is why I have always had many health problems as this energy overwhelms me at times.

Any type of clearing the mind sort of meditation is the first step. Then find what things you are attracted to. Have you always been fascinated by Buddhism? Or by a statue of Hanuman you saw in a museum? Or perhaps Diana or Jesus, Mohammad, whatever your calling. These are the deepest recesses of your past life work and it’s best to work with the system or pathway you have already been on for many lifetimes. Just find the place in that system that best fits you. Or perhaps you are like me and all those religions call to you in different ways. Well, you can take what you need from them and navigate as best you can through many paths. I think though starting out, it is best to have one path you dedicate yourself to entirely and learn that before opening to other things. I’m not saying one should ever dismiss anything, just commit to one thing so you can find your center and go from there.

Answering Readers!

I’m back. I had a horrible series of migraines. Seems like they always happen before disasters, all those tragic fires happening all over the country at the same time! How awful!  And the hurricane, and the explosion of the other oil platform. It was just before the platform explosion that the cluster of migraines started. This was a particularly painful grouping.

I’ve read a lot about migraines now. I have a couple of different rare forms, hemiplegic and basilar. They are both awful, truly. One causes seizures, paralysis and an inability to speak and can put a person in a coma, the other is extremely painful and causes me to vomit and have out of control nausea. It totally sucks. I’ve heard (from a spiritual standpoint) that migraines are caused from an over-stimulation of the 6th and 7h chakras – which would make sense in my case. Interestingly, Carolyn Myss a famous medical intuitive and New Age writer had a series of seizures after which she found her psychic abilities grew tremendously. There seems to be some connection between neurological issues and psychic ability – again this makes sense to me. I feel like I’m literally wired differently then some people, which is both a gift and a curse. Nothing comes free in this world.

Anyway, I’m here to answer a question I over looked and please if I didn’t answer a question re-send it to me. I have been swamped with e-mail, much of it I didn’t even see because I was out of it for about a week.

These are pretty big and broad questions so I’m just going to start with what I was told was your birth time by someone in your family. I think a great or great, or great-great grandmother (dressed in black, wearing an old-fashioned strange hat) who was present at your birth in spirit. She said you were born at 1:15 AM it turned 1:16 soon after so I put it at 1:15 and 49 seconds.  She tells me your mother was very lonely at the time of your birth and while she loved you and wanted you, she was scared and not sure if she was ready for you at that point in her life.

In the chart I erected for you have the Moon conjunct Jupiter in the 10th house which I would take as your mother (or mother figure) was the person who provided for you for at least part of your childhood. You are a very optimistic person with a sense of a higher purpose, your life has been very difficult with Saturn ruling your 4th house of home, family, parents. You also have Mars in Libra in the 12th house, so you have to always be careful you are not victimized by others. You have chosen a difficult life to purge yourself of a lot of old stuff from other lifetimes. You are doing an amazing job and I feel you have accomplished much (spiritually) in this lifetime. Your life is really that of spiritual person. And in some ways you are like a monk or a rabbi – things are not what you value. You are incredibly creative yet with Saturn in your 5th house opposing your Uranus Pluto conjunction in your 11th you are easily discouraged from showing your gifts. You have natural talent in many areas. You have Neptune trining Saturn in your 5th, so you could use your natural intuition and psychic gifts to make a living and for your art.  You also have Venus on the angle of your 3rd house trining Uranus and Pluto also Venus rules your chart (Libra rising), so it might be easier for you to write than do anything else (in terms of creative stuff) although you are multi-talented (you have your SUn, Mercury and Venus in your 3rd house). It was my first instinct that you should be writing and communicating with others your ideas, philosophies and knowledge, teaching through drama. So I really think you should do both creative writing and also perhaps at some point write a memoir. You have had quite a life. But you are very loved. You are also very comfortable with both sides of yourself masculine and feminine. My biggest worry for you despite the fact that you have quite a bit of earth in your chart, is that you have a tendency to let yourself float out into the ether. You need structure, discipline (in terms of setting goals for yourself that are realistic) and roots. I’m not sure you’ve had strong roots with Aquarius taking up the majority of the 4th and Saturn ruling the 4th. You are a very dynamic, and complicated person even to yourself. You have a lot of passion and it comes out sometimes when you least expect it. You are very spiritual, compassionate and a bodhisattva. Someone who is on the road to enlightenment.  At this point your biggest troubles are the road blocks you put in your own way for fear you are not good enough. With Moon and Jupiter in your 10th house culminating you could be very successful, even famous for your creative work. I would encourage you in that direction. Also the Moon Jupiter in the 10th could be used to be a successful actor or politician. I think however with so much Capricorn you would feel most comfortable showing this side of yourself to the public through your words, or through a medium that is not as direct. You have a bunch of planets in your 3rd house which also indicates writing and teaching through your words.

Some Random Thoughts Before Answering More Readers…

I’m fascinated by your description of the Internet as “cold chaos.” Although (perhaps because) I’ve worked in technology for the last 20 years, I see its limitations; I’m disturbed that few others seem to. Here in the Bay Area, people seem to see  technology as the silver bullet that will fix all our problems, including public education.  Just replace the teachers (being human, they must be the problem, right?) with laptops loaded with corporate content. People also seem to feel that online interaction is an adequate substitute for face time. I fear that the Internet is starving our spiritual need for community.

My reply:

Hi Tina
It’s such a weird feeling I got when I first went onto the internet. I’m actually very left brained as well as right and was working in computer animation during the early 1990s. So the internet was sort of an exciting idea. I had a friend who was a big champion of it but when I logged on, as I said I felt this very creepy, cold void as if there was an alien intelligence that seemed very connected to the shadow side of us, rather than the conscious side. Of course that seemed to be what took off first, pornography, voyeurism and it unleashed this strange (now cultural) narcissism that I think was contained in people through direct interaction with others.

IT felt like we were going to meet our shadow on the other end of that line and it really scared me. The other thing that struck me was attached it seemed to be the energy of chaos, I mean in the universal way, often seen in ancient cultures as a force for evil. And of course it was the final wall that ripped down public and private life, which I’m not sure was such a great thing.

Perhaps one day we will be able to fit all these things back together and elevate it all to a better place but for now we seem to be having trouble with the darker side of this phenomena. It seems to have way too much power on the way people think and feel and I believe it contributes to the delusions we have about the economy, jobs and the stock market.

I know it sounds strange, but there is so much information out there, yet very little of it is really checked like it used to be in the old days, by multiple sources. Blogs are opinion based, and often based on half-baked information, and traditional media outlets are going more toward copying the editorial style of blogs. We’ve nearly lost the 4th estate. We have no one to really put the government’s feet to the fire and those that are trying to do it are doing it with mid-evil methods and coo-coo statistics.

We are more divided, less tolerant and the dark sides of who were seems to be overshadowing the light. It’s interesting to note all the Celestial bodies that have been discovered since the turn of this century and how kind of creepy most of their legends are. Almost all appear to be dealing with the shadow side of our nature. (I am actually working on making a list of these planetoids and their dark rulerships to be released in the future.)

To get back to what Tina said. It’s a HORRIBLE mistake to let computers become teachers. And I’m also against testing teachers and children like they are robots. If we can’t come up with an organic, holistic way to determine what kids are getting out of school and what teachers are doing, than something is wrong! The people who are in charge are not checking in on the classrooms, aren’t listening to parents, and aren’t taking into consideration other types of development. Sometimes, I think we’ve forgotten how to be human and it’s just as important to teach theater, expressing one’s feelings, art, music, political science, critical thinking, as it is to teach math and reading.

I have a sibling who is severely dyslexic. We were opposites. I was in gifted classes, they were in special ed. We were both freaks on the opposite end of the spectrum. My sibling has a very high IQ but their condition wasn’t fully understood. It’s now coming to light that people with dyslexia have a different kind of brain – one that sees literally in 3-D, and so words – which on a page are 2-D, are an impossible jumble. My sibling never really learned how to read and write past the 1st grade level (until they went away to a special school in their 20s that approached things in a radical new way). Yet my sibling is actually very brilliant and can take build anything, figure anything out, has the mind of an engineer. I wonder what the schools we went to would do with a kid like that now when they have to take those “every child left behind” (pun intended) tests. It would make it look like those teacher sucked.

My point is different kids learn differently and forcing children to reguritate information onto a test to satisfy some quota isn’t good education, it’s good martial training. And it’s really stupid.

By the way I read an interesting article in “The Mountain Astrologer,” for those of you who don’t know about this magazine and are interested in astrology, it is by far the best of the best – there was an interview with Carolyn Myss who is a sort of New Age guru. I kind of stay away from New Age stuff, but I started listening to her Sacred Contracts lecture on tape and agreed with a lot of it, some of it struck me as a bit nutty. And I found her a bit full of herself and someone with a kind of a angry, arrogant energy that turned me off. I really don’t like it when people make up systems and seem like they’re winging half of it, and while I thought she had tapped into some truths, I felt a lot of it was sort of recycled from other metaphysical sources or could be found via other places, not to say she didn’t believe she invented it. I just have read a lot of occult books and have studied spiritual ideas outside the mainstream for a long time and had heard what she put forward said many ways, many times, with many different twists before. But it’s always good, however to make it new and get people thinking so I was happy to see her books do well as they undoubtedly made people open to new ideas which is always an excellent accomplishment.

It’s also my opinion that anyone who is that sure of themselves is invariably wrong about a lot because while one must invest in their ideas, one also has to remain open. And one never has all the answers, as soon as one thinks this, one is crushed by reality by the Universe.

Also being a double Aquarius I have a natural distrust of authority and I really don’t like being put in the position of guru which was why I originally left the practice of reading for people. I’m not always right. If one changes their path the outcome will change, which in my opinion is the reason readings are valuable, so one can correct their path.  I’m not omnipotent and I can’t control fate. It’s an unfortunate side-effect of the work that people want to turn you into a guru or a god. For example when reading some people they will argue and try to convince me why what I’m telling them shouldn’t be (as if I can change the outcome of their path!) I’m psychic not God!

Unfortunately, psychics themselves can get caught up in this power trip (which I’ve seen) and it’s really not cool to say the least. That was what ran me out of the work. While I wanted people to listen to what I was saying and take it seriously so they could change their future for the better, I didn’t want them to be under the illusion that I was anything more than a messenger. These lines do however get blurred for some people and that made me uncomfortable. I really didn’t want to turn into a “Spiritual Leader” at 22 years old. I was wise enough to know I didn’t really know anything. However now I understand things more clearly and feel more comfortable relaying the messages I get, mostly because I understand them now! But still I’m just the messenger! This was my problem with Myss in a nutshell, she kind of had to much ego about the whole thing which in my opinion dulls the ability – kind of like what I suspect happened to Sylvia Brown, maybe she was psychic at one point, now she’s just an egomaniac.

However, in this article Myss mentioned that before every expansion of her psychic ability she would have a run on grand mal seizures and then they would go away when her new abilities opened up. Unlike, Myss I was born psychic however like Myss I have experienced this same phenomena. (We are also both from Chicago. Supposedly, a place where more psychics are born than an place else – although I didn’t read the book about the subject.)

I had a grand mal seizure when I was 17 which was just after a major surgery and I was put into a drug induced coma, which was really awful, within a year of that experience my psychic abilities, which I had tried to suppress (due to being an adolescent just trying to fit in, instead of being called, witch and freak) broke open like a damn and I really thought I would die as a result of the enormous, wild, intense energy that felt as though it would engulf me. I worried (with good reason) that I would turn into a human fire-ball (not to mention many other extraordinarily bizarre events). My psychic ability was in control of me rather than the other way around. I had to find a teacher and when I was 18 that’s what I did.

Again, when I had my daughter and my abilities became more integrated and changed form, I too suffered from (this time a series of) both grand-mal and petite-mal seizures. So I think Myss’ is onto something here. I think there is some sort of wiring or neurological component to being psychic. Like that reader who could put his hand on the electric fence, some of us, perhaps are truly wired differently.

As another note, I’m currently watching Nightline Primetime special about the brain. I’ve read research on the topic they are covering as well – there is a lot of evidence to suggest people who are violent offenders have disturbance, damage or are born with problems in the frontal lobe many become killers/serial murders and mass murderers.

Interestingly, they not on the program that this lack of energy in the frontal lobe, which indicates murderers is also seen in people obsessed with religion in a zealot like way – perhaps this is why religious wars and suicide bombers exist. This research seconds my feeling that those who voraciously cling to religious zealotry do so because they don’t feel an internal moral compass. People with frontal lobe issues may need to have rules and regulations and a prescription for how to live a normal life and fit in. And perhaps having a strong traditional religion where they are fortified in their belief and kept in line by a large group they can belong to, also helps them keep it together.

Another interesting article I read recently in Discover was about the shrinkage of the human brain in the past 10,000, which as it turns out has been quite substantial. Some have put forth a dumbing down theory. My belief (which is also another scientific theory with some modification on my part) is we have become domesticated and no longer need to have this over-developed aggressiveness (domesticated animals’ brains shrink over  a period of 12 generations) also we are more specialized in what we do, therefore streamlining our brains and probably creating a different sort of wiring that is more complex, sensitive and different. As it turns out there are many animals who have “small” brains, but research has shown they are actually as, or more intelligent than animals with much larger brains he size. It’s not how big,  it’s how the thing is built. My laptop is more powerful than the a thousand NASA computers from the 1960s and it is certainly much smaller!

Interestingly, the theory that prevailed in the 1990s that we would become one light-coffee colored homogenized group (think of the Benetton Ads which were based on this theory of the future – now not talked about much due to scientists’ fears of dealing with all the racial politics, although again this is silly as we can all be equal and not the same but anyway…) as people intermarried. In actuality we have become less like each other.  There are more differences between races, in terms of physical structure and performance on various tests than before, all of these things are indicitive of finding one’s niche and passing it along to one’s prodgeney. And perhaps the areas we grow up in due to our race, or the opportunities we are given due to our ethnicity. And of course we are much bigger than all of that and break out of every rule put on us and people are so much more than any of these things.

I’ve often thought that our DNA is actually an internal tape recorder – that what we do in our lives gets encoded and those talents get passed along. Why else would some have a talent for music, art, math? None of these things are necessary for immediate survival, one can’t draw oneself out of starvation or sing themself out of being eaten by wolves.  Yet one can not deny that seemingly learned traits get passed on, often skipping generations which means it can’t be entirely attributed to one’s environment.

We are clearly a mix of so many complex elements, our environment, our genes, our soul, our past lives (in my opinion), our point on the wheel of individuation – that there will never be simple answers to anything. Some people will rise above mental illness or indications that they should be sociopaths – compassion will develop in a different part of the brain and compensate. Some people will have everything they need to become schizophrenic except it will never be triggered due to the luck of growing up in a happy home and having a very stable environment until the point of the trigger is rendered moot. We are complex beings, spiritual, emotional, physical, metaphysical and  multi-dimensional.

I will continue answering the rest of the questions throughout the week. When I’m done I’ll open it back up to people who need help. But make sure to check because I’m just going to do it for a day next time and then answer what I can, and close it down. I’ll keep doing this for until I don’t have time.

HI: Thank for your generous offer to answer a simple question. I’ve been feeling insanely confused on the direction of my life, especially with my career. I really hate my job and know in my heart that I should be doing something else?  The problem is I have many interest.

If i find another job will it be a risk to leave a job that is so steady? Or is a risk what I need in my life?

Right now my cardinal climax makes total sense for me. Pluto is transiting my 1st house – This has me questioning all my relationships. Uranus is transiting my 3rd house -Saturn is transiting your 9th and 10th houses –

OK, firstly I want to say you have a grand water trine with the Moon involved.  You have Uranus conjunct your Moon trine Venus in Pisces and loosely trine Mercury in Pisces and tightly trine your Moon and both your Uranus and Venus are trine Mars in the 7th house. You have both Mercury and Venus and your Sun at a very late degree 28 in Pisces, all giving you the gift or second sight, whether you have control of it or not is your decision but you have the raw talent to be extraordinarily gifted in this respect. Interestingly you have Neptune in your 12 in Sag, only reinforcing the psychic ability but for you it would be best to go through a system not from your family of origin, meaning you should study Buddhism or something else foreign if you were raised Catholic and vice versa if you were raised or grew up in an environment that was eastern based. Your chart is actually quite similar to mine although you are a bit more balanced than I but as I am missing fire you are missing earth, entirely. I was told many years ago by a fellow astrologer that when this occurs it is because one has worked through that energy in past lives and comes into this world with an excess of that energy therefore you choose not to have any planets in that element to compensate for this intensity. People have always thought I was some sort of fire sign, especially in my youth and I’m sure people conceive you (wrongly) as some kind of earth mamma. You are incredibly sensitive and with Saturn in Cancer in your 7th house and Pluto culminating in Libra from your 9th at the cusp of your 10th, I wonder if you ever considered a career in family law? Fighting for the underprivileged and eventually getting into politics? This would be a tremendous use of your deep compassion, although you often hide it and show it erratically especially in relationship to your career which you take very personally. You want to help out humanity in a big way and you should, for you are a very old soul often overwhelmed with your feelings of grief for this world. You are lucky to have come from a home that confirmed your individuality, although your parents may have fought sometime but it looks like they always found a way to work it out. As for your question let’s follow your career path by depositor down the line: Your tenth house (career) is ruled by Venus. You have Venus in Pisces and therefore your Venus is ruled by Neptune in Sagittarius in the 12th and Jupiter in Aries in the 4th Pisces has both as co-rulers. You have Pluto culminating at the top of your chart in Libra, again reinforcing Venus which is ruled by Pisces. Saturn which is the natural ruler of the 10th is in Cancer, your Moon is in Scorpio conjunct Uranus both ruled by Pluto in Libra and Mars (again co-ruler) in Cancer.

To clear up all that confusion, You need to do something on a large-scale, with mass appeal. You have a lot of things that lead me to believe you have a political bent and your destiny lies in incorporating other cultures. You have tremendous insight, a natural ability for psychology and are highly sensitive. You need to move the world in a big way and you, I can see why you are confused because these energies don’t jump out at one with a specific easy answer. On the cusp of your second house is Capricorn which is ruled by Cancer again the moon is involved, again you will probably change jobs a lot in your lifetime and it is my opinion the more I look at your chart you are meant to do a lot of things and learn many skills because perhaps what you are meant to do does not entirely exist yet, it will be something you will sort of invent. Or be part of a new revolution. So for now follow your heart get a job helping people, perhaps working for a charity for women as Pluto will be making a sextile to your Venus in your 2nd house and has just finished opposing your Mars in the 7th house, making working with abused women and children or for an organization who helps them. The other thing here is that you have Mercury ruling your 6th, you could do some writing which you are good at which could earn some money or sales for now. You can really do anything, your chart is set up to be used for many different types of careers which is why you are confused and why I’m not much help because as I said, what your really meant to do hasn’t completely come into being yet. So follow your heart, your intuition. You may have an opportunity through a sibling coming up that could work out well for now.

Don’t try to figure it all out right now over time things will become clear. Just do what you are called to do for the time being, you need to learn and grow in many ways. Just go along for the ride and try not to worry. I know it’s not easy but I’ve given you some clues to follow and if you bear those in mind you will find your way.

Oh and with Pluto going through your house now (for forever!) this will cause an identity crisis. You have to push past its influence and connect to your spiritual self, your higher self to get around it and even still it is powerful and it will mess with your head especially since you are naturally ambitious and it has such a strong hold in your natal chart. Almost Done…

It’s been 2 weeks of ongoing construction in my house. And of course a million emergencies. To all my clients I apologize for the inconvenience of my home being torn asunder with nowhere and no reprieve in which to work with you right now.  I’m hopeful that next week I will be able to get a few people who have been waiting patiently in, I’ll e-mail you guys on Saturday when I’m sure the workmen will be gone from my home. If there is debate and a chance they don’t get it done (which is very possible as it was just supposed to take at most a week and it’s twice that now) I’ll post on the website the supposed end game.

There were some things I wanted to write about but it appears some of them have already come to pass. So, what can I do? Seems my lead time has gotten shorter. I found a poem I wrote in early summer of 2008 about my feeling that something terrible was about to hit. I came across it looking for an old story idea I had jotted down. It was before I pinpointed the stock market. I kept hearing “something wicked this way comes,” which is of course a famous literary work, but for some reason I knew it was literal and not about writing or the story.

Here’s the poem, don’t judge it as a poem, it was really just written stream of consciousness without any editing, but for some reason psychic information has always come to me (or often) as poetry. Just look at the info instead contained in the goofy (never meant to be read by another human – I must say I feel pretty brave showing it to you) verse. Perhaps it’s my Mercury in Pisces that organizes information in rhyme.

Here goes:

Something wicked this way comes

I’m not sure what it is or what’s to be done

But I’m sure something wicked this way comes,

Is it depression, famine, plague or war?

The spider in the garden knows the score,

I can feel it in the air,

In the strange night breeze,

But I don’t know what it is,

Tell me please,

Is it just for me?

Or my family?

Or something changing in the world we see?

But wicked it is, I can feel it in my bones,

I know by the fall it will have begun,

I pray for all of us,

For me and my family,

Hoping its powers will not reach me,

I’ll burn protection and say my prayers,

hoping against hoping nothing will be there…

I put the part most applicable to what I was starting to hone in on in bold letters. I’m showing you all this to see that psychic knowing is often a puzzle, a collection of words that cycle in one’s head, a dream, a vision of something that hits in the middle of the day, an inner voice speaking with insistence, a poem, a flash out of the corner of one’s eye, even a meeting with an unexpected animal in a strange place or a strange experience with an animal such as being in a forest and having a deer come up to you and stare for several minutes into your eyes. Pay attention, signs are everywhere. The Great Intelligence is always communicating with us, most of us just fail to listen.

Psychic Ability & Children…

Hi Denise — As I was picking up my 11-year-old son today from school, he noted how incredibly windy it was. (We live south of LA, in San Diego.) This strong wind, combined with the rain, is very unusual.

On his own, he said, “I think we are going to have a hurricane or a tornado.” I’m not claiming that my child is psychic, but it was rather unusual. Not until later did I read this blog, and hear about the tornado warnings for LA. That is strange!

Actually he is. I think nearly all children are, in fact in some tribal cultures children are seen as having magical powers akin to sorcerers. A child has to be very disconnected from being a kid in order to cut off their imagination, creativity and psychic ability. Now I’m not saying psychic ability is always seen for what it is or that it is even as we are taught to think of it. It is actually a sister to imagination and creativity.

When the military looked for people to train for their secret psychic warfare division, they looked for candidates (among those who were already in the military) who were creative and interested in the arts. Adults often ignore children which is why their wisdom and ability goes unnoticed (in my opinion) this was particularly true the further back in western culture one goes. I think it’s only been in the last 25 years or so that parents have adopted softer, gentler techniques including listening which is key to seeing the patterns kids display.

So I think your son is psychic, and he did pick up on what was going on. However much he exhibits this ability, only you will know based on  watching and listening to him. We all have some ability. Just as we can all run, whether one can go to the Olympics is another matter. Psychic ability can be cultivated and trained as well. And like everything else human, it has an element of talent to it, but it’s not just talent that makes a psychic consistently accurate on command, it takes training as well.

I wanted to mention to everyone out there that I still haven’t checked my e-mail and it’s piled high to the sky so I’m going to start a new e-mail address for those of you to correspond with me and I will post it soon, probably tomorrow. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. At this point it would take me more than a month to slog through all of it and I don’t have the time. So please forgive me.

Karina’s Comments & Readers Dreams…

It’s interesting that Karina had nearly an identical dream, my husband also had a similar dream and others have told me they too had dreams that put this earthquake together with aliens. I’m not sure if the dreams are symbolic yet or if there really is/was an extraterrestrial component to this.

Interesting to note that the other dream I had about the terrible storm seems to be taking form in a very bad storm coming toward southern California and fears that it will cause mud slides in the areas burned last summer.

Please keep posting dreams. I’m going to go over the dream journal and see if there is anything in there that seems related to the now (what appears to be a collective dream of at least 3 people). Please post any dream you have that you feel maybe related to these either on the front page or in the dream journal. Let’s see if there are patterns that can be deciphered.

Owl Medicine…

I wasn’t that surprised to see the results of the owl poll. It seems that those who read this blog (the vast majority) have what Native American’s would call Owl Medicine.  It’s interesting that both in the 1970s and again for the past few years owls have become very popular. There are all sorts of representations of them in statuary, toys, fabric patterns, on journals. You name it owls are everywhere. Depending on the culture owls are either assigned an ominous place in the symbolic pantheon or more wisely seen as the messengers they truly are.
I’ve found Owl Medicine related to clairvoyance, the ability to see through things and penetrate the darkness with one’s insight. Those with Owl Medicine are often psychic and/or extremely intuitive. They have an intense gaze, deep understanding and insight into situations that others often don’t even notice. They are intimidating and uncanny, ale to see things with seemingly supernatural ability, an ability they take for granted as second nature.  And of course there is always the premonitory relationship between owls and events, they nearly always show up before something crazy happens (for those with Owl Medicine that is). They are messengers, the bird earthy version of Mercury running messengers from the abyss to us ordinary weirdos attuned to their frequency.

So HOORAY for Owls! They are wise birds for wise, preternaturally observant folks.

Owls…

It recently came to my attention that most people don’t see owls. I figured this out after meeting an acquaintance and telling him I’d seen them many times. He gave me a disbelieving look so I wondered, how many people actually see them? Is this rare or common. They do live all around us but are very stealthy. So here’s a quick unscientific poll to find out. I’m sure it will be skewed toward owl sightings as owls are connected to psychic ability and the occult but, let’s see….

Ghosts…

Here is something weird I’d like to share with everyone. I had a reaction to one of my preventative migraine medicines I was put on Verapamil. It’s a calcium channel blocker and also used for heart patients. Anyway I knew it was causing a psychic barrier but what’s a girl to do? I have debilitating migraines so I took it.

Since I have been off of the medication the strangest thing started happening to me. Besides it sounding like people were walking around in my living room all night long (kind of normal) I was being told all this information and shown all this stuff by ghosts (I guess) before I’d fall asleep the last two days. So I decided last night to write the stuff down and google it to see if any of it made sense. Here’s one stream of information as it was written down in the dark in my journal: David Morgan, murder took place in a home near a staircase (older style home), there was another man present who helped, blackmail (although I heard this word and wasn’t sure if it was black male or blackmail), wealthy serial killer. I saw other things and wrote those down like a yacht, that he was from another country, English wasn’t his first language and there was some connection to powerful people, prostitution and other stuff.

It turns out there was a man arrested and arraigned on the day of my daughter’s birth (a year exactly from her birth date.) He was 71 when caught, and was linked to the murder of several other people besides the one he was on trial for.  I’m used to being accurate, but this was pretty nutty – to get the first and last name of the killer that he was wealthy and the blackmail thing along with other details all of which turned out to be exact, was sort of wiggy. The event and trial took place in Arizona. So it was completely off my radar. When I showed my husband the notes I had written down and the name etc, scrawled in the journal from last night and then showed him the article. He was like, “wow, that’s pretty wild.” That was that. I said don’t you think that’s pretty crazy? I mean to get the exact name and all those details? “I’m used to it,” he said in response. I never take these things for granted however. And no psychic is 100% accurate including me so it’s always a bit trippy when the details are so spot on and you get actual names especially both a first and last name. That is incredibly rare.

I was going to rail on about “Peasant insurance” originally until I had this happen. Peasant insurance is when you work for a company like Wells Fargo and they take out a million dollar life insurance policy on your life, then collect when you die, giving nothing to your family and of course they don’t pay for your funeral or medical costs. It’s just a way to make extra money off the death of employees. Pretty sick. I heard about it several years back on NPR but was under the misconception that it was rare. Unfortunately, it is not rare at all. My husband found a website that lists companies that do it and it’s crazy. Personally I was disgusted not just by the fact that companies would do this especially since it seems like a conflict of interest. They generally provide health insurance and control the level of stress in a person’s life by how much they make a person work and how much pressure they put on employees. Stress has been linked to every sort of disease, that’s a given but what if a company had toxic materials they exposed people to without their knowledge, they might have an idea that those people would be shorter lived than most. The diabolical applications are endless. Here’s a list of some of the companies. This is not public information as your corporation can take out insurance on you without your knowledge or consent. And what the hell is with the word “peasant” do these scumbags think they are better than everyone else because they have money? Really, it’s so disgusting on every level. Here’s the link:

Hope all is well with everyone. BTW if you live in CA get your earthquake kits together. I think you have some time but do it soon as I have a feeling we are in for a big one in the next few years. I’ll let everyone know as I feel it getting closer. This past month I’ve been getting worried about it. I’m usually pretty far ahead of those things so as my anxiety builds I’ll blog about it.

May the Great Spirit protect all the good souls from the negativity that has descended on our world. I hope those who have caused all the suffering directly feel the pain they have caused and are no longer insulated from it as they have been. A rectification is in serious order here.  The meek (kind) have to start inheriting the earth, as promised.

Tomorrow I’m going to talk about the Mayan Calendar stuff. I have some new info on it.
